A/N: Hi guys! So I feel like the biggest jerk for totally leaving this story for almost a year. I was super busy and it was really stressful. This isn't a blog so I'm not going to go far in depth with my life, but I will hopefully have some time to update now. I was really just not liking season 4 of Vampire Diaries so I stopped watching for a while, but two of my friends made me watch it again…And I am so happy they did! So here I am randomly updating again, if any of you are still reading. Thanks for your feedback, as always! Keep reviewing and sharing my story.
Disclaimer: I don't own Vampire Diaries!
Stefan's Point of View
Sleeping wasn't very easy, though. Once I got myself to sleep, it only took an hour for Elena to wake me again. She kept tossing and turning next to me, making it impossible for me to even try going to sleep. I reached my arms out to her and stopped her moving once she turned to me again.
"Elena, I cannot go to sleep when you are moving around like that." I loosened my grip on her wrists and she wiggled out of my hands.
"I'm sorry; I just can't find a comfortable position. Maybe I'll just go see if the girls are still up." She moved away from me, but I reached out to her and pulled her back in the bed.
"Don't leave me." I looked at her with desperate eyes and cleared my throat. "I mean, it will just be harder for me to sleep if I have this bed all to myself." She smiled and snuggled into my chest.
"Well, aren't we needy Stefan?" She planted a kiss on my collarbone and patted my chest.
"Yes. But only because I love you." I smiled back at her and leaned down to kiss her forehead.
"Well that's good because I love you too." She kissed my lips softly now and I reached for the hem of her shirt.
"It only seems fair that you wear the same amount of clothing as me." I smiled as I pulled her shirt over her head.
"Stefan, we have guests over." She warned as I left a trail of kisses down her neck.
"But you're the one who started this." I complained as I continued leaving kisses all over her body.
"So you can be the one to end it." She smiled and left a soft kiss on my lips.
"Fiiiinnneee." I left one more kiss on her shoulder before pulling her into me. I brushed my fingers through her hair and left kisses on her forehead every once in a while as she wrapped her arms around my body. "What do you want to do tomorrow?" I asked and waited for her response. When she didn't respond, I looked down at her. "You've got to be kidding me." I muttered out as I dropped my hands from her hair.
How was it so easy for her to go to sleep? I sighed and figured I might as well try to go to sleep while she was asleep as well.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of slamming car doors outside. I slowly opened my eyes and squinted at the morning sun. Elena was next to me, and was already awake.
"Good morning." She smiled and leaned in to kiss me.
"Morning." I mumbled against her lips as I rolled over on top of her and kissed her again. She smiled and rubbed my arm. "I don't like this." I tugged on her sports bra and she raised an eyebrow at me. "It's keeping me from you." I added and she let out a giggle.
"You naughty boy!" She gasped out as I pulled it over her head. I reached down for her shorts when a sound at the door alarmed me. Elena froze under me and I rolled away from her. "Here!" I threw my shirt at her and she quickly put it on.
"It safe for me to come in?" Caroline asked from the other end of the door.
"Yeah." I exchanged a confused glance with Elena when she sunk back under the blankets.
Caroline opened the door and stared at me. "Sleeping." I whispered to her and Elena smiled up at me with her eyes closed.
"Ah, okay." She whisper shouted back at me. "Do you guys want to grab lunch at the grille with all of us in an hour?"
I looked down at Elena who nodded her head back at me. "Sure." I smiled at Caroline and she nodded.
"Alright, we'll just wait downstairs then." She whispered and headed for the door. "Bye Elena!" She added a little louder this time as she backed out of the room. I opened my mouth to say something and Elena rolled over me laughing.
"She knows me to well." She kissed me quickly before rolling away again. "Come on, we gotta get ready." She got off the bed and moved to the closet to look for something to wear.
"But…we were about to…aw man." I got seriously disappointed when I realized Elena wasn't coming back to bed.
"I'm sorry Stefan, but you heard Caroline! We're getting lunch in an hour. I need to get ready!" She smiled at me as she pulled out a pair of jean shorts.
"Can I at least join you in the shower?" I smirked at her as she rolled her eyes at me.
"You have 25 minutes. I mean it!" She reached for a tank top and brought all her clothes into the bathroom as I jumped out of bed.

Elena's Point of View
After Caroline had been driving us all around for more than 10 minutes in Tyler's escalade, Stefan and I began to get very confused. We were nowhere near the grille, and were getting pretty close to leaving Mystic Falls.
"Caroline, where the heck are we?" I exchanged a confused glance with Stefan as Caroline turned down a neighborhood street. It was then that I realized we were in the city, and these weren't houses surrounding me, but apartments.
"At your apartment!" Caroline put the car into park and everyone started to get out of the car.
"Oh my God! Caroline why are we here?" I smiled at her as she grabbed something from the trunk.
"Well, I know you aren't moving in until next week, but I figured we could come here for lunch together now! You know just to see what everything looks like." She grabbed food out of the trunk that she must have just picked up from the grille. I ran out of the car and met her on the street.
"Thank you so much Caroline!" I wrapped her in a hug and we both smiled. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go inside!" I looked in the car for Stefan and he jumped out with a smirk on his face.
"Elena, do you have your key?" Caroline turned away from the front door at the realization that she did not. I nodded my head and dug around in my purse for it.
"Got it!" I unlocked the front door and stepped in, as everyone else followed me in.
Furniture sat around the apartment that had not been there the last time Elena was there, and the new kitchen gear Jenna had bought her was sitting on the counter. "Did you guys do all of this?" I spun around with a smile on my face and ran to the newly furnished balcony.
"Us and Damon. Do you like it?" Bonnie met me by the door as Caroline set up lunch for everyone. I turned to her with the biggest smile and nodded my head. She quickly brought me into a hug and smiled. "You okay?" She pulled away once she realized I had been tearing up a bit.
"Yeah I'm fine. I just wish my parents could be here is all." I smiled sadly at her and wiped at my tears.
"I know you do. So do I." She rubbed my arm in a comforting way and walked back to the kitchen with me.
Stefan wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead. "It's going to be okay." I nodded and took a seat next to Jeremy at the dining table.
"Let's eat!" Caroline smiled and put plates down on the table for everyone to grab.
After lunch, Elena and her friends went to the park down the street to play a nice friendly game of soccer. Matt, Stefan, Tyler, and Jeremy all played on one team; while Bonnie, Elena, and Caroline played on the other team.
"Okay girls, I got Stefan. Bonnie, you get Matt; he'll probably have the ball if Stefan doesn't. Caroline, you just go out there and attack whoever you can without hurting anyone. Alright girls on three; one, two, three."
"GIRLS!" We all screamed as we threw our arms into the air and laughed. I quickly ran towards Stefan and pinned him down on the ground when he wasn't expecting it.
"Hi!" I smiled against his lips before leaning down and kissing him.
"Hey! That wasn't fair!" He grabbed onto my hips and lifted me up into the air as he stood up. Before I knew what was happening, he threw me over his shoulder and ran.
"Stefan put me down!" I screeched as I kicked my legs freely. Why did he love doing this so much?
"Not until I get that ball!" He screamed back to me as he ran towards the ball. Caroline quickly cut him off though and ran with the ball all the way to where Jeremy was standing by the goal. Bonnie quickly ran over to the goal as well and Caroline passed it to her. Jeremy tried jumping for the ball, but Bonnie had already kicked it into the net.
We all smiled and screamed as Stefan put me back down. We got into a group huddle jumping up and down as the boys stared at us.
"How did they just do that?" Stefan asked Tyler as Matt and Jeremy joined them.
"No idea. I do however think we should just stop playing now." Tyler suggested as he walked towards the apartment.
"Agreed." The other three boys said as they followed him. We just rolled their eyes and walked back towards the apartment with our arms around each other's shoulders.
"I've really missed spending time with you girls." I said sadly turning to look at both of them.
"Let's have a sleepover next week. Just us three." Caroline smiled and Bonnie nodded her head in agreement.
"Okay. Only if you provide the wine." I compromised with a smile.
"Deal!" We squeezed our arms closer together before entering the apartment.
"Why don't I drive the rest of us home now and leave Stefan and Elena here." Caroline announced to everyone standing in the living room. They said their goodbyes and left Stefan and I standing alone.
"So fiancé, what would you like to do on our first night alone in our new place?" Stefan asked with a smirk.
"Can we just watch a movie and relax?" I was so exhausted it was the only thing that sounded enjoyable.
"Sure." He smiled back to me, but I could tell he was disappointed.
"You can pick out the movie!" I told him, trying to get some kind of excitement out of him.
"Die Hard?" He asked with excited eyes as we walked to the bedroom. I nodded my head at him with a smile as he turned the TV on in our new room.
"I just wish we could stay here forever. I want to move in now, not tomorrow." I said sadly as I sat down on the bed.
"I know, but we still have so much stuff to pack up out of the house. Lucky for you we both have super speedy vampire powers to make it go by faster." He smiled at me and sat down next to me.
"You're right we do. Maybe we'll get the packing done sooner." I laughed as he found the movie on on demand and started it. "If I don't like this movie I'm taking out my headphones and listening to music."
"Trust me you'll like it." And he was right.
WOWZA that was my longest update ever I think! Haha sorry again for the wait xx
