Dear Dean and Sam,
I wanted to tell you that I'm extremely proud of the young men you've become. I know that it wasn't easy for you to grow up without my presence but I have to tell you that your father tried his best.
He loves you boys and so do I
You've displayed bravery and kindness. Your friends admire you for who you are and I want to express the fact that I wish things could have been different but I'm glad that you've turned out to be incredible people.
People always judge you and that's not going to change. You're supposed to earn their respect in a dignified manner and that's exactly what you've done.
You fight for what you believe and even though things don't always seem so great, you find ways to stand up for what's right.
I wish I could I've been there to see your first step, Sammy and I wish I hadn't missed out on your or Dean's important moments in life. It pains me terribly to not be there in person but just because you don't know I'm there, doesn't mean I'm not.
Does that make sense? I watch you from afar and my heart swells with pride to see that my sons are wonderful men with bright futures ahead of them. It takes strength to do the job that you have and I know from experience that it's never ever easy but at the end of the day, I hope you don't feel as disheartened as I used to during my days of hunting.
As long as you have each other, you'll be alright. After all, two is better than one.
Two Winchester brothers are a force to be reckoned with. Reminds me of when Sam would start crying as baby and Dean, you would jump out of bed and instead of getting me or your father, you'd rush to the nursery and quiet him in your own way.
I have so much to say to you but I don't know how to say it.
I love you both so much.
Love,
Your mom,
Mary.
