So it's been over two months. I'm so sorry, guys. My computer broke and then I was working all the time, I had absolutely no time for writing. It's half past midnight and I'm uploading this chapter after the long wait. Hopefully you guys are still looking forward to this story. Don't forget to read and review. (Reviews encourage faster uploads!)

"Uh oh" Fred said as he helped Hermione up. He looked at her with reluctance in his eyes. "I know you hate flying but it's the fastest way home and out of this storm."

Hermione looked at the clouds that were swarming menacingly, black against the sky. She swallowed hard but nodded. Fred grabbed his broom that had been leaning against the tree. He has brought it to show Hermione some tricks up close to impress her. She was more concerned about him falling than the technique of the tricks. Hermione mounted behind Fred and held on tightly around his waist, burying her face in his back.

"Could you just slack your grip a little, love?" Fred asked, breath shallow. She shook her head and only buried her face her face deeper into his jumper, eyes closed shut, and they were still on the ground. Fred evened out his breathing, managing around Hermione's death grip before kicking off the ground and soaring up towards the burrow.

The higher they rose the louder Hermione screeched. The rain fell in sheets instantly, pounding against them. Hermione's grip was slipping, no matter how tightly she tried to hold on. The broom got slippery and she could feel herself slipping off the handle.

"FRED!" She cried before slipping off completely and falling towards the ground. Fred's vision was blurred because of the rain; he couldn't locate her quickly enough to stop her fall before hearing the loud splash of a body falling in the lake. He pointed his broom into a dive. He landed straight into the lake and dragged both Hermione and the broom back to shore. Hermione cast an Impervius before casting a drying spell on themselves and the broom.

Fred chuckled at her ingenuity. "Brilliant you are."

Hermione rolled her eyes. "Brilliant would have thought of that before falling off the broom."

The flight to the Burrow was more relaxed now, although Hermione's grip never lessened.

When they walked into the Burrow Mrs. Weasley was fussing about them being out in this sort of weather. Fred explained Hermione's charms (excluding the fall into the lake of course). Mrs. Weasley still looked worried but stopped complaining and told them to go freshen up before dinner.

The dinner was boisterous, as it always was at the Weasley household. Percy stood up and cleared his throat, eventually having to yell over Ron for the table to settle into silence.

"Penelope and I would like to make an announcement." Penelope stood up in turn. "We're getting married!" Percy exclaimed. Congratulations went around to the couple, the girls admiring the ring glittering on Penelope's finger while the men were slapping Percy on the back. Mrs. Weasley could be heard over the bustle asking about wedding details.

Bill stood up once the ruckus has died down slightly. "Not to take away from your special moment, Perce, but Fleur and I have an announcement ourselves." Bill said, holding onto Fleur's waist. "Our Victoire is going to be a big sister." Bill smiled proudle. An uproar of cheers filled the kitchen once more. Mrs. Weasley could be heard yelling something along the lines of 'more grandbabies!"

Congratulations, hugs, and kisses were passed around the table again. That night was cause for celebration and Firewhiskey flowed like water. Mr Weasley who had taken more than his fair share was staring at Harry's electronic watch with eyes wide, wondering how the 'electicity' had gotten into the contraption.

Hermione turned around to notice Fred and George chuckling to each other in the corner of the room. She made a bee line straight for the famous pranksters. "What's so funny, boys?" The twins stopped laughing at once and stood straight and rigid by each other's sides.

"Nothing, Mione." Fred said, pulling the brunette close to him.

Hermione smacked him on the arm and sent him a glare. "We're in the middle of your family, Fred. What are you doing?"

"Nobody's looking this way. Come on, love, just a quick snog." Fred wiggled his eyebrows comically.

Hermione rolled her eyes, he knew the silly gesture always got to her. She stood onto the tip of her toes and gave her idiot of a boyfriend a kiss. She thought it'd be chaste and barely noticeable but Fred seemed to have other ideas in mind. One hand went to her hair as the other slipped around the small of her back, bringing her close to him. Hermione melted into the embrace and lost track of where they were.

"HERMIONE JEAN GRANGER!" A voice yelled from across the room. Hermione fell away from Fred and spun to see Bill stalking towards them. He took Hermione's shoulders, shaking her. "What are you doing? Are you so drunk that you're going off snogging Fred? The prankster? You complete opposite? He stands for everything you're against. Have you lose your mind?" He spun towards Fred now. "And you! Mum raised you better than that. You know not to take advantage of girls when they're not themselves!" Bill grabbed Hermione's wrist. "You can sleep here tonight, there are spare beds a plenty, come on." Hermione looked over her shoulder to find a dumbfounded Fred. She mouthed the words 'I love you' before disappearing into Ginny's room.

Bill left her alone to change and get reading for bed. She wasn't all against the idea, she was rather tired. She slipped into bed and closed her eyes. The crack of the door peeked her curiosity but she kept her eyes closed, assuming it was just Ginny coming up to bed as well. A soft pressure fell on her bed. She fluttered her eyes open to find a freckled face hovering over her. She smiled sleepily at him.

"I just thought I'd pop in to say a proper goodnight since my brother so rudely took you away. George and I'll sleep in our old room as well." Hermione sat up and kissed him softly. "I love you, Mione. Sweet dreams." He tucked her into bed, which made Hermione laugh.

"I love you, too." She whispered and he shut the door behind him, a smile spread broadly across his face.
