Equius woke up slowly and sat up as he gently took the string off his neck. He turned his head and gasped as he saw Nepeta dead beside him. He jumped to his feet quickly and ran out of the room looking for Gamzee and Karkat. Rage boiled inside him, this was all their faults! But it was his fault as well... He could have protected Nepeta if he hadn't listened to a mutant blooded freak! Karkat had no business being leader! He should have been ordering Karkat around not the other way around! He soon found them, Kanaya, Sollux, and Terezi watching as Karkat finally calmed down Gamzee. He clenched his fists then ran at them as they slowly pulled away from the hug. He grabbed Karkat by the throat and slammed him into the ground. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU-" Karkat screamed before he was punched. Equius heard the sound of Kanaya's chainsaw starting up and an angry shout from Terezi but he ignored them. He could finish Karkat off before they got to him...

Gamzee stood still for a few seconds staring down at them in shock before the rage suddenly filled him back up. He clenched his fists as Equius slammed Karkat's head onto the ground and Karkat let out a cry of pain. "MoThEr FuCkEr!" he shouted before he grabbed Equius's neck and pulled him off. In his rage he didn't even notice how strong he was, he had never really payed any attention to his strength. He punched Equius and threw him on the ground. "MoThEr FuCkEr, It WiLl Be A mOtHeR fUcKiNg MiRiClE iF yOu SuRvIvE tHiS" he said darkly before he tackled him. He wrapped his hands around his throat and choked him violently with a dark excited smile on his face. "HoNk!" he cried out before he slammed Equius's head onto the ground and his blue blood pooled around him.

He slowly stood up and glared down at him making sure this time he was dead. He looked up at Kanaya, Terezi, and Sollux. Kanaya and Terezi were watching him nervously as they inched closer to Karkat. He said nothing as he turned and walked over to Karkat. He picked him up and watched them daring them to move towards him before he turned and went back inside carrying Karkat. He was still extremely angry and ready to attack anyone else who got in his way. He looked down at Karkat who was unconscious. "ItS oKaY bEsT fRiEnD" he said softly as he carried him into the lab and sat down. He gently hugged Karkat as he laid against his chest still unconscious. They were both covered in Gamzee's purple blood, Karkat's red blood, and Equius's blue blood but Gamzee didn't seem to notice. He just stared forward at the wall still angry but now unwilling to do anything but hurt anyone who tried to get Karkat away from him. He had seen the others come near and watch them before they walked away, he knew they were waiting for Karkat to wake up and calm him down again. He looked down at Karkat and gently moved his hair out of his face. "ItS oKaY bEsT fRiEnD, ItS oKaY.." he mumbled quietly.

Was just looking at some pictures of Gamzee and Karkat and just thought of this small scenario.. I know its crap but it's just a short little story on what I think would have happened if Equius wouldn't have died and how I think Gamzee would have stepped in to protect Karkat. I just think Gamzee would never let anyone hurt his best friend/Moirail.

I don't own Homestuck or any of the characters, they belong to Hussie. I also don't own the part where Karkat and Gamzee were hugging, that's what Hussie had them do. :3
