Crafty and Cunning

Note: There are just so many good characters in Red vs. Blue! Why don't we focus more on Wyoming? He's always in the background, but we really don't know what he's thinking. So here's what I think he's thinking! Inspired by Red vs. Blue Season 10 Episode 13.

Disclaimer: I do not own these characters, I just want to write about them. I don't ever intend to profit from them. Read and Enjoy! Comment if so moved. Thanks for looking!

Reginald wasn't a complex person. His accent gave him a certain charm and mystique that made people take notice, but he wasn't the kind of person who was going to go out of his way to make friends. Sure he had a couple of solid knock-knock jokes that made everyone chuckle. And he was rather proud of the fact that he could do this well.

The person he tended to hang out with was Maine solely for the fact the big brute didn't talk but maybe five words a day. Reggie believed Maine didn't think beyond a primal instinct anyway. He wasn't really into York's sarcasm or North's caring nature. And he certainly didn't give a shit about Carolina's ego or South's temper. That's what made Maine the go-to guy. He didn't speak up or argue. He took his orders and carried them out well. Maine was easily persuaded.

Wyoming was crafty and cunning. That's why he was assigned Gamma. Gamma was also crafty and had many ideas. The two of them had hit it off right away. They would talk to one another (usually inside Reggie's head) dissecting each mission, replaying every shot, maneuver and kick, and coming up with even better and more creative ways to solve the situation. When Sigma had joined Maine, he was invited into the conversation. Sigma was well-spoken and creative. He had dreams. And so they let Sigma believe he was the one who conceived the idea of metastability. But it was they who planted the seeds. Gamma was the one who convinced Carolina and it was Wyoming who led the charge. But Maine got all the credit. Yes, they were a crafty and cunning group.

Wyoming was convinced they could do anything.
