I finally found the time to post the first chapter of a re-done Noblesse! I changed the name to More than Some and hope to continue it regularly, but that's unlikely.
Notes:
- I started this re-write about two years ago. My writing has further advanced since then, but I do not have the time to do yet another re-write. I may be able to find the time to edit it in the future, but for now, it will have to do. I really want to publish something.
- I changed Mirai's name to Doe-Han Vetter.
- Appearance change from ashen-blonde hair and blue eyes to short brown hair and pink-brown eyes.
- Personality is now apparent. Went from a Mary-Sue to a (hopefully) fleshed out character.
- There will be storyline divergences. I intend on actually including Doe-Han into the story rather than having her hang in the background with her actions being utterly useless, so there will be changes in dialogue, events, etc. I will be sticking with the main story, of course, but I will also be including short, sometimes important, divergences between (and maybe during) the story arcs.
- I'm not great with keeping characters that are not my own in character. I have a hard time figuring out how some characters would respond to certain situations and/or getting a grasp on their overall personality. It doesn't come easy to me. So I sincerely apologize if something seems out of character for any of the cast.
- This story may be incredibly self-indulgent. Which means that *some* of the situations I incorporate and the outcomes/reactions might end up being intentionally out of character. This story is being written for fun more than anything.
- My intention is to keep the stereotypical dark themes out of this story, but should I ever decide to include them, I will provide a content warning.
- As mentioned several times now, I don't often have much time to write. Raising a child alone is a time-consuming activity. My son's body is still adjusting to life outside the womb, so a lot of things go wrong and cause him pain, which means I typically spend my entire day attempting to console him. As someone who never intended on being a mother, thus never read up on kids, I'm doing what I can. It doesn't come as easily as I wish it would. That said, updates will be far and few between until things start to balance out with my son.
So here we are! Hopefully you read all of the information above. It's rather important to know the changes in the new story!
I sincerely hope More than Some is a better reading experience than Noblesse (real original, me. Real original.) ever was. Once again, please inform me of any typos you read as well as any plotholes. I want to keep this story well-formed, but still enjoyable to write!
So I was going to provide the link here, but I realize I'm not allowed to post links. So you can either go through my profile and scroll down to "More than Some" or insert the rest of the link necessary for this: s/12930443/1/More-than-Some
