Chapter 1

Atlantis

The energy rings of Harry's computer vanished leaving Harry, Cleopatra, Betsy, Nefertiri, Cassandra, Amira, and Amira's guards in a darkened hall of what looked to be a room made out of strange crystalline metals and actual crystal. Harry moved to a strange triangular altar and looked over three dark circles. Waving his hand over one caused it to shift slightly and lift out of the socket to reveal a two-foot crystal formation cut cylindrically to fit the hole. "What eez zat, 'Arry?" Amira inquired in English.

"It's a type of crystal based technology known as a Zero Point Module. The technology uses a crystalline shell to contain quantum foam, a substance formed of microscopic wormholes that open and close between the inside of the crystal formation and an artificially created subspace pocket dimension until it reached maximum entropy and the wormholes die out." Harry responded as his eyes glowed and he focused on starting the appropriate interdimensional reactions. Soon the crystal formation began to glow brightly and he moved it back to the hole where he placed it back into its containment area.

Betsy watched him duplicate the reaction to a second crystal formation before she became interested. "What are you doing to them?" she wondered.

"I'm using my powers to start the chain reactions needed to make the microscopic wormholes. This fully charges the modules and restores power to Atlantis. One of these modules produces enough power to keep North America fully powered for one hundred thousand years. These three will power the entire city of Atlantis for approximately ten thousand years before they need to be recharged again. I learned about them in my technology research." he confided before placing the last module into place and moving to a "V" shaped consol beside the devices.

His fingers danced over the consol surfaces rapidly and touched dozens of characters before the lights went up and the cold temperature in the room changed to a much warmer one. He pressed another character and a wave of energy came down from the ceiling and through to the floor making all of the frost and ice in the room disintegrate but leaving all of them completely unharmed. With that complete, Harry pressed one final button causing protective covers to form over the surface of the ZPM units in order to ensure they remained undamaged and secure. The boy looked over the systems to make sure everything was up and running before moving towards a circular side room like an alcove.

All of the women followed with him and stepped into the cabin-like area and a panel displayed the entire lily pad-like city with various red dots on it. Harry pressed a button and there was a bright flash. The women needed to blink away the spots for a moment before realizing they were in a completely different area. "What was that?" Cleopatra gasped.

"It was the teleporter. They're all over the city and work as an elevator as well. Since the city is so large they were put in to ensure that the residents would be able to get around quickly. It's about the size of Manhattan Island so it was that or New York traffic. I like to think these people made the more reasonable choice." quipped Harry causing Betsy, Cassandra and Amira to smile slightly. He walked over to a large consol and began to work causing the rest of the city outside of the central control building where they currently remained to explore.

A gasp came from Cleopatra causing the assembled women to stare out of an observation window at the huge city. The shield that protected the city held the water at bay allowing them to see fabulous creatures unlike anything they had ever seen. A Southern Minke Whale swam past the outside of the shield as well as several schools of fish while over a mile of ice loomed above the city. Harry looked over the sensors and adjusted the shield to make it melt ice as the engines on the bottom of the city fired up slowly.

Gradually the city began to rise from the bottom of the sea. The shield touched the bottom of the ice and instantly began to melt the ice into water. It was rather interesting to watch if he was honest. All of the ice within three hundred meters of the shield instantly turned into liquid water. This caused the city to rise over the following twenty minutes until the water fell away like a curtain leaving the shield covered city looking out over a frozen wasteland.

"Harry, where are we?" Cassandra asked.

"We are in Antarctica." Harry informed before moving to a pedestal. He pressed a button which caused a device on a large crystalline metallic ring below them to light up. Harry pressed another button and then another causing another seeming lock to light up until he placed his hand on the red crystal in the center. All of the women jumped in shock as there was a burst of light and an explosion of bubble-like energy which extended out of the ring into the air before being sucked back into the ring. "Follow me."

The surface of the energy within the ring was like a puddle stood up on its side. Harry stepped through causing the surface to ripple as he vanished. All of the women paused but Amira carefully stepped through causing the others to follow until the last had passed inside. Each woman stumbled slightly and looked disoriented as she stood back up on the floor of Harry's workshop. It had been disassembled and the various drones were lining up while carrying the various technology and things from it.

"Alright, keep in line. Stay at least ten meters from the gate until the wormhole is stable. Mark Six, that means you!" chided Harry causing the drone to sulk slightly as it got back in line by drooping a little bit. "Stop pouting. It's only because I don't want you to get vaporized by the unstable wormhole."

Cleopatra came over to Harry with the other women and looked around in surprise. "What are you doing?" she questioned.

"I'm moving my workshop to Atlantis. With the facilities that are there, I'll be able to work better than I can elsewhere. I'm also moving Jarvis there so he will have a better facility to maintain. He'll be connected to this location as a satellite of Atlantis." Harry responded before looking at the circular device. "Dialing out." This time the inner ring of the circle began to spin. It stopped on one of the strange locking mechanisms beside it and the mechanism opened, then shuck with loud clicks. "Pegasus." he counted off before the circle began spinning the other direction like a combination lock. "Pisces, Crater, Piscis Austrinus, Capricornus, Norma, Sculptor."

Just as before, the door exploded outwards and was sucked back into a puddle formation which seemed to prompt the drones to move forward into the portal one after another with Harry following them. The women followed Harry into the portal and recovered slightly faster while the portal vanished behind them. Harry helped them up while instructing the drones as to what locations to put the various equipment in. They went into the transporters six at a time and vanished in groups to put the technology in the designated areas. All of the girls straightened up while Harry moved to the main control center.

Beginning his work, Harry took his computer from his coat's breast pocket and held it out to the main consol. "Computer, upload Jarvis A.I. to Asuran system." he requested.

Geometric symbols formed on the surface of the prism as a beam of light began to pulse back and forth between the console and computer. "Uploading… Upload complete." it announced and went silent.

"Jarvis, are you there?" questioned the entity.

"I have indeed been uploaded, sir." the artificial intelligence confirmed. "I have taken control of the drones by remote and I am running a full diagnostic on the systems before installations begin."

Nodding, Harry looked to the girls and motioned for them to follow him. In the transporter, they arrived in a large room that was a perfect circle. It had strange cylindrical things resting around it. One of those things Harry walked to and he waved his hand over the back causing the systems to come online. The back shifted and opened to reveal twenty-two seats with twenty for passengers, one for a pilot and one for a copilot.

An extremely intrigued Betsy looked at the device with a hopeful expression. "Is this what I think it is, Harry?" she whimpered almost pleadingly.

"It's a short range interstellar ship called a Gateship also jokingly known as a Puddle Jumper. More typically it is used as a scout and fighter ship but we're just going to have some fun with it." decided the entity. "Has anyone here ever been to Saturn?" All of the women in the room seemed to be confused by the idea and got in with Harry as the pilot and Betsy as copilot. "Alright, Betsy, this ship is controlled through a neural interface with the pilot and copilot. Your telepathic powers should make this very easy for you. Just relax and control the systems with your mind." A giddy supermodel sat back in her chair and the systems came online making her smile as the back doors shut. Those who had never gone flying or simply had never seen such a thing move in such a manner gripped their seats as the small ship moved forward and began to lift up out of the bay with two thruster pods extended from the back of it once they were above the city.

June 11, 1992 arrived and exam results came out. Other students were upset with Harry for getting perfect scores on all of his exams. He ignored them and focused on his home game against Egypt on the seventeenth. The Egyptians were a bit more enthusiastic about defeating France due to Harry being on the team and he was hit with no less than four bludgers in the match since both Egyptian beaters were studiously targeting him. It had no effect but it was annoying.

Instead of joining the other Hogwarts students on their trip back to London after the school term ended on the twentieth, with Ravenclaw winning the house cup, Harry headed back to Atlantis and dialed a new address into the controls. That address was Scutum, Taurus, Triangulum, Piscis Austrinus, Gemini, Virgo and Scorpius. The circular device known as a Stargate activated and Harry patiently walked down the steps before stepping through.

Unlike with the short distance of England to the Antarctic, the Ida galaxy was over four million light years away. Harry felt his body dematerialize and watched the passage of space and stars in the span of seconds before he stepped out of another Stargate. This one was in a large hallway where Harry took note of many small gray creatures. They were skinny and frail with enlarged heads and huge black eyes. "A Tau'ri? Here? What is it doing out of its own galaxy?" one of the creatures asked its companion in their language.

"It's very rude to speak about someone in their presence as if they are not here." said Harry making the small creature blink in surprise.

Another of the creatures stepped forward and spoke. "You can understand us? And speak our language? How?" it questioned.

"I'm not a Tau'ri nor am I related to them. This form was simply more convenient to wear since I live amongst them for research purposes." commented Harry while looking at his hands with some interest before looking back at the creature. "I have need to speak with the Asgard High Council immediately. I have a solution to one of your problems and a possible solution to another." Surprised as he was, the small creature turned with the others to look at each other. It wasn't until they made contact with several government officials that he was shown out of the gate area.

Harry looked at the large hall around him and stood calmly as he turned to the seven small aliens looming above him in chairs. "I am Odin, Chief Archon of the Asgard High Council. Why have you asked to speak with us?" prompted the central alien.

"It has come to my attention that your species is failing in genetic health. I believe I can assist you in this problem." Harry answered in a perfectly calm tone.

The seven beings paused and shared looks before another leaned forward. "How can you accomplish such a task?" it questioned.

Not irritated in the slightest, Harry turned his head to look at the gray creature. "I have done extensive research on genetics and possess Lantean technology which I have outfitted for my research and training requirements. Some of this technology is still being adapted but I have completed my modifications on some of their medical technology. One such item I possess is a genetic resequencer, a device which can alter, mutate, enhance, or regress DNA. Through it, I believe I can use any records you might have on your original genetic structure to restore the genetic code of your species. No doubt it would be time consuming but I will be able to do it given the appropriate samples and references." he told the being.

Another of the beings seemed skeptical and looked pointedly at Harry. "It is our experience that other species generally do not give such things without an expectation of reparation. What are you asking for?" it pressed.

"Nothing. I am not a being and I neither need nor desire anything short of occasional solitude to continue my personal research and training of my powers. There are very few rules I am bidden to follow, however one is to always follow what I feel is right. Rather than a moral concept, it is a concept in what is "correct" that I am to follow. The Asgard have helped many races and saved civilizations many times throughout their history with no desire for gain in return. I feel this fact bears significant weight for a boon and will provide a secure future for those under your protection." the entity decided.

Odin thought for a moment before he leaned forward again. "What do you require for your resequencing?" he queried.

"I will require samples or genetic maps of your old genetic code and your current one along with as many others as you have between the two so I can reverse engineer the damage. An Asgard research team would make the work faster but is not required if you do not wish to put one forth. In current projections with my other duties and commitments a solution with a team would be feasible within two cycles of the planet you know of as Midgard around its sun if I do not have a team. Factoring a team in and my drone assistants I would project approximately half a cycle before a complete resequencing of your genetic structure can be completed and another quarter before an Asgard technology genetic resequencer could be designed for your use." calculated Harry while considering the possibilities. "Those projections are barring serious hindrances but my facility is secure so I do not anticipate any legitimate problems beyond minor distractions."

All of the beings shared looks before Odin turned back to Harry. "Very well. The research materials and team will be assembled as soon as possible." he informed. "Please inform us if you need more."

Nodding, Harry stood easily as he watched Odin. "Agreed. Another problem you have which I believe I have made a breakthrough in is the issue with the replicators." he told them.

That statement got a great deal of undivided attention as Odin became interested. "Do you believe you can really stop them?" the being asked.

"I can destroy them easily enough. The issue is that it would not give you the ability to defend yourselves from such a threat in the future should one arise. I am aware of several such things in existence which are so horrible as them, a virus which destroys the nervous system and animates the corpse into a flesh eating undead puppet to attack, eat and infect others of its own kind exists already for example." Harry responded. "Adverse conditions such as these are required to force species to evolve through adaptation. However, your race has been denied that through a mistake, thus I am giving you a small push in the correct direction as it were so you can get back on the appropriate path."

It seemed to grind their gears that Harry wasn't going to simply fix the problem but they did understand. "What have you come up with?" Odin questioned.

"My research and several simulations have yielded a possible solution in a weapon capable of disrupting the electric signals between the individual cells of the machines you know as replicators." Harry lectured.

One Asgard on the end seemed displeased. "Our scientists experimented on that possibility without success." it pointed out.

Harry was not the least bit disturbed as he turned to the creature. "I am aware. However, I have managed to create a small working prototype which is hand held as a sidearm. Its effective range is only thirty-five of your body lengths and it is focused to effect one structure at a time as if they were the cells in a singular body. I require a second team to assist me in experiments to produce a more powerful version we can mount on your ships. In the meantime, I have the schematics and specifications for the prototype here so they can be mass produced for your use." he informed while handing a single crystal up to Odin. "If you wish to perform your own experiments on it then I understand however I have resources you do not that I can use to produce them faster for your military. With a team starting immediately I should be able to have twenty-thousand reproduced within ten revolutions of Midgard."

Each of the council members deliberated before Odin nodded. "You will have two teams of our finest scientists as soon as we can get them. Heimdall, our finest geneticist will be heading the teams. Please inform us if you require anything else." he insisted. Harry nodded and handed the creature a card with the gate address of Atlantis before heading towards the Stargate to return to his new facility.

By the end of the twenty-first, Harry's teams had arrived. All of them were amazed at the level of technology that Harry had. There were sentient computer systems, advanced medical and genetic technology, nanotechnology, evolutionary mappings of countless species, and a wide array of other technologies. Many of the technologies had been disabled and the drones were redesigning or upgrading the technology according to Harry's specifications. Other areas such as the armory and the archives were completely blocked off to them.

Harry spent the remainder of June working on cryokinesis. July brought about the ability known a technokinesis, also known as cyberpathy. It was the ability to create, manipulate or absorb technology by thought alone. The ability was complex but Harry began to get the hang of it. By the time his physical human body had turned twelve on July 31, 1992, he had mastered the ability. Being able to create nanotechnology at will or manipulate a Stargate by merely thinking about what he wanted was incredibly useful.

On the thirty-first, Harry was alerted by Heimdall that a small green creature was present in the genetics lab. He quickly made his way down to the genetics lab and was interested to find a small humanoid creature. It was about the same size as the Asgard who were present. They turned to look at Harry who shifted his eyes between them. "That is so creepy." he sighed in English before stepping into the room.

"Genesis, this creature claims that it is here to speak with you. It suddenly appeared within the lab and has been insisting you should not return to some location that it calls "Homwerts" I believe it was." Heimdall explained.

"It's a house-elf, a male one at that. They are a species that low grade energy manipulating Tau'ri known as Wizards and Witches have bred and subjugated into servants. You will find that they possess low level energy manipulating and projecting capabilities. Though they don't actually understand what they do entirely they're basically just flinging their bioelectric patterns about wildly to essentially dent reality into doing what they wish. The elves bind themselves to a particular family or location as servants." a perfectly placid looking Harry stated before turning to the elf. "Is there something you wish to speak to me about?"

The elf looked at Harry with a long, pencil-like nose and its floppy, bat-like ears flapping around its head to either side of its bulging tennis-ball sized eyes. "Harry Potter, sir!" it squeaked. "So long has Dobby wanted to meet you, sir… Such an honor it is…"

"Good afternoon, Dobby." Harry responded. "What have you come to speak with me about?"

"Harry Potter is valiant and bold! He has braved so many dangers already! But Dobby has come to protect Harry Potter, to warn him, even if he does have to shut his ears in the oven door later!" insisted the tiny elf. "Harry Potter must not go back to Hogwarts!"

Arching an eyebrow slightly, Harry frowned. "I'm afraid I still need to return to Hogwarts in the coming year." responded the entity.

"No, no, no." Dobby insisted while shaking his head causing his ears to flap around his head wildly. "Harry Potter must stay where he is safe! He is too great, too good, to lose! If Harry Potter goes back to Hogwarts, he will be in mortal danger!"

Quite amused, Harry looked at the creature and shook his head. "I can't be put in mortal danger, Dobby. There are many things about me that you do not know anything about which make such a thing impossible regardless of what you think or what your family says is so." said Harry. "The issue that Dumbledore must be supervised until his trial or he will end up killing all of the students there must also be considered."

"Harry Potter must not go back to Hogwarts!" insisted the elf. "Why does Harry Potter wish to return to Hogwarts when his friends to not even write to him?"

Harry looked at the elf calmly before shaking his head. "I get mail from them daily. My methods are simply far more advanced than owls. Cedric and Oliver are acquaintances however, not friends." he responded. "Now please leave and do not return to this location. It is very dangerous for people who do not have the needed knowledge on how to use this technology."

The tiny creature became highly agitated and began to jump around. "No! Harry Potter can't go back to Hogwarts!" it wailed before vanishing with a loud crack like a whip.

Heimdall turned from where the small creature had been to Harry. "Are you not concerned by what such a creature would be able to do to stop you, Genesis?" she questioned.

"Not in any serious capacity. Though it is obviously more than slightly lacking in rational mind, the creature is harmless to me. At worst, Dobby may become a minor nuisance and irritation. It really is if no consequence." Harry decided before pausing as a message came up on his sunglasses. "If you'll excuse me. I have been asked to contact one of the governments here on Earth." The small being nodded and Harry walked back to the transporter to head to his private quarters in Atlantis.

Rematerializing from being a mass of light, Harry sat calmly in a chair in front of the large wooden desk. Below his boots there was a soft felt carpet while furniture rested behind him. His entrance to the room was so smooth that nobody seemed to notice when he appeared seemingly out of thin air. "Are you sure he'll show up? I mean what do we know about this kid?" one pudgy man with short black hair asked in a sniveling manner.

"Considering that I am older than your entire species, I will take the "kid" comment as a complement." said Harry in a calm tone causing all of the people in the room to jump in surprise.

The sniveling man looked at Harry with an irritated expression and frowned. "Where did you come from?" he demanded.

"I have been here for sometime." responded the entity.

This irritated the man who frowned. "No, you weren't here just a second ago." insisted the man.

"You will find that "here" is everywhere that you are." corrected Harry.

Agitated, the man looked at Harry with an off put expression. "Are you making fun of me?" pressed the man.

Less than intimidated, Harry looked at the man before turning to the American president passively. "If you don't mind, I have more important things to do than deal with whiny humans. Can we please get to the reason you've asked me to come here?" he requested with a serene tone. "I have experiments to complete."

The president grew interested and leaned on his desk. "What kind of experiments do you do?" he asked.

"That is not for you." responded the boy.

Again, the sniveling man spoke up. "You can't do that!" he protested.

"I said "no." My property belongs to me and me alone. Now tell me what I have been asked to come here for or stop bothering me." ordered Harry coldly.

This demanded didn't settle the human man down. "Now you listen here! I'm an adult! You will show me the proper respect or…" he began to protest only for Harry to calmly backhand him hard enough to send him flying through two walls before crumpling into a heap.

Several men in black suits with headphones in their ears burst in through hidden doors and the hole looking for an attacker. "My patience has worn out. Tell me why my presence has been requested or I'm leaving." announced Harry firmly.

All of those in the room flinched at the statement before the president cleared his throat to get everyone's attention. "During your tour of Cleopatra's tomb, you spoke of a Stargate. Do you know what it is?" he queried.

"It is a means of instantaneous travel between the various inhabitable planets through within the boundary of the twenty-eight million galaxies in this portion of the universe." he responded. "I could give a full and complete explanation of what it is, how it works and what it does but it would be of no use to you."

An elderly woman stood up from her seat and smiled. "That's not entirely true. You see while working on an archeological dig in Egypt we unearthed something which had an inscription. It was labeled a "Gateway to the Stars" in the inscription." she responded.

"Oh damnit." sighed the entity while pinching the bridge of his nose. "Did any of you nitwits actually consider the possibility that there is a reason that thing was buried?"

Next to where the woman had been, a man in a military uniform frowned. "What reason is that?" he questioned.

With a deep breath to calm his nerves, Harry turned to the old human. "There is a symbiotic species which exists known as the Goa'uld. They turn into parasites which chew through the hide of a host, burro through their body and attach themselves to the brainstem of the victim so they can possess the person, enslaving them and using them as a living puppet. Their host is left alive, cognizant, and unable to do anything but watch as they are forced to enact the horrible things the parasite forces them to do. Since the Goa'uld have advanced technology to keep their hosts young and even resurrect them from recent death, the mental and psychological torture of being controlled by a snake version of Hitler who is inside your head can go on for hundreds or even thousands of years before a Goa'uld chooses a new host. A waking nightmare from which there is no escape since the Goa'uld can kill its host if anyone tries to remove it against its will." he told the man who turned green in the face. "They possess technology that is thousands of years ahead of yours along with an element which can increase the explosive power of something such as a nuclear warhead hundreds of times over. That is without mentioning the fact that they have energy based weapons, technology to rip information out of captive's minds into computers, energy shields and that they control hundreds of solar systems in a huge empire meaning they outnumber you approximately ten billion to one. Imagine a race of parasitic Hitler-like creatures who know everything their parents knew at the time of their birth, breed in the hundreds with one birthing from one queen and have the ability to control your mind on top of their technology. The Stargate was buried in an uprising of your ancestors who stopped worshipping them as gods and buried the Stargate to try and keep them from coming back to wipe your entire species out. The only reason the Goa'uld haven't come back in force to destroy this entire planet with their intergalactic fleet is that they don't see you as valuable or dangerous enough to subjugate or destroy. If you actually open that gate they will come back and either enslave you or bombard the planet from space until no human is left alive. A global holocaust."

"What about you? Won't they do the same to you?" asked the president.

"If they had the power they would. Luckily my own technology and natural powers exceed theirs and I cannot be made into a host." he told the man.

Smiling brightly, the man clapped his hands. "Then there's no problem. We don't need to worry about the Goa'uld." the human assumed.

"I am not your protector. I don't answer to you nor do I serve you. My facility is off limits to you and if you choose to open that gate you will have made a conscious choice. Out of respect for the concept of free will I will not intervene to help or hinder you or the Goa'uld in any fashion whether it means the destruction of your species or not." decreed the boy with a cold tone. "Do as you like. My technology and power are mine, not yours and you will have the use of neither." Without any warning, Harry vanished from sight. All of those in the room began to yell and debate in a huge uproar from Harry's decree.

Harry sent reports on the top secret American "Stargate Program" to other countries along with full profiles on the Goa'uld as well as the danger the Americans were putting the other nations into. He further stated in his reports that he would not intervene to protect the human race from extinction if they chose to go ahead with the program. The Americans threw a fit at being exposed while the other nations were enraged that they were not only keeping such technology from them but that they were putting the world in danger. It was finally decided that the United Nations would oversee the project despite Harry's warnings not to try to open the gate. Luckily, they didn't seem to be intelligent enough to figure out the ring device and make it work… or they were making a stupid mistake. Either way, it was better for them that it remained inactive.

August came and Harry began to study magnetokinesis. It was an ability that allowed the user to create, manipulate or absorb magnetic fields and energy. It could be used to manipulate metal, form force fields, alter gravitational locomotion and a number of other things. If nothing else it was an extremely useful ability for the lone fact that a single coin could be manipulated like a razor to shred an entire army at a high enough speed.

Thor, the Supreme Commander of the Asgard Fleet, arrived with the other members of the Asgard high council. Harry led them through Atlantis to the holographic gymnasium where he stepped off to the side as Heimdall stepped forward. "We've worked out a small simulation of the new design we've made for a Replicator Disruptor Cannon. We'll be putting together a prototype over the course of the next fourteen rotations of this planet and performing tests for another seven rotations after that before we are ready to begin mass production. Jarvis, synthesize a group of one hundred holographic stationary replicators." he requested.

Instantly, one hundred of the spider-like machines appeared clicking their pincers and making threatening gestures. Heimdall held up a beetle-like weapon which she let the other Asgard examine. "This is our prototype. When mounted on a ship on a large scale it will be much more powerful." she began before pointing it at the machines and pressing the trigger button. The device fired out a blue energy beam that struck the center of the room and expanded over the room before fading. Each of the simulated replicators broke down into the thousands of tiny machines they were. "As you can see, it is still quite effective at this size. We have run simulations on the varying factors and are reasonably sure that a cannon of this make attached to a ship such as a mother ship the disruptor shockwave should be capable of purging an entire planet of replicators depending on how much power is put into the weapon at one time."

"Excellent work, all of you. This will most definitely be of use to the fight against the replicators." Thor commented while looking at the device. "What has come of your research on DNA resequencing?"

Heimdall nodded as she held up a touch screen pad. "We've managed to reverse engineer a complete strand of DNA already using the samples we were given. However, Genesis has made a discovery we believe would be of benefit to the Asgard as a whole." she explained.

Each of the council members turned to Harry who typed in some keys on a touch pad causing a new hologram of a green skinned creature with floppy ears, a strangely shaped nose and large tennis ball sized eyes. "This is a species on this planet known as a house-elf. They are similar in physiology to Asgard but possess adrenal glands as well as several enzymes you do not, allowing their genetic structure to remain stable. Typically, on this planet they are used as servants by energy manipulators for their low-grade ability to utilize and manipulate both energy and matter on small scales such as transmuting elements or altering the form of something. While we have made a breakthrough in restoring the Asgard genetic structure, I have discovered that this species is genetically compatible with Asgard DNA. If you wish, I believe I will be able to splice in the genetic ability for low grade energy and matter manipulation into the Asgard. This would grant the ability to teleport, manipulate energy and matter on small scales, form protective shields, and release energy blasts of varying kinds through force of will alone." he told the beings.

Odin seemed to become interested as he heard that. "How long would this take?" he inquired.

"I've already resequenced the DNA to ensure it was possible. The alteration will not change your form but it will enhance your genetic structure allowing you to manipulate your bioelectric pattern by enhancing the portions of your genetics that typically grant control over your nervous system to the appropriate levels that you'll be able to release condensed bioelectric energy known as "Mana" from your bodies in order to alter yourselves, each other or the physical world around you. It would take several cycles to master the ability but the overall long term benefits would be astronomical. At most it would delay the resequencing by one twenty-fourth of a rotation of this planet which is negligible and would not significantly delay the project significantly." Harry calculated while playing out several simulations to show them the assorted capabilities of the ability he was offering to splice into them.

While examining the results Odin became interested in the possibilities. "Please do so then. This would provide a significant advantage over the Goa'uld when the replicators are dealt with." he decided and Harry nodded while making several notes before inviting the group to remain for dinner. His preparation of the various foods seemed to impress them and they were all quite amazed to discover that he was only an artist and not a scientist. It was a fact that seemed to impress the aliens who took note of the esthetic and technique based methods that the food was prepared to produce peak flavor, texture and scent. Harry merely continued to work once they had finished their meal and left.

It was during an experiment that Harry paused and turned his head to look off in another direction. "Heimdall, take over here." he asked.

"Is something wrong, Genesis?" she wondered.

"The astral plane, the dimension of dreams and the mind, was torn open into this dimension yesterday. I have been healing the tear but there is something with psionic power now attempting to keep the tear open. I must go and investigate immediately." Harry responded as the small gray creature took over his place at the consol. "I will return when I've sealed the rift."

The world around Harry warped and took on a version of tunnel vision as his surroundings were seemingly pushed out of the way by another location in the span of a single footstep. All around him there was a primitive village made of wood and grass huts. In the distance was a famous mountain known as Mt. Kilimanjaro which meant he was in Africa. What captured his attention was the small tear in the side of the mountain like a glowing cave forming a beacon on the side of it. Various parts of the village from crops to huts were on fire and Harry focused his mind causing the flames to die out.

For several moments, he looked about until he took note of a middle-aged woman looking out from her hut. "What has happened here?" he demanded in Swahili.

A flinch answered him as he stood watching the woman through his sunglasses. That was when he sensed two mutant signatures. Both were flying and his HUD display scanned both allowing him to note them as a woman named Ororo Munroe and Anna Marie D'Ancanto. Ororo possessed the power of Atmokinesis, an ability he was not scheduled to experiment with for several months, while Anna Marie possessed the ability to mimic the powers of others through physical contact.

When she noticed Harry looking off into the distance, the woman followed his gaze and her face lit up. "Storm!" she greeted in English as the two women landed. The one she hugged was a tall and attractive black woman with long white hair while beside her landed Anna Marie who was an attractive white woman with long brown hair in ringlets with her bangs being white. "It is good you have come."

"These folks tell me there's a kid with an attitude causin' all this mess." Anna Marie stated as she turned away from speaking to several people. She took note of Harry and her red lips formed into a displeased frown. "You the one causin' all this damage, sugah?"

"The damage was already done when I arrived. I put out the flames. Humans are not my concern to destroy unless I am provoked. My mission is to find the one keeping the rift to the astral plane open and kill them with extreme prejudice." Harry informed before pausing and turning to look off into the distance. "Target's psionic pattern located. Designation as Amahal Farouk, alias Shadow King complete. Begin tracking signature."

Something began to quickly approach and Harry took care not to look directly at it and suppress his psionic signature before snapping his arm up just as it attempted to move past him. His hand gripped a mutant teenager by the throat and he slammed the mortal's form into the ground hard enough to bruise its vertebrae. The boy struggled and spoke in an unnaturally deep tone as his eyes glowed red. "Let… me… go!" he choked.

"Target acquired." Harry said as he lifted his left hand up and surrounded it with a psionic blade of telepathic energy called a Psychic Knife which Betsy had taught him. "Beginning assassination of target."

Behind him, Ororo seemed to grow panicked and threw her hands out. "No!" she cried and bolts of lightning lashed from her fingers to strike him in the back. "Let my son go!"

Unaffected by the electrical discharge, Harry turned to look at the woman before returning to his task. An ethereal mist poured out of the boy's mouth and tried to head for Harry only to be repelled by Harry's natural and psychic defenses. When it realized that it couldn't possess Harry, it tried to flee until Harry held out his left hand. He fired the psychic knife like a bullet from his hand causing it to hit the mist. It wailed and thrashed as the glowing white energy made it became visible to the naked eye. Harry released the mutant boy and walked to the prone and thrashing mist where he formed another psychic knife and stabbed it into the mist. Screams of pain and fear came from it before cracks of psionic energy formed along the astral form and it exploded. Unlike Voldemort, the creature had no anchors to keep from being cast into the netherworld and it dissipated into nothing.

"Target Shadow King terminated. Resuming repairs of Astral Rift." Harry told his mission log in his sunglasses and focused back on the mountain causing the quantum strings to weave back together until the tear no longer existed. "Repairs Complete. Mission Completed. Returning to base."

Both of the mutant women turned to him and Ororo spoke up. "Wait! Who are you?" she questioned just before Harry's body turned into a silhouette of light and faded from sight as he dematerialized into a mass of invisible light.
