A/N: This story will focus mainly on the marauders, Snape and the marauderettes in the first wizarding war. The marauderettes is the name of the group of Marlene, Mary, Lily, Dorcas, and once, Lisa.

Sirius stared down at the body of Lisa Marr, his schoolfriend. The fifth Marauderette. Marlene was knelt by his side.

"The war has begun," She whispered, tears falling softly down her red cheeks. She placed her hand in Sirius'. They saw Mary, Dorcas and Lily coming towards the body with James, Remus and Peter in pursuit.

"We know what this means, right?" Dorcas asked, shaking. The group nodded. Lily swallowed back tears and took a deep breath.

"We will fight," She whispered, "for Lisa and the rest of the dead's sake," The group nodded in agreement. Mary wiped her tears away.

"We will fight," She announced, "to the death."
