Disclaimer: Don't own.

It was about noon when Kim Brewer and Jack Brewer finished telling the story of how they got together to their fifteen year old daughter, Jenna.

"And that, is how we got together." Kim said, smiling up at her husband

"Wow. Kinda cliche isn't it?"

"Yeah. Kinda." Jack said, smiling back at Kim. Looking at her dad, Jenna said

"Dad, you were so lucky that mom decided to take you back. No offense, but you were such an idiot."

"Why is it that whenever you say that, something completely offens-"

"Yeah he was, wasn't he?" Kim said as she patted his shoulder and shared a small laugh with her daughter.

"Does he know he could have just said sorry instead of tying himself to a tree?" Jenna said to Kim, blocking her mouth with her hand from Jack. Doing the same thing back to Jenna, Kim said

"I don't think so. He was really proud of that idea."

"Excuse me, but there's two things that must be said here. One, I can hear you," Jack said, emphasizing the last three words. You could hear Kim say "you were supposed to" before she and Jenna broke out in small silent laughter. "And Second. It was a great idea. Hey... Stop laughing at me! Milton said your kind like that kind of stuff!". This, of course, only mad them laugh harder,

"Our kind? We aren't a different species." Jenna said, placing her hands on her hips, much like her mother.

"Well, I- uh." Jack tried to stay, but kept tripping over his words.

"Jenna, why don't we give your father a few minutes to compose himself." Kim said, pulling Jenna towards the kitchen. Once they reached the kitchen, Jenna said

"Oh! Don't forget that in..." she looked up at the clock "twenty minutes you said I could go to the beach with Keith and some of my other friends."

"Ah, yes." Kim replied, leaning against the counter. "This Keith boy... You know, I think he likes you."

"WhAAAAt. No... He and I are just friends." Jenna said, her cheeks turning a slight shade of pink.

"Mhmm." Kim said not believing it, sure they were friends now, but who knows what could happen. "Are you going to want to take any food, like sandwiches or chips to the beach?" Relieved that her mom let it go, she replied.

"No thanks, I think Sara said she was bringing food. I'm gonna go change now kay?"

"Yeah okay." Kim said as Jenna ran up the stairs

"Where's she going?" Jack said, finally coming back into the kitchen.

"Look who finally composed himself." She said, smirking at him. He raised his hands up in defeat. After a laugh she said "She's going to the beach. With Keith."

"Oh I see. Only Keith?"

"No, she going with Sara, Ann, and Ben."

"Should we be worried? Do I need to find my dad's shotgun?"

"I don't think so. And, not yet." Just as she said that, Jenna came running down the stairs.

"Woah. Slow down there champ." Jack said, catching he on the last step.

"Sorry, I thought I was late."

"Nope. You still have five minutes." Just then, a ding went off. Looking down at her Phone, Jenna said

"Oh that's Keith. He says he's early." As she walked out the door, she said "Bye- HIC- guys". Turning to each other with wide eyes, Jack said.

"Was that a-"

"Yes. Yes it was." Jack said as he walked towards the garage.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to find my dad's shotgun."

FIN. Yeah I know, it's super short. And it was all dialogue. Don't hate me! Anyways, Hope you enjoyed this,
