prompts: elevator, vintage car show, white daffodils, a confession (using only three of them, without "white daffodils.)

Drabble: word count 462 with author's notes.

Oh and Will doesn't exist in this story!

I saw Spence stepping inside the elevator, when I saw that the doors are about to close, I shouted for him to hold the elevator, he did so.

"Thank you Spence!" I smiled at him

He smiled back. 'No problem JJ, how are you?" he asked me sensing that something wrong.

"Not to good." I answered him, figuring that there is no need to lie to him. He was one of the best profilers in the world and my best friend.

He looked at me confused. "Why, what's wrong?"

I took a deep breath and sighed. "Well there is this vintage car show this weekend that I want to go really badly, but my sitter is not available and I can't leave Henry alone." I lied to him not wanting him to know the truth it was my business, but from the look on his face he didn't buy it at all.

"Come on JJ tell me the truth, you know you can trust me."

I sighed as I saw that the elevator had stopped. "Alright, alright I will confess to you… I-I have a date this weekend, but I don't have anyone to look after Henry.

He looked at me surprised. "Wow, a date, who's the lucky guy?" he asked me.

"His name is Josh and he's great, he really cares about me, and is really good with Henry, and…" he cut me off "You love him" he told me.

"What?"

"JJ the way you're talking about him leads me to think that you're madly in love with him." He told me.

I thought for a second. "Maybe you're right." I was cut off again, but this time from the elevator doors opening revealing non other then Emily Prentiss.

"Hey guys what's up?" she asked us.

"Nothing!" answered Reid then turned to me. "Um JJ I can look after Henry this weekend, so that you can go to that car show." He offered

"Really?" he nodded

"Aghh, thank you Spence, you're a life savior." I gave him a kiss on the cheek and we both started to head to the bullpen, but not before Emily gave me a look that said "I know you're hiding something, but I will let it go for now."
