Bosami Week Day 2: Drive

College is here! Aaahhh! I have some announcements in the bottom. As always, I own nothing but the plot.

It was one of those days, when the rain was falling hard and the generators weren't working. All Bolin wanted to do was to go back to sleep; he lacked the will to do anything on days like these.

His girlfriend, however, had other plans.

She lit all the candles she could find in the mansion, giving the whole building a dim, relaxing ambience. Bolin could hear her pacing around the facility, as if she was looking for something.

"Aha!" She screamed, almost being drowned out by the thunder that followed.

Bolin could hear her footsteps hastening and getting louder. The door to their bedroom creaked open, allowing his lover to walk inside.

"Bo! Wake up!"

"But 'Sami, it's storming. There's nothing for me to do," Bolin mumbled tiredly.

Asami shook the sleeping man, "Yes there is. You are going to accompany me on a drive."

"In the rain?" the earthbender questioned?

"It's the best time to drive since nobody's outside," Asami defended.

Seeing Bolin not move, the inventor angrily pulled the covers off her lover. Refreshed from the cool air, Bolin finally trudged his way out of bed and into the bathroom.

"Women," he muttered under his breath.

"Love you too, Bo," she answered back.

The drive itself wasn't bad. Yes, the roads were slippery and the windshield wipers couldn't push the droplets fast enough, but seeing as no one inside or outside the Satomobile was hurt, Bolin considered it to be pretty successful.

What he didn't understand was why the two were in a clearing away from the city, in the middle of the pouring rain, and why Asami was getting out of the Satomobile without an umbrella.

"Woohoo!" she screamed as she skipped around the muddy clearing, splashing on puddles and sticking her tongue out from time to time.

Bolin's hands and feet moved of their own accord; before he knew it, he was already drenched by the downpour, slamming the door of the vehicle closed. Bolin started running towards his lover, who started to run away from him. Asami laughed as Bolin redoubled his efforts to catch her.

By the time Asami was in Bolin's arms, the two were soaked, specks of mud all over their clothes and face. Neither cared, though, happy to be in each other's arms.

As the two kissed, Bolin realized that Asami can make him do more despite the lassitude the rain gave him. He would do anything to make her happy, no matter what. She's his driving force in life.

In short, Asami was more powerful than the rain.

Yea, it's short. I will try to finish this shipping week, but after that, my updates will be very slow. I will try my best to write for pleasure, but please be understanding, for the broke college girl who gets easily overwhelmed.

Stay whelmed everyone, and review!
