Welcome to Sherlock's Alphabet! There shall be 26 Alphabet Oneshots (one for every letter! :D )

Every Oneshot is based of a "Theme Word" that starts with the letter of the Alphabet we are on!Each Oneshot must end with the "Theme Word", and every letter of that "Theme Word" is worth one hundred words of writing that is available.

These oneshots aren't connected in general, but I suspect I will connect a double oneshot from time to time.

Without further ado- The Sherlock Alphabet!

Sherlock Alphabet: A for Alone

Alone = 5 letters =500 words.

"No no NO! We HAD him!" Sherlock yelled in a fit of rage, throwing his flashlight on the moist, pitch-black concrete.

"But we…we know where he's going." John panted, recovering from their recent chase. The second they chased the criminal outside the abandoned warehouse, he was in a car and speeding away. "Right?"

"No, noooo no no no no no," The tall detective began pacing back and forth hurriedly, out of breath as well. "he is much…much too clever, he knows we are aware of his destination, so he changed it at the last minute. He could be going to the other side of city for all know…we LOST him! Grahhhhh, we were so CLOSE!"

"Sherlock we should probably get out of the middle of the road-"John suggested, beginning to become suspicious of the oddly empty street.

"NO, John, this was where we last saw him, this site is just as helpful as the evidence found in a crime scene…"

John began pacing as well. Despite making fun of his flatmate's habits, he seemed to be picking them up himself. "How do you figure? He got into his car and his coiffure drove him away, what else is there to-"

Sherlock sighed and immediately knelt down, studying what the ground had to offer. "Our culprits' 'coiffure' turned approximately one hundred thirty five degrees before speeding off at fifty five miles per hour, judging by the tire track's pattern and organic movement." He slid his slender gloved hand across the tracks and rubbed his thumb and index finger together. "The soil residue is red, this narrows his previous locations down considerably, taking into account the unique color of this dirt is found only in three possible locations within a five kilometer radius of his preceding hideout –he needed his accomplices close-" Sherlock stood, still not missing a beat, " – we were aware of two other people helping his plot, how many people were in the car, John?" he turned to the doctor, who's eyes widened in realization.

"Five…" he mumbled, still being wary of possible oncoming cars.

"Five," Sherlock began, his mind processing this information and deducing it within mere seconds. "Five, John, five…this means he isn't alone in this…" His face melted into an expression of satisfaction and excitement. "Ohh…OOHHH this is brilliant!"

"What? What's brilliant?"

"He isn't ALONE, John!" Sherlock stated, wanting to let John figure this one out himself.

"Of course he's not, he couldn't pull off these dangerous stunts without some form of help,"

"Not some, John-" Sherlock began hinting.

"-oh god, he's got an army of little minions, doesn't he?" John rubbed his face and chuckled nervously. "How the Hell are we going to stop of them, Sherlock? We could be surrounded for all we know!" John sighed.

"Indeed we could, John…" Sherlock said, turning towards the sound of Lestrade's police car sirens that were growing louder. He smiled, "But like him, we're not alone."
