Fate was exiled from Riot Force 6 by Commander Hayate. Nanoha slips away to find the one she loves. Walking through different areas, she sees couples who are in love and it breaks her heart because that one special person isn't by her side. Nanoha ends up by a local river, completely devastated by the fact that Fate may never show.

In a perfect world

One we've never known.

We would never need...to face the world alone.

They can have the world

We'll create our own.

I may not be brave or strong or smart

But, somewhere in my secret heart,

Love will find a way.

Anywhere I go

I'm home.

Nanoha looked into the water and was surprised that only half of her reflection is looking back at her.

If you are there beside me...

Like dark...turning into day.

Somehow we'll come through

Now that I've found you.

Love will find a way.

She sighed and wrapped her arms around her knees, eyes closed. Unaware to her, Fate stood in the distance, watching.

I was so afraid

Now I realise.

Fate walked towards her love, who opened her eyes at the sound of footsteps and looked with relief and happiness as she saw Fate in person.

Love is never wrong

And so it never dies.

There's a perfect world

Shining in your eyes.

And if only they could feel it too

The happiness I feel with you.

"Fate-chan.." Nanoha murmured. Fate smiled and nodded her head in response. Overcomed with emotion, Nanoha rushed into Fate's outstretched arms and the two of them embraced each other.

They'd know

We're home.

If we are there together

Like dark...turning into day.

Somehow we'll come through

Now that I've found you.

Love will find a way.

I know love will find a way.

"Hey look." Fate whispered into Nanoha's ear as they sat by the riverbank, hands intertwined. "We are one."

"Yup...forever." Nanoha whispered back as they stared at their completed reflection, smiling back at their counterparts. Nothing will get between them, ever again.
