Hey, I'm very deeply sorry for not posting at all for over a year. A lot has happened in my life and that is why I have not published at all...but I'm starting to get back into the mojo for writing, especially fanfiction. Don't worry, I do plan to finish this story. I have an ending outline that needs to be written. But I'm going to be very busy but hopefully I can post the last few chapters fairly often.

Thank you for those who have hanged tight for the next chapter 3 you guys!

Without further ado,

"First Time" continues now...

FIVE MONTHS LATER. . .

Logan was going to bring up the subject of adoption for his grandchild one last time. He already knew what Sophie was going to say, and that she was going to be extremely irked about it since her hormones have increased ten-fold due to pregnancy and teenage issues. But he had to try. He knew if he at least got Sophie thinking about adoption for her child then Havok would come in to the conversation and finally convince her.

He knocked on her door. Surprisingly, Sophie opened it. Usually it was Havok that answered when people knocked. Recently, after finally pulling up his big boy pants and dealing with reality, Havok had finally started supporting Sophie. Logan still felt a rage come over him when he saw Havok with Sophie, who was seven months pregnant now. She had quit working at the dollar store two weeks ago. She wasn't happy about it but she knew with the baby coming soon it wouldn't be a good idea to have any more additional stress. At least she had enough money saved for the baby, if she stretched it out right.

Sophie smiled when she saw it was Logan. Her and her father still had the occasional angsty fight, but they were slowly becoming attached to one another through many therapy sessions supervised by Jean. Logan hoped this conversation wouldn't set back weeks of building up trust between father and daughter. It was already rocky enough. He walked into his daughter's room, Marilyn Manson blaring out through Sophie's beatup boombox.

Completely oblivious to the reason her father came to visit her she asked,

"So what's up, Dad?"

She barely called him Logan anymore. Another small victory thanks to Jean's therapy sessions.

"We need to talk," Logan said tensely.

"Again?" Sophie asked sarcastically.

They had just gotten through a session two hours ago. Usually after a therapy session, Sophie would stay in her room with Havok for the rest of the day to mellow down before speaking with Logan again.

"Sophie, it's important."

"Well what do you want to talk about now?"

Logan hesitated, unsure of how to bring up the matter. But only for a second.

"I still think you should put the baby up for adoption."

Sophie crossed her arms, her eyes narrowed.

"Why?" Sophie spat.

"I don't think you're ready," Logan explained. "I know good, honest people that would take your baby."

"I'm not going to let anybody 'take' my baby away. Hell no. Hell frikin' no. If I had wanted to put the baby up for adoption , I would have months ago."

"Sophie, do it for the baby."

"Havok and I will be fine as parents. You'll see."

Sophie felt a tear prick at her eye. She made herself snuff it down.

"I don't think it'll be enough."

"Whatever, Logan. Get out. Now."

Sophie trembled in anger as she pointed to the door.

"Sophie, you know I'm right."

"Screw you!" Sophie yelled as she slammed the door in his face. A second later Marilyn Manson's voice was pumped to full volume.

Feeling defeated, Logan left to give his daughter some peace.
