TCA CHAPTER 7. I realized officially that I'm the most horrible updater in Fanfiction history. I swear, my updating schedule is completely off the rocker and coincidentally I have no regular updates anytime. They're all irregular and… yeah. Worst of all, they all come late, at least, in my perspective.

BTW, I HAVE GOT TO REWRITE THIS THING. BUT THEN THAT WOULD SLOW UPDATES EVEN FURTHER. HEADDESK OCCURRING. DO NOT ENTER.

Oh… and also, I feel as if I have to either delete or rewrite Two Consecutive Unexpected Happenings, because from what I'm reading right now; it has got to be one of the worst story I have ever made and I feel ashamed. D: Headdesk occurring once again. Please do enter, and offer your input on what I should do about it.

Disclaimer: Don't own KHR, won't ever own it either.

For all he knew, everything was as normal as it could get in this current situation and Tsuna knew he wouldn't have it any other way.

Or so he thought; his mist guardian was going to pop in soon...perhaps? And with another of his guardian following her, Tsuna would soon be overwhelmed with the… circumstances, if he could so easily phrase it.

Chapter 7

Tsuna sighed, resting his elbow on the desk, propping up his head with his hand. This was the best scenario considering all the circumstances he had gone through. A few hours ago, he had miraculously convinced 'his' cloud guardian to believe him and what he had been through. Also, a few hours ago, he had gone through a mental breakdown… embarrassingly, in front of his aforementioned cloud guardian.

And as of now, he was feeling refreshed and relieved to be walking through the front door with some papers in one hand and two books in the other.

School had just ended, bells still ringing in his ears. Tsuna cautiously walked down the steps as he dodged some classmates and other students sitting down.

He caught snippets of the multiple conversations around. "Hey, my boyfriend-!" "Cool! Do you want to come over?" "Did you see-?"

With a steady stride, Tsuna wandered out the gates and toward the direction of the hospital he dropped Chrome off earlier. Tsuna had to admit that a part of his mind is jealous of the fact that all those people could spend their life unknowing and oblivious to the dangers of the outside world. But, nonetheless, a part of him also didn't mind that they never experienced what he had. He would never wish it upon anyone. And, there was also a part of him that pitied them, for not knowing what true, loyal friends and guardians were like.

Already falling in to a reminiscing mood, Tsuna gave another deep sigh as he walked with a slightly dejected manner towards his destination.

And that was probably why he did not take note of his Hyper Intuition tingling… until it was too late.

A tonfa hit him squarely in the head as he continued to walk in hidden misery.

Tsuna stumbled and immediately reached to rub that already growing bruise on the back of his head. "What the-!"

"Omnivore."

"Did you just demote me from a carnivore to an omnivore?"

"Hnn…"

And then Tsuna hit himself in exasperation as he realized what that 'hnn…' meant.

"Yes. That was the first thing that came in to my mind. Not 'Why did you hit me?' So, sue me." Tsuna replied sardonically as he still rubbed the aching spot.

Snarky Tsuna has come in to view after an exhausting day. What? Can you blame him?

"Hm..."

"What-? No! I do not have a concussion from your tonfa! What makes you think I have a concussion?!"

"Hrn."

"Wha-? I am not acting weird! What makes you say that?!"

"Hmph."

"Well, excuse me, Mr. I-can't-speak-normal-human-talk! I don't think you're one to judge! Just because I'm being sarcastic does not mean I'm being weird!"

As it was, after awhile, Tsuna has become used to the so-called Hibari-speak. And, also, after a brief while with Primo and his guardians, Tsuna has also learned how sarcasm was super useful to deal with some of their antics… and in this case, some useless inquiries as well, at least according to Tsuna.

"Hmn..."

"Look. I won't judge you, if you don't judge me. I know we're from different dimensions, so-"

"There."

Tsuna sighed exasperatedly, "So now, you're going to use human talk? I mean, where was that a few seconds ago? You-"

"Look."

"Hey! Stop cutting me off- … Hibari-san?" And as it seems, Tsuna found that his companion was gone. "Wha-? Where- Oh…"

Tsuna trailed off as he took note of what the cloud guardian said a little earlier and ran towards the crowd of people, following the skylark.

Once Tsuna cleared his way through the crowd, he let out a tiny gasp before flying down to support his mist guardian. "Chrome…"

Chrome's eyes flickered upwards as she let out a shallow and shaky breath. "Boss…"

He absentmindedly noticed that the crowd was dispersing ever so quickly and internally thanked the other. "Chrome… are you okay?"

Tsuna quickly winced at the wording; of course, she was not okay. But despite that,

"Thank… you, boss. I am… well."

"No, you're not." Tsuna quickly said shakily and muttered, "Rest, I'll carry you."

Where? He didn't have a clue. Tsuna just had to say that for his mist guardian's sake, as she was literally drooping with exhaustion. Considering how far she made it out of the hospital and with life-threatening injuries no less before that, she should have been unconscious by now.

But then again, she was one of his guardians. And Tsuna smiled fondly, they were the strongest people he knew, in more ways than one. As Tsuna reached to position her on his back, another set of hands helped.

Tsuna had momentarily forgotten about the skylark staying around and Tsuna gave a shaky grin to his other companion before giving a small "thanks."

As he hastily thought through all the possible options to go to, where Chrome could rest, Tsuna realized that the only plausible place was back at his mother's place. Assuming that she lived there in this dimension, Tsuna knew that he would have to confront her sooner or later, and he would rather have sooner rather than later.

With that thought in mind, he turned to walk in that direction. His hyper intuition informed him of the cloud guardian still trailing him, and with a temporary smile on his face, Tsuna gave him a nod, indicating that Chrome was resting and she probably won't freak out about him.

"So… uh, sorry for that…" Tsuna realized that he didn't know what exactly to refer his sarcasm earlier and settled on, "Sorry for that earlier." He didn't offer an explanation although he knew that Hibari understood the moment he was like that.

Hibari gave a barely noticeable nod in Tsuna's direction, meaning he did understand and kept walking.

"Uh, not that I mind, why are you here anyways?" Tsuna couldn't help but ask in curiosity because Hibari had followed him from the school to halfway to the hospital and then in another direction entirely.

The raven-haired boy did not answer as he trailed silently.

Tsuna took that answer in stride, realizing that maybe, probably; the guardian was concerned about him.

He smiled to himself at the thought as a warm feeling spread in his body.

It was nice to have someone who understood.

Well, I'm writing this at 3 am in the morning. Well, starting from 2:30 am to now… which is 5:18 am. Well, shoot. It's been five days already for me returning from being halfway across the world from home, and you would think that I had gotten over my jetlag. Please excuse the grammar or spelling mistakes that might appear. I'm sleep deprived. And I should really go to sleep right about now. Merp. Oh and before I forget, does Tsuna seem OOC to you? To me, I think he does. Damn it, I think I'm losing the touch with KHR characters. Headdesk. Do not enter, unless to tell me if he's OOC or not. I'm pretty damn sure he is though.

Thank you for reading all the way to the end. I really do appreciate that you read this chapter… and the rest of the story. :)
