Author's Note:

I made this fic based on the Panic Room. I did not make it to try to write a scary fic. I made it because I hated the movie and thought the writers could've done a lot better. Although not trying to do any better myself. In my opinion, those two girls were the two most horrid actresses on the planet. When they try to act together on a set as mother and daughter…, that just killed the whole movie. I hope you enjoy the read. Even if it only serves to give you a good laugh.

How About the Flat, Instead?

Marshall sat down after he wiped the sweat off his forehead. He looked a lot better than this morning. His mom sighed as she came at him with a glass of water in her hand.

"You okay now, honey?" she asked as she handed him the cold water.

"Yeah." Marshall said as he lifted the glass to his mouth and drank.

"Maybe I should just do the rest of the packing on my own." Red said as she pulled at her hair. Her hazel eyes were filling with worried tears.

"Mom, c'mon." the young youth said as he smiled up at his mom. "It was an accident." He said as he looked at his arms. "I promise I'll keep better track of my shit from now on." He said as he got up shakily and hugged the red head.

"Marshall, it was my fault, dear." She said as she held him tight. "I don't want anything to happen to you. This is a very serious—"

"—Mom I'm telling you," the boy said as he looked frantically up at his mom. "I wanna help you, and you have no say in this!" he said as he kissed her forehead. "We just lost track of the time, and things got a little out of hand." Marshall said as he let go of his mother and walked over to the window. "You can't not take my help." He said smiling. "You and I both wanna be outta here as soon as possible. You know we can actually move in by night fall today if we plan this out." He said as he formed a plan in his head. "C'mon, ma." He cheered. "We'll be out of South Park in a matter of time. It'll be great." He said smiling.

"Okay. Let's just finish packing and see how far we can get. Want some food first, love?" she asked worried.
