4x02: Destiny Rewitched Part Two
Previously on Charmed:
Prue and Phoebe were both dealing with the loss of their sister Piper. Prue hunting demons and Phoebe trying to keep what was left of her family together. The Source through mysterious means had acquired Pipers powers and was working with his new Seer when they discovered a fourth sister, Paige, one who could reconstitute the power of three. Paige was pulled towards the Halliwells and attended Pipers funeral service where Phoebe foresaw an attack by Shax, The Sources assassin, on Paige. As the remaining Charmed Ones and Cole rescued Paige and her friend Glenn, the truth was revealed that she was their sister by their mother and Grams. The new inspector looking into the deaths of Piper and Doctor Griffiths also suspected something was up with the sisters and charged in on them talking to the deceased relatives; Darryl knocked Cortez out before Paige returned one last time to the sisters reconstituting the power of three. Shax was finally vanquished before Paige fled in horror and confusion. Also in the heavens the mysterious founders were about to all meet to discuss the Charmed Ones reconstitution and what this meant for the future.
And now part two of the charmed season four premiere.
In the heavens Odin, Zola and Gideon were sat in the amphitheatre around the central table, a black figure wisped beside them heralding the arrival of the Angel of Death. "Glad you could attend" Zola said nodding over to the angel.
"I had matters to attend to, as you know death waits for no one" he replied taking a seat, not long after his arrival a small sphere darted around the table before bursting open into a small man who seemed quite old. "Sorry to keep the council waiting, but I couldn't arrive until after the event took place" The man told the others before sitting, "I see Fate has yet to arrive?" he questioned looking down at the last remaining seat at the far end of the table.
"Yes not yet Destiny" Gideon replied addressing the man. Finally not long later a golden ray burst forth, small golden orbs swirled into a blonde woman in a long flowing gold dress adorned with silver etchings. "Ah Fate now that you're here we may begin" Zola said standing as the woman took her seat. "As you know the prophecy Melinda Warren foresaw of the three strongest witches has been passed down since its conception, every founder before us has been tasked with seeing that the prophecy come to fruition and kept in check, and come true it did. Patricia Halliwell conceived and gave birth to the three daughters who would become the Charmed Ones" Zola said presiding over the others.
"We know this Zola, can we just hurry along a bit" Death told him.
"Very well, as you know the members of this council have been present since the birth of the eldest Halliwell, Prudence, it has long been a worry that should anything sever the charmed bond permanently that the power of three would be lost to good and evil shall gain the upper hand. As a result we all agreed that a spare Charmed One would be needed, kept from both sides, and born of two forces of good. Recent events having transpired have brought the girl forth" Zola finished saying.
"Yes, but the events didn't transpire as were foreseen" Destiny spoke up, "You tasked me with looking at all the destinies that could play out for these girls, and I never saw the one that is happening now".
"However did we not try to add this girl into the power of three before, the magical pull was getting to strong, hence the time Phoebe was to be killed by the demon Rodriguez? When this failed we agreed to move up the line to Piper with the disease of oroya fever, but every time something stopped the deaths being permanent" Odin said trying to attain as to why they were discussing this matter.
"We did" The Angel of Fate finally spoke, "However when myself and Destiny combined powers of foresight we saw that those futures meant harder battles for our side, we kept the sisters alive until we could foresee a future that could work and we did" she finished saying.
"Indeed" Destiny said speaking again, "We saw a way to add power to the power of three whilst taking it away in order to add this girl to the fold, Piper Halliwell's powers were advanced to be more aggressive, and the eldest Prudence was to be removed, a plan that was to take effect, even The Angel of Death had her on his list for some time" he said looking over at his comrade.
"This is true" Death said in agreement, "Prue had been on my list for some time, and I warned her not to fight my presence, I was ready to collect her soul right after Shax attacked".
"Then what happened!" it was now Gideon who shouted out, "If we were all seeing, all knowing how did we fail, were we not supposed to fix the grand design so the power of three remained in check, yet unbroken?" he questioned.
"And that is why we are here Gideon" Zola responded, "For now we are standing in a world that we could not foresee and we do not know what may happen, this is something we must fix, before anyone finds out".
Opening Credits
The song Losing My Religion sung by R.E.M plays as the camera pans around the Golden Gate Bridge and the surrounding bay area, it fades to black and fades back in on The Seer again her eyes glazed over using her power.
The Source flamed in just as The Seer deactivated her power. "My assassin failed Seer, Shax is vanquished and the Charmed Ones are reconstituted!" he yelled outstretching his pale clawed hand, the wall before the pair exploded. "My liege I warned you to be careful, this new witch is dangerous, she is a combination of two forces of good, a whitelighter and witch. There hasn't been a creature like her before" The Seer responded looking on at the devastation The Sources stolen combustion power had caused. "Then what must I do Seer? If this girl is so strong surely now she is reunited with her sisters she'll be untouchable" he said pacing behind the she demon.
"Not yet, the bond that forms the power of three is new with her, if you are to sever the bond again the time is now she will be confused and vulnerable, you should go to the surface disguised as someone close to her and gain her trust. Then kill her before her sisters establish too strong of a connection" The Seer informed him.
"Very well Seer, you shall guide me in my task, I shall once again break the charmed circle. And who knows I may add another power to my collection" The Source replied.
"Very well my liege, but I have yet to see the power this girl may possess, now you carry the witches. I advise caution again" she told The Source, her advice seemed to anger him. "Very well Seer, but shall I receive any more false prophesies from you, it maybe your future that's short lived" he said launching a fireball close to her head before flaming back out the cavern.

At the manor the morning sun was streaming into the kitchen; illuminating Prue who was still in her lounge pyjamas, her hair up in a messy bun sat with The Book of Shadows open and coffee in her hand, her younger sister Phoebe entered the room, fully dressed in a blue tank top and some faded jeans, her blonde hair had been curled and brushed back into a clip. "God Prue please tell me you aren't planning on hunting demons" she said to her older sister as she went in the fridge.
"Actually no, I got a few hours' sleep somehow, but I can't process everything, Mom and Sam having Paige, Grams altering my memories, Paige storming out." Prue replied, "I mean we just lost Piper, and now if we lose Paige that's two sisters I've failed" she said still flipping through the book. Phoebe sat down beside her with a bowl of apple slices. "Honey you haven't failed anyone ok" she told her sister putting her arm around her, "And as for Paige like you said she needs some time to come to terms with all of this, I mean we didn't take to being protectors of the innocent overnight, you totalled a whole chemist aisle first" she said with a slight laugh, Prue let out a smile and a laugh too.
"If I recall I'm pretty sure somebody was pushing my buttons" she said back to Phoebe giving her a slight nudge. "And even if your right and Paige does come around I just want us to be prepared, so I'm back to studying the book." Just then Cole shimmered into the kitchen, he was still in his suit looking worse for wear, small scars were on his face and there were rips in his clothes. "Cole what happened?" Phoebe asked jumping out of her seat and running over to her boyfriend. "I spent the night dodging bounty hunters, lost them not long ago" he told her.
"Did you find any more information?" Prue questioned, closing the book.
"Just that The Source is working with a she demon that can see into the future, although I don't know if it's just an oracle or something more serious" he told her and Phoebe. "Well that certainly explains how he already knew about Paige and had time to plan an attack" Prue said.
"That's not all, apparently he's furious that the Charmed Ones are back and that you took down Shax, demons reckon he's going to sever the power of three again before it's too strong" he informed the sisters. Phoebe turned to Prue with a worried look on her face before she spoke.
"Looks like we may need to find Paige sooner rather than later" she said to her older sister.
Suddenly a knock at the manors front door brought the trio out of their conversation, Prue jumped up from the seat at the table and headed into the foyer followed by Phoebe and Cole; Prue reached the front door and opened it to reveal Darryl standing on the front porch. "Morning Darryl" Prue greeted him as he entered the manor, "Darryl what brings you here so early?" Phoebe questioned him.
"I'm looking for Cortez, nobodies seen him since we came here last night" Darryl replied looking around the house expecting the inspector to just walk out in front of him. "He isn't here Darryl you know" Prue told him as she closed the front door and stood beside Phoebe.
"What!" Darryl said startled by the news, "How can he not be here, he's missing and police inspectors aren't supposed to be missing" he told the trio.
"Well don't be too worried" Phoebe told him, "We had Leo take him whilst we sorted out some family dramas" she explained to her friend.
"Well can you get him back, I need to have him at the station so people can stop asking me where he is" Darryl said stress ringing in his voice.
"Ok Darryl just breathe" Prue told him, "Leo" she shouted looking up at the ceiling as she called for her brother in-law, "Leo!" she shouted louder this time before a swirl of white lights cascaded down and formed into Leo. "What?" he questioned looking at Prue before he noticed Phoebe, Cole and Darryl stood in the foyer, "Where's Cortez?" Darryl asked noticing Leo had orbed in alone, Leo looked at him his brow furrowed before he realised what Darryl was asking him.
"Oh the cop, I left him on the bridge I didn't know what you wanted to do with him" He responded.
"The bridge?" Phoebe asked looking over at Leo as Cole let out a slight laugh, "Oh my god Leo, the Golden Gate bridge you left the inspector on that bridge" Phoebe said getting wound up as Cole continued to laugh, "I didn't think you had it in you Leo" Cole said to him with a sly grin.
"Look, I didn't want to take him, your Grams sort of pushed me into it" He told everyone, "Besides it's a safe place that whitelighters and The Elders use to meditate it's safe for him" He explained.
"Oh great as long as you guys feel safe up there then I'm sure inspector Cortez will feel fine" Darryl said to Leo sounding slightly enraged, Prue moved between him and Leo looking to take charge of the situation. "Ok Darryl, go we said we'd take care of this and we will go about your day and we'll get Cortez back" She said to her friend as he sighed and headed out the house, "Fine but I'm not happy with this" he said to her before leaving.
Prue shut the door and headed back to the others, "Ok Leo you need to go back to that bridge and get Cortez back to where he should be, Cole I can't believe I'm saying this but please go with him to make sure the inspector gets back ok" Prue told the pair, Leo looked her taken a back.
"Prue are you being serious I can bring Cortez back perfectly fine alone" he said to her.
"Leo I know you can and I trust you" Prue replied, "But right now we're all dealing with a lot, you've just lost your wife your still grieving, and you did leave Cortez on the Golden Gate bridge all night" she carried on saying to him.
"Besides" Phoebe interjected, "Cole needs to stay on the move to confuse the bounty hunters, it would take a weight off my mind if I knew he was safe with you" she told he brother in-law before giving him a weak smile. "Fine" Leo relented, "We'll fetch him together and get him back to the station, if you need us you know what to do" he finished saying. Cole moved closer to Phoebe and kissed her, "Be careful, you might have your powers restored but you're still weakened without the power of three" he told his girlfriend.
"I know, now go and don't get into any trouble" she responded as she stood beside Prue, the pair then orbed and shimmered out of the manor.
"Right I'm going to shower, you see if you can get a location of that church mom mentioned" Prue said to Phoebe before she headed upstairs leaving Phoebe stood in the foyer alone.

Paige awoke in her small city loft to the smell of coffee, she slowly pushed the covers off her head and saw Glenn brewing them a cup each across in the small kitchenette. "Morning Paigey" he said seeing his friend staring at him from her bed, "Still not talking about last night?" he questioned somewhat knowing the answer. Paige sat up in the bed as Glenn took one cup with his good arm and giving it Paige before returning for his own and then lying beside her in the bed. "Sorry you had to have the sofa" she said to him avoiding the topic of last night before she took a sip of her coffee, "I've been back packing Paige your old sofa was no problem, besides you weren't expecting company" he replied to her, he studied her face as he slowly drank his coffee, he'd known Paige long enough to know that she was thinking about something. "Paige, look I don't want to pry, but last night we were attacked by god knows what, and you wanted to be with those women, we even went back to their house, now you haven't said a word about them since you came bursting out and got back into my car" Glenn said to her hoping to get through to his friend. "Look, let's just say when I wanted to find out who I was I didn't want to find out I was a freak" she replied to him as she put her mug on the side seeing the time of her bedside clock, "Damn, I'm late for work and I've got a big adoption case to work on with Lila today" she said, she wrapped herself in the sheets, grabbed a small pencil skirt and top from the end of the bed and headed into the bathroom.
Glenn sighed as Paige shut the door, swilling the last bit of coffee in the mug before he put it down, no sooner than she'd entered the bathroom did Paige emerge fully clothed, she threw the bedsheet back on the bed and grabbed her jacket and keys, she moved to the door in silence before turning back to Glenn. "Look stay here as long as you want today, I don't want your mom seeing you like that, drop by my work at lunch and we can talk a bit more then" she told him before she opened the door, Glenn let out a smile as he stood up from the bed. "Ok you've got yourself a deal, I'll bring the lunch" he told her, she smiled in return before she headed out shutting the door behind her.
As soon as Paige had left the lights in her loft started flickering on and off, just behind Glenn The Source flamed into the small loft, he held out his clawed hand activating his stolen power, Glenn suddenly froze in place, "Seer!" The Source bellowed before the she demon glistened in beside her master.
"My liege is this the mortal you wish to transform into?" She questioned looking at the frozen Glenn, flames engulfed The Sources body and when they dyed down he'd shapeshifted into Glenn himself, "He seems to be close to the young witch, I need his memories as my own Seer if I'm to close in on the witch" he told the she demon as he moved beside Glenn, the Seer bowed her head before she held up both her hands, purple energy came out of the left into Glenn's temple, the energy then erupted out of the right into The Sources head as she transferred all of Glenn's memories to him, the energy dyed down as The Source smirked, "Perfect, the witch is indeed vulnerable" he informed the Seer.
"And what of this mortal?" she questioned looking at the frozen Glenn, The Source looked him up and down, his eyes then glowed red before he sent out an energy blast sending Glenn flying though the bathroom door and onto the floor unconscious. "Easily remedied" he replied smirking over Glenn's body, "We'll keep the mortal as trump card" he informed the Seer, "Now let's go we have much to work on" he said to her before flaming out of the loft, the Seer then glistened out shortly behind him.

High above the city was the top of the Golden Gate Bridge, Leo orbed atop the structure followed by Cole shimmering in beside him, Cole let out a whistle looking around the top of the bridge. "No wonder you guys meditate up here, it's kind of like nirvana" he told the angel, meanwhile Leo wasn't paying attention he was looking ahead at the figure squatting in fear beside the pillar of the bridge, Cole followed his gaze and noticed the figure, who he soon realised, was a terrified Cortez. The pair slowly moved towards the inspector, "Stay back!" he shouted causing them to stop, "I don't know who or what the hell you people are but stay away from me" he told them revealing that he was holding his pistol in his shaking hand.
"Really" Cole replied, "You saw ghosts last night, and now you're on the Golden Gate bridge" he carried on saying, "Do you really think a bullet will stop us?" he questioned looking down at Cortez.
"You're not helping here Cole" Leo said to the demon.
"Oh and I suppose orbing him up here was a great help, we can't even get close to the guy" Cole was quick to retort, suddenly Cortez pulled down on the trigger of his pistol, the gun fired and the bullet headed straight for Leo, the whitelighter was quick to orb out before orbing back on the other side of Cole. "Seriously what the hell are you guys!?" Cortez shouted dropping the pistol.
"Look you don't have to understand alright" Leo told him, "But I brought you here in order to save the girls, they've just lost their sister and me my wife, to people who can't or won't understand who and what they are is important to us all" he carried on saying, "Now if you're willing to act like a reasonable person I'll take you back" he finished saying holding out his hand for Cortez.
"Look I will find out what is going on with those girls, and the only way to stop me will be to keep me here or kill me" Cortez replied sticking to his guns.
"Easily arranged" Cole said in response summoning up an energy ball into the palm of his, Cortez's eyes widened witnessing this.
"Cole enough!" Leo told him with force, "With you missing questions are going to be raised either way, so I'm going to take you back, and maybe you'll understand that you need to drop this whole thing" Leo said before he grabbed Cortez and orbed out, Cole looked at the spot where the pair had been before he sighed and then shimmered out after them.

Back the manor Prue had showered and changed, she was now in a black halter top and ash grey pants, she walked down the corridor looking for Phoebe. "Any luck on finding that church?" she questioned opening her sisters bedroom door, to her surprise the room was empty, yet she could've sworn she'd heard a door open, as she turned to walk downstairs she noticed that the door to Piper's bedroom was ajar, she slowly headed towards it, pushing it open to reveal Phoebe sat on the bed, her sister was holding onto one of Pipers blouses, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Oh Pheebs" Prue said softly as she entered the room and sat beside her sister. "Remember when I borrowed this blouse for my date that one time?" she said through her tears.
"Which date?" Prue replied with a small smile.
"The one when I got marinara sauce all down the front, Piper was so pissed I thought she was going to have an aneurysm" Phoebe kept on saying, "But it didn't last long and she said as long as I'd had a good night that's what really mattered" she kept on saying, "That's just who she was, so caring and always looking out for me helping me out my big sister, and now she's gone" she finished saying before she completely broke down in tears, Prue wrapped her arms around her baby sister and comforted her as she cried, tears forming in the corner of her eyes. "I was starting to wonder if you were ever going to completely break down" she told Phoebe as she held her.
"Well I wanted to but I was so busy trying to stay strong in front of you, and then I thought if I could get through the funeral and then everything happened with Paige" she replied sitting back up straight and taking a tissue from the bedside table to wipe her eyes with, "Now what are we going to do without her, she was always the level headed one the voice of reason" she questioned Prue.
"We're going to go and save Paige" Prue responded, "Save our sister, it's what Piper would've wanted she'd of had us bring her home, she'd have cooked and she'd welcome her and kept her safe" Prue said as she stood up, "We are the only family she has who understand what she's going through, and I'll be damned if The Source is going to take another one of my sisters from me" she told Phoebe who stood up beside her placing Pipers blouse gently onto the bed.
"Ok then, let's go and find that church" she replied as the pair left the room.

Across town at South Bay Social Services, Paige was sat in a conference room with her friend and colleague Lila; together the pair was working on organising an adoption for a set of siblings. "So, your high school friend Glenn's back right?" Lila questioned as she sorted through the files on the table, Paige stopped writing on her notepad and looked up at her, "And" she responded knowing there was going to be more to this conversation.
"And the two of you are on and off more than a light switch" Lila responded, "I'm so single it's unbelievable right now so I need to live vicariously through your life, and to do that I need to know if you two are getting hot and heavy" she said to Paige examining her friend for any tells, "Is that why you took off and didn't come back yesterday?" she questioned.
"No Lila that wasn't why at all, I had some personal business to attend to" Paige replied, a knock on the conference room door stopped their conversation as the girls boss Mr Cowan entered, "How's this paper work coming along ladies?" he asked entering the room.
"Good sir" Lila replied with a smile.
"Good that's what I like to hear, now I don't need to remind you one of our junior social workers is moving up to the senior position, that means there'll be an opening for one of you assistants" he told the two women, "High priority cases like this and others will help you out, plus we are keeping an eye on who seems truly committed" he carried on saying, "Which means Matthews no more disappearing if you're serious about moving up" he said looking over at Paige, she sheepishly lowered her head. "I am Mr Cowan, yesterday was a onetime thing something personal just came up and I lost track of everything" she told her boss.
"Ok then, well I just wanted to let you know there's a young man here at reception for you" Mr Cowan said before leaving the room.
"Well speak of the devil" Lila said with a playful smile as Paige got up to leave the room.
"It's just lunch ok, I'll be back in an hour" Paige responded as she grabbed her jacket off the chair and headed towards reception. "Hey" she greeted Glenn/The Source not knowing what had happened to her friend moments after her departure that morning. "Hi" he responded smiling at her, "How's everything going today, you manage to get anywhere with the adoption for those kids?" he questioned, The Source knew in order to get close to Paige he had to act like he was the mortal he'd shifted into. "Lila and I are getting there" she let him know, "Although she keeps asking what's going on between us and if that's why I went off yesterday" she told him.
"And what did you tell her?" The Source questioned as the pair left the building and walked through the parking lot to Paige's green VW Beetle.
"Nothing" Paige responded abruptly, "We're just friends right now, I know we kissed last night but after everything that happened post that I can't even think about that kiss" she told him as they stopped at her car.
"Speaking off last night" The Source began to say using Glenn's stolen memories as a guide, "Are we going to speak about what happened with you and the Halliwells, I know it must've been important" he said hoping Paige would open up to him.
"Damn it Glenn, I thought we were just going to have lunch, I didn't realise when I asked you that it was going to be an interrogation" she said getting agitated, she opened the driver's door to her car and got in. "Wait, Paige where are you going?" he questioned, for the first time The Source was worried, his plan was failing and he was letting Paige slip through his fingers. "I need to be alone, lunch was a mistake I'll see you tonight" she said to him before she slammed the car door, started the engine and drove off leaving The Source stood in the parking lot alone, "Damn, Seer locate where Paige will be" he said to himself knowing that his minion was listening from the underworld, he looked around to check he was still alone before he flamed out.

Paige's car came to a stop outside a small quaint church, as she turned off the engine she looked up at the building, this church had been where her adoptive parents used to bring her every Sunday, but to Paige it was also the place she'd been abandoned as a week old baby, her parents had carried on coming here telling her it had been this church that brought her into their lives. Paige stepped out of her car and made the short walk from the sidewalk to the large front door of the church, she gave a slight push as the old door opened with a creek, she made her way through the entrance, the midday sun streaming through the stain glass windows, it had been years since she'd visited this place, some weeks after her parents funeral, yet the place felt unchanged, like time stood still within those walls, she came to a stop before a nun, the only other person in the church, the woman must've been in her mid-forties stopped her duties and looked at Paige, "May I help you my dear?" she asked.
"Hi, yes" Paige replied, "I'm looking for Sister Agnes, is she still a nun here?" she questioned the nun.
"She certainly is and you're looking at her" Sister Agnes replied as with a warm smile, "And who may you be my dear?" she asked Paige.
"Oh sorry, I'm Paige, Paige Matthews" Paige told her, Sister Agnes furrowed her brow and gently shook her head, the name not ringing a bell, even though Paige had been to this church as a child and teen she'd never come into contact with nun who'd found her as a baby. "I guess I look a little different than when you last saw me, in August 1977" she told the nun, that moment the realisation hit Sister Agnes.
"Oh lord" she gasped examining Paige, "My how you've grown my dear" she told her, "What brings you here?" she questioned Paige.
"I've had a strange couple of days and I have some questions about my birth parents" Paige told the nun, it felt like a release to admit what she was truly curious about. "They said one day you would come to me again" Sister Agnes told Paige, "Come with me my dear" she said guiding Paige to the back of the church.
"They?" Paige questioned, "My mother and my father?" she asked as the pair came to a small room at the back of the church, Paige had always thought that her mother had left her at the church not both her birth parents, Sister Agnes opened the wooden door and lead Paige in before closing it behind herself. "Oh yes dear, both your mother and father came to me in bright white lights with you bundled in their arms the day they left you here" Paige's eyes widened at this news, "For you see dear you come from angels, and that is how they knew you'd return to this church" Sister Agnes told her.
"Angels" Paige said in disbelief, she'd just been told by her apparent sisters she was a witch and now a nun was telling her she was an angel.
"Yes, they came and said if you were to stay with them longer you would be in danger, your mother was so upset as she handed you to me, she told me to find you a great and loving home with one request, that your name begin with a P" Sister Agnes told her as she looked through a small wooden chest, she pulled out a knitted blanket with a large pink P sown into the corner, "She had you wrapped in this" Sister Agnes told Paige as she passed her the blanket, the moment Paige took it into her hand the door burst open and in walked Prue and Phoebe.
"Excuse me!" Sister Agnes said her voice rose higher than usual, "But just who do you think you are barging in?" She questioned the two women, Prue and Phoebe looked at one another before Phoebe spoke up, "We're Paige's sisters" she told the nun who looked shocked at this.
"Oh my heavens more angels" she said in reply.
"Hardly" Prue interjected before Phoebe gave her a small jab in the side, "May we have a word with her alone" Prue said to Sister Agnes.
"Of course my dear, I'll be attending to my duties if you need me" she said to the three women, "Oh and you may keep that" she said looking at the blanket in Paige's hand before she left; both Prue and Phoebe also noticed the blanket she was holding. "Is that our blanket?" Prue questioned as Phoebe went to hold it from the other corner, she barely laid a finger on it before she was pulled into a Premonition.
Patty and Sam orbed into the same room some twenty-four years prior, baby Paige wrapped in the blanket and held in Patty's arms, a young Sister Agnes reaches for the baby, Patty is now consumed by tears as Sam holds her in his arms and comforts her before he orbs them out leaving Sister Agnes looking down at baby Paige.
The vision ended as Paige pulled away from Phoebe holding tighter onto the blanket, Prue moved closer to her sister, knowing the signs of when she received a vision, "What was it Pheebs?" she asked.
"I saw mom and Sam, here, they were handing Paige to that nun, they were so distraught" Phoebe told Prue as Paige listened.
"You held this blanket and saw that?" Paige questioned somewhat intrigued by what she heard.
"Yes" Phoebe told her as she gave her a faint smile, "We all have powers, it was also how I found you yesterday, I foresaw that attack" she told Paige.
"What about you?" Paige asked looking over at Prue.
"I can move things with my mind" she replied.
"No you can't" Paige was quick to reply rather dismissively, Prue pointed at the candle on the desk beside Paige, she moved her index finger up as the candle floated into the air before she lowered her finger and had the candle settle back on the table. Paige was in shock as she watched, "This is unbelievable" she said to the sisters, "You said we all have a power, so what can I do if I'm really your sister?" she questioned the pair.
"Well our ancestor Melinda Warren had three powers, she could move things with her mind, have visions and stop time" Phoebe informed Paige.
"It goes to reason that since you've taken Pipers spot within the power of three that you have her power also" Prue continued saying.
"So I can stop time, how?" Paige asked, she was now truly curious to learn more about the sisters and the magic that she may have within her.
"Piper had to get scared at first" Phoebe said, "The she threw out her hands and things just froze" she carried on saying.
"Well then how will I know if I can do it?" Paige asked, she was desperate to know if she had this power.
"Like this" Prue quickly said she used her power again and sent the same candle soaring at Paige, the young woman let out a small scream as the candle came towards her, she threw up her hands dropping the blanket, instead of the candle freezing and stopping in its path however Paige orbed out, the candle continued and collided with the far wall before Paige orbed back into the room. "Ok maybe not then" Phoebe said as she looked at Paige, "Maybe because her orbing's a fear response she can't freeze" Phoebe questioned looking at Prue.
"Piper did get that new explosion power maybe that's the one she got" Prue replied.
"Hello I'm right here you know" Paige interjected getting agitated she was being ignored.
"Perfect time to try it out then" Prue said sensing the frustration in Paiges voice, she picked up the candle and placed it on a chair before Paige, "We each have a second power too" she said to Paige, "Before Piper died she'd just learnt to speed things up so fast they exploded, now focus on the candle, feel any anger you might have right now and just flick your wrist" Prue said as she moved back and stood beside Phoebe. Paige looked at the candle she mustered up the anger she felt towards being ignored and even left at this very church, she flicked her wrist and nothing the candle remained like it was mocking her, like these women were mocking her. "That's enough" she said exasperated, she picked the blanket off the floor and headed towards the door, Phoebe and Prue followed trying to stop her. "Paige stop we need to figure out your power, you need it to protect yourself" she said to her.
"Look you have powers and that's great, but I clearly don't I can't freeze and I can't explode so enough is enough!" she shouted as she threw out her free hand in frustration, suddenly a white light emitted from her palm, the chair with the candle on it was right in front of her, both were consumed by orbs and just dispersed before the trio. "Wow" Prue said a mix of shock and amazement, "Well that's new" she continued looking at Phoebe, Phoebe was still fixed on Paige who was looking at her hand in surprise, Paige then lowered her hand and just ran. "Paige" Both sisters shouted but Paige was quick, she ran through the church and out of the door, as she exited onto the street she collided with Glenn/The Source. "Paige what's wrong are you ok?" he questioned, he'd been waiting outside ever since The Seer had located her, "Not here" Paige replied opening the doors hoping Prue and Phoebe didn't exit the church soon, "Get in and I'll tell you everything" she said to Glenn/The Source as she got into the driver's seat, just then the church door opened and Prue and Phoebe came running calling her name, The Source looked at them, flames in his eyes before they turned black he smiled and entered the car his eyes normal again as Paige quickly pulled away and drove off, Prue and Phoebe both stopped watching the green VW speed off.

Darryl was busy rushing around the precinct he'd been trying to keep busy and on the move in order to avoid any of the other officers asking about inspector Cortez it had been hours since he'd stop by the manor to find out what had happened to Cortez after last night, he moved back to his desk sorting through the stack of case folders that were piled on there. As he picked up one folder he looked up at the precinct door to see Cortez storm in trailed by Leo and Cole.
Cortez marched past him and headed into one of the rooms off from the bull pen, Darryl made eye contact with Leo and Cole trying to gage what had happened before he joined the pair in following the inspector into the room. Darryl closed the door as Cortez picked up the phone on the desk and began dialling, "Cortez here, I need surveillance round the clock for a 1329 Prescott street, Halliwell Prue and Phoebe" he said to the person on the other end of the phone, "Thank you, I'll have the first watch" he said before hanging up the phone.
"What the hell Cortez?" Darryl questioned the inspector.
"I told you this is what I was going to do last night before you got me from behind, I know what I saw and now everyone else will as well" Cortez replied to Darryl. "And now that I've seen the lengths those women will go to I need that place to be under constant surveillance" he told Darryl.
"I told you we should've just left him up there on the bridge" Cole said to Leo, Leo was about to reply when he felt Prue's voice calling for him.
"The girls are calling for us" he said to Cole, "I hate to leave you with this Darryl" he said to the inspector.
"Don't worry you've been through a lot it's alright I've got this" Darryl responded before Leo and Cole checked that they were unseen and orbed and shimmered out respectively. As soon as the pair were gone Cortez left the room, Darryl straight on his heels. "Those girls have just lost their sister and now you want to ruin their lives where the hell is your humanity and compassion" he said to Cortez causing his colleague to turn and face him.
"Humanity Morris, really those women are messing with the occult and you want me to have humanity, I can't believe you, how long have you known about them and how often do you cover up for what they do?" Cortez questioned, "You're a disgrace to that badge" he said to Darryl, these words caused Darryl to see red as he grabbed Cortez by the collar and slammed him into the wall. "This is not the first time I've risked everything for those girls, my career, my family my life" Darryl said to him anger in his voice, "They do more good then you ever will and you're going to ruin everything for them" other officers had now moved over to Darryl and Cortez, making Darryl release him. "I'm good, we're good" he said to them as Cortez straightened out his clothes and headed out the precinct Darryl watching hoping that Prue and Phoebe would be safe from him.

Phoebe and Prue were sat in the manors sun room, after Paige had ran from them at the church the pair had felt somewhat defeated not to mention they were concerned about the guy that had gotten into the car with Paige he definitely possessed a demonic quality about him, as they sat thinking Leo orbed in shortly followed by Coles shimmer. "How'd it go with your sister?" Cole asked sitting down beside Phoebe.
"Well we managed to find her at the church mom mentioned lucky she was there" Phoebe told him; "Although now we've lost her again and have no idea where she could be" she added sounding slightly hopeless she then looked up at Leo, "Can you sense her, I mean surely she's your charge too right, now that she's a Charmed One?" Phoebe asked him. "Her magic's to new I can't get an exact read on her" Leo told her.
"Well not from what we saw" Prue added into the conversation causing everyone else to turn and look at her. "Care to elaborate?" Leo questioned.
"Well in the church we were trying to get her up to grips with her powers and they are nothing like Piper's like we thought they would be" Prue explained, "She can't freeze and we thought maybe she had that combustion power Piper just got, but instead she just decimated a whole chair with orbs" she continued saying recalling the events in the church, "Decimated?" Leo questioned.
"Yeah the whole chair was covered in orbs when she got mad and then poof gone" Prue told him, "Sounds like some sort of molecular dispersion to me" Cole told them, "And if it is that's a very rare and powerful power to have" he added.
"Coles right" Leo added somewhat begrudgingly, "You two need to find her and fast, if The Source gets to her then he might be able to get her to use that power for evil and we don't want that" Leo told the girls.
"And what if he already has her?" Phoebe questioned, "When she ran from the church this guy got into her car, for a split second his eyes were engulfed with flames before they went black and when he got in the car he just smiled at us" she carried on telling Leo and Cole. "If that's the case then you really need to find her, if The Source has taken a human disguise then he must really want Paige or her power" Cole replied.
"Well we're going to need to ID The Source if it's him with her" Prue said.
"Then we better go check the book, see if there's spells on IDing demons and maybe we could summon mom she helped with the church" Phoebe said to Prue, Prue wasn't in a rush to summon either her mom or grams but she knew that if it meant they could find Paige they'd have to. "Alright then let's go do it" she replied as she stood up and headed up to the book of shadows, followed by everyone else.

Paige had parked her car on the side of the road, since the incident at the church she'd been driving around in silence with Glenn in the passenger seat, she sighed as she sat back in the driver's seat turning off the engine. "What happened in there?" The Source asked, he'd been waiting for a chance to talk to Paige, he knew now when he was emotional and vulnerable that he had to strike. "Those women have turned me into some sort of freak ok" Paige said letting everything out, "We may be related but I didn't sign up to this I just wanted some answers but to still be normal and now I'm evaporating chairs" she carried on, The Source took Paiges hand in his own and rubbed it slowly.
"Look those women who ever they are, are nothing to you" he told her, "You need to focus on you, maybe this thing going on with you is good, you can have people do what you want, save so many kids and be powerful" as he told Paige this he noticed her just staring into his eyes, she was taking everything in, he was finally getting to her. "This power inside you is a gift, a message that you won't be pushed around anymore, if you want social worker then take it, take everything you want" he leaned in now brushing his free hand through Paige's hair, "Now is the time, return to the Halliwells and remove them from your life" he practically whispered the last bit before his lips made contact with Paige's and they kissed, she was now his to control, his mesmerising ways had got to her. "You're right" she replied as she started the car up again, "They did this, they changed me and there mother left me, I'm going to make them pay for everything" she said before driving off towards the manor.

In the attic Prue, Phoebe, Leo and Cole were all stood around the book trying to find a way to recognise The Source when they managed to find Paige, "Maybe when this is all over we should find a way to organise the book" Phoebe said trying to make small talk as Prue just carried on flipping through the pages.
"This could work" Prue said looking down at a page that read enchantment spell, Phoebe stood beside her sister and read over the page.
"It says we need something to enchant" Phoebe said as she moved over to the shelves at the side of the attic to see if there was anything on them that would work for the spell, "Oh these will do nicely" she said as she brought over a pair of pink sunglasses.
"Ok then" Prue said as she took Phoebes hand in her own and began chanting. "Magic forces far and wide; enchant these so those can't hide. Allow this witch to use therein, so she can reveal the evil within" the sisters chanted together, the glasses in Phoebe's hand let out a slight glow after the spell was cast, "Well try them out" Prue said as Phoebe put the sunglasses on and looked over at Leo and Prue.
"Well anything?" Prue asked.
"No nothing, maybe it didn't work" she replied as she took the glasses off.
"Give me a try" Cole told her walking in front of her, Phoebe put the glasses on again and looked up at Cole, as she did she let out a small scream, "Well?" Cole asked, as Phoebe looked at him all she could see was his demonic persona Belthazor.
"You look like hell" Phoebe told him taking the glasses off.
"Well at least you can identify The Source now if it is him with Paige" Leo told them.
"Yeah all we have to do now is find her" Prue responded as she turned the pages back to the spirit summoning spell they'd used last night.
"I'll get the candles" Leo said as he grabbed the five white candles from the table and placed them in a circle, Cole and Phoebe lit the candles as Leo placed them, as the last one was lit Prue began casting the spell. "Hear these words, hear my cry, Spirit from the other side, come to me, I summon thee. Cross now the great divide." A small wind circled the candles as swirling white lights formed into the girl's mother Patty. "Girls, what is it, what's wrong?" she asked her daughters.
"We need your help to locate Paige" Phoebe told her mother, concern spread across Patty's face as she was worried about her youngest daughter.
"Of course, but I don't know what you think I can do" Patty told them.
"Anything you can think of could help, Leo can't sense her and we know nothing about her to find her" Phoebe explained.
"Maybe there is a way to sense her" Patty replied.
"How if even her whitelighter can't?" Prue questioned her mother.
"Leo can't because she's new to the craft her bond in the power of three is weak, but maybe a whitelighter with the same blood could" Patty told the girls.
"Sam" Phoebe said, "I had a premonition today, I saw the pair of you giving Paige up" Phoebe told her mother.
"As much as it hurt me I had you girls here to keep me strong, poor Sam was alone" Patty said.
"But I thought he followed you into the afterlife after we vanquished the water demon?" Prue asked.
"He did, but The Elders saw how he aided the Charmed Ones and saved them, his reward was being given back his wings, he's a whitelighter again" Patty told them.
"Can you summon him?" Phoebe asked her mother.
"I can try" Patty replied, "Right now it's the best chance for your sister" Patty looked up at the sky before she tried to summon him, "Sam" she called, "Sam please I need you" she pleaded. A trail of orbs slowly cascaded down from the ceiling forming into Sam Wilder, Patty's former whitelighter, he hadn't changed much in the year and half since Prue and Phoebe had last seen him. "Patty?" Sam questioned before he realised everyone else in the attic, "Prue, Phoebe, Leo" he greeted them all again.
"Sam we need your help" Patty told him, "It's for our daughter" Sam's mouth dropped at this news.
"You've found her, she's come back" Sam said filled with hope.
"Prue and Phoebe need there sister and we need you to sense her" Patty told him.
"Sam we need you to be fast, we worry that Paige might be in danger, from The Source" Phoebe told him.
"Paige" Sam said hearing the name of his daughter, "That nun did find a P after all" he said to Patty who nodded at him. "I'll do the best I can for you" he told the girls, he closed his eyes and focused, he used all the power he had to use his sensing power, the thought of the baby girl that he'd held, he opened his eyes as he felt the pull. "I've got her, she's coming here" he told Prue and Phoebe.
"Right now?" Phoebe asked as Sam nodded in response.
"Ok then girls, we have to go, this is something the three of you need to do together, to affirm your bond as witches and sisters" Patty told them, "Come on Sam, there'll be a time soon we get to see Paige again" Patty told him.
"Please bring her home" Sam said to Prue and Phoebe before he orbed out of the attic.
"Blessed be my dears" Patty said to her daughters before she left in the same swirl of lights, the candles yet again being blown out.

Outside the manor, inspector Cortez sat in his unmarked car; he'd started his first watch of surveillance on the property soon after her left Morris at the precinct, as he watched he saw Paige's green VW Beetle pull up in front of the manor. In her car Paige turned to The Source, "Go in there and take your revenge on them, let them know how powerful you really are" he said to her. Paige turned off the engine and exited the car. Cortez watched as the unknown brunette exited her car and headed up the stairs to the manor, he grabbed his pistol out the glove compartment as well as a small hand held camera and got ready to get the evidence he needed on the sisters.

Prue, Phoebe, Leo and Cole had just got into the foyer as Paige burst through the front door. "What the hell?" Prue shouted to her, Phoebe grabbed the sun glasses in her pocket and put them on, she noticed a black aura radiating around Paige. "Somethings wrong she has a black aura round her" she told the others as Paige came towards her.
"You're just using me!" Paige shouted, she held up her right hand and the small glow in her palm started, Phoebe ducked down as the crystal lamp in front of her dispersed in orbs. "Hey that was moms crystal you little witch!" Prue shouted at her, she flicked her wrist using her power to send Paige to the floor, Leo ran over to Paige and grabbed her arms, "Prue, Phoebe a little help here" he called to the sisters as he tried to restrain Paige from using her powers again.
Phoebe rushed over and helped Leo keep Paige pinned to the floor, "I hope there's some kind of exorcism or something in the book of shadows" Prue said just before the lights in the foyer flickered and Glenn/The Source flamed in before her, "Who are you?" she asked him, his eyes glowed red as he blasted Prue through the foyer as she collided with the small table in the entry way. "Prue!" Phoebe shouted as she got up releasing Paige who got back on her feet looking at Glenn, had her best friend also had powers all this time too she wondered, meanwhile The Source turned to Phoebe and released another energy blast, Phoebe was quick to dodge the attack Levitating into the air as the blast went under her, she then propelled herself towards her attacker, The Source however was just as quick witted and flamed out causing Phoebe to collide with the cabinet that had been behind him, Leo and Cole ran over to her helping her sit up. The Source flamed back in as Paige just stared at him in confusion, "Glenn what's going on?" she asked him confused as to how her best friend was doing what he was.
"Don't worry Paige, together we can put these women in their place, together we're strong" he said to her holding out his hand for her. Paige looked at him as she thought about everything he'd just done, this wasn't what she wanted to do with her power, she'd always wanted to help not hurt, she quickly ran past him and joined Prue who had gotten up and stood beside Phoebe. "Looks like bloods thicker after all" she said to him.
The Source was furious he wouldn't lose to the Charmed Ones again, he summoned a fireball into the palm in his hand and launched it, Leo knocked Prue and Paige to the ground, the fireball collided with him sending him into orbs that feel to the floor. Cole now launched an energy ball at The Source, he let out a roar as the attack hit him, he was covered in flames as he dropped his disguise and transformed back into his cloaked demonic self, and a red blast came from behind his hood and hit Cole knocking him into the wall. Prue, Phoebe and Paige all stood together now before The Source, he summoned up another fireball getting ready to end it. "Leave everyone alone!" Paige shouted at him, both her hands raised as her palms began to glow as she activated her power, The Source screamed as orbs covered his body slowly, Paige began to shake as she kept up her power, her eyesight went blurry and blood slowly ran from her nose, The Source disappeared in orbs just before Paige collapsed luckily her sisters were quick to stop her fall. Black wisps filled the foyer as The Source reformed before them with a roar of pain. "Your power is impressive, but none the less I've broken the charmed circle before and I'll do it again" he told the sisters.
"My god" a voice said getting everyone's attention, at the open front door stood inspector Cortez with his camera catching everything that had happened.
"Inspector run!" Prue shouted at him but she was too late, The Source released another energy blast sending the inspector colliding with the coat hooks by the front door, as the sisters were distracted The Source flamed out making his escape, Prue ran over to Leo and shook him, "Leo people need healing come on" she said to him, the whitelighter slowly came to, as Prue helped him up and moved over to Cortez. "I guess this means evil wins again" he said to pair finding it hard to breathe.
"Not if I can help it" Leo told him holding his hands out behind the inspector and healing his wounds, afterwards Cortez reached behind him trying to feel the wound. "What did you do?" he asked when he couldn't find any wound.
"We help good people I told you" Leo said to him, Cortez got up as Phoebe called Leo over to her.
"Paige passed out and she won't come too" she told him, Cortez watched before he quietly left the manor. Leo opened out his hands and tried to heal Paige but nothing happened. "Why can't you heal her?" Prue asked, for the first time she felt a strong sense of concern for Paige, she'd just risked everything to save herself and Phoebe from The Source, "She's not injured, she over used her power" Leo told them as Cole came over to the sisters.
"I'm going to the underworld, I need to find out the damage your new sister did to The Source" he told everyone, Phoebe jumped up and embraced him.
"I know I can't stop you but please be careful, I need you to come back to me" she told him before he kissed her.
"Don't worry I'll be back as soon as I can" Cole told her before he shimmered out; Paige was now slowly coming too.
"Paige be careful ok, you used a lot of energy" Prue told her as Paige slowly sat up.
"What happened?" she asked.
"You showed The Source of all evil just how powerful you can be" Prue told her.
"And you saved us" Phoebe added as she hugged her.
"Glenn" Paige said suddenly as she got back to her feet.
"Who?" Phoebe asked her.
"My friend Glenn, the guy from last night who that Source guy was disguised as I need to know he's safe and alive" Paige told them.
"Leo could you sense him?" Prue asked turning to Leo.
"Maybe but it can be tricky to sense one mortal" Leo replied.
"Sense what's that?" Paige asked Leo.
"It's a whitelighter power; we can sense our charges to find if they're safe" Leo explained to Paige, "Well can I help?" she asked him, "I'm part whitelighter, and he's my friend can I use my half to help you sense him" she offered.
"It's worth a shot" Leo said holding his hand out for her, "You need to clear your mind and focus on your friend" Leo told her as the pair closed their eyes, "I've got him" Leo told them all, Prue took his other hand and Phoebe took Paige's before the four of them orbed out.

The foursome orbed back into Paige's loft, Paige turned on the lights and noticed Glenn lying through the broken bathroom door. "Glenn oh god" she said as she ran to her friend, Glenn let out a light groan as he tried to sit up. "Careful ok, you were attacked" she told him, as she helped him to sit up straight.
"Ouch my head, what the hell happened?" he asked, "Oh hi there" Glenn said noticing Prue, Phoebe and Leo stood behind Paige.
"We just brought Paige home, and noticed the place had been broken into, they must've caught you from behind" Prue said trying to think of a feasible excuse that Glenn would buy. "See Paige I told you this was a bad neighbourhood" Glenn said to Paige as she helped him sit on the bed.
"Yeah I know, don't you worry about that, just you sit here whilst I see everyone off" she told him as she lead the others to the door.
"Nice to meet you" Phoebe said to Glenn with a smile.
"You too" Glenn replied, Paige opened the door and the trio exited the loft.
"Will we see you soon?" Phoebe asked Paige.
"Yeah I'll stop by later when I get my car if that's ok?" she replied looking more at Prue for approval.
"Yeah sure" she replied.
"Ok then see you later I guess" Paige said, Leo took a hold Prue and Phoebe's hands and orbed them out as Paige went back into her loft.

At the SFPD precinct Darryl was still busy with paper work when Cortez entered; slowly he moved towards Darryl and carefully put the camera on his desk. "What's this?" Darryl asked the inspector.
"Everything I recorded today at the Halliwells, I've seen the good they do and I know why you protected them" he told Darryl, "I'm going to finish up on their case so they can mourn there sister in peace" he told Darryl before he started walking off.
"Cortez" Darryl called to him causing him to stop. "Thank you for this, the girls need this right now" he told him as Cortez smiled slightly and walked off, Darryl took the tape out of the camera and put it into his jacket pocket.

Back at the manor nightfall had now set in, Phoebe was sat in the lounge in her lounge wear beside the fire a cup of chamomile tea in her hand, Prue entered the room in a light blouse and lounge pants, her long hair now back in a clip. "Talk about a crazy few days" she said to Prue as her sister sat down opposite her.
"Yeah, we barely got through the funeral before everything went crazy" she replied, "Leo's filling The Elders in now" she told Phoebe.
"And what about you, now that the Charmed Ones are reconstituted?" she asked Prue.
"I'm not sure; we've helped save the innocents now for three years. It would be wrong to turn our backs on that" Prue explained her thoughts to Phoebe, "But without Piper I don't know if it'll be the same, plus our lives are hectic as it is right now with sorting all of Pipers stuff" she finished saying.
"I think we should take it all one day at a time, and we need to teach Paige as much as we can as quick as we can before The Source regroups" Phoebe said before a knock at the front door that caused the pair to get up. Phoebe opened the door to reveal Paige standing on the porch. "Hey" she greeted the women, "I feel like I should've brought you guys something like flowers or a cake" she said.
"How come?" Phoebe asked.
"Really, you guys saved my life I feel like I owe you" Paige told them.
"It's all part of being a Halliwell" Prue told her with a small smile, "Please come in" she told Paige. Paige felt a small wave of approval wash over her as she entered the manor. "So how's your friend Glenn?" Phoebe asked as Prue closed the front door behind Paige.
"He's ok, sleeping everything off right now. He leaves for Australia in a few days so we're just catching up and hanging out till then" Paige informed them.
"Well I'm glad he's doing ok after The Source" Phoebe said, "Now there's just one last thing we need to show you" she told Paige.
"What's that?" Paige asked the pair.
"Something that good magic can do" Prue replied as she led the way up towards the attic. As the girls entered Paige saw five white candles burning in a circle in front of the book they'd used the previous night. "Just stand right here" Phoebe told her as she walked over to the book with Prue, together they chanted the spirit summoning spell, the candles flickered before Paige as a swirl of white lights formed into Patty, Paige stared in awe as the woman looked at her. "Paige" Patty said to her, shock in her voice, Patty moved forward and became corporeal, she embraced Paige. "Oh my beautiful girl, welcome home" she said to her tears in her eyes.
"Mom" was all Paige could say to her in response as she embraced her, she finally had found her birth family and was holding her mother, she truly felt home.

In The Founders chambers all the members sat around the table looking into a glass bowl that showed Patty and Paige embracing in the attic. "What a day this has been" Zola said as he watched the events.
"Indeed, and what a power the young witch has, never did I think there'd be a power of three so strong" The angel of destiny added.
"Exactly why we need to find out what caused this change" Gideon said, "Stronger forces are now in play here and we need to take back control" he continued to say.
"Well I shall take my leave, like I said death waits for no man" the angel of death said as he stood up from the table, "I shall await my next summons here" he told the other members before he wisped out of the amphitheatre. "I must go too, the fate of the Charmed Ones is still uncertain and I must do much work in order to rectify these events" the angel of fate informed everyone before golden orbs surrounded her as she left. "And as for us, we shall work with the head Elders keeping order in the heavens" Zola told Gideon and Odin, "If anyone discovers the part The Founders played in these events there could be chaos, the other Elders have always been unaware of Paige's existence and we must keep up pretences".
"Agreed" Gideon and Odin replied in unison before the trio orbed out leaving the amphitheatre empty again.
