It's the last chapter you guys! I am so happy to be able to bring you the finale of Under the L.A Sun. It's been a long road not only for the characters but for me also and I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has supported this story from the beginning or even the people who started to follow it towards the end. I have grown in my narrative and sharing this story has brought joy to my life to expand my imagination and take it to new heights. I really love you all and now I am going to shut up so you can enjoy the last chapter and see whether Edward and Bella end up together or not.

What is that noise?
I didn't know how to deduce where those sounds were coming until the blackness I was in was illuminated into a small ray of sunshine that was coming in from a window.
Bzzzz…
I couldn't possibly ignore that sound since my sleep was now interrupted; I moved slowly and realized that I was against a lean figure holding me from the waist and my left cheek felt warm. I eyes opened and I saw Edward's face that was still in a deep sleep, I couldn't help but smile at the man that had his mouth slightly open and breathing in a systematic but also peaceful rhythm. I move the hand that was lying on his chest to touch his face…
Bzzzz…
That noise again! And since I was in a conscious state I figure out that the sound was coming from my clutch which contained my cellphone. I didn't want to answer but maybe it was my mom or even Kate. The last thing I needed is for them to freak out about my absent, or worse, figure out that I was with Edward. So in a very delicate manner I untangle myself from Edward and get out of the bed leaving the covers on top of him and leaving me in my natural to answer the phone call.
"umm hello…" The low voice was going to give me away but I still needed to make sure I didn't wake Edward up.
"Bella! I've been calling you all night!" I felt my blood run cold and my cheeks heat up in pure shame. It was Ben. The man I am dating and the person I made a fool of by sleeping with my ex.
"Bella…Are you there? Hello".
"Oh Ben, I'm sorry, I got distracted for a moment".
"For a moment?" he laughs at my answers. "I've been calling you since yesterday and I was getting worried because you didn't come back to the hotel last night"
I ran to the bathroom so the sound of my voice wouldn't be so loud.
"I didn't mean to cause you any concerned feelings but I decided to come stay at my mother's hotel since it was too late for me to go back to the hotel, it was closer to the venue" I was giving half ass explanations but it was something. "But wait a minute. How do you know that I didn't go back to my hotel room?".
"I came to Dubai to surprise you sweetheart. Now the surprise is ruined since I went to the wedding and didn't find you there so I came to your hotel to wait for your arrival".
"You…you're in Dubai" I asked trying to hide my disbelief by what he was telling me. He was at the wedding and now he was waiting for me at my hotel room.
"Of course, I was missing my girlfriend too much and I don't care about your ex-husband being there. That is the past and we are the future Bella. You already know that I love you and I want to marry as soon as your divorce is finalized".
Divorce.
Those words washed over me like a bucket of freezing cold water. What happened with Edward wasn't my reality and now I felt like an idiot because I deceived a man that had his heart in the right places. The more I heard Bens voice in my ear the more I felt my feet being placed on solid ground.
"Why don't you come back because it's already eight in the morning and I'm sure you don't have any clothes with you".
I don't even have any clothes on me.
"Ben you shouldn't have come" I was mad at him but I was madder at myself for even letting this happen in the first place.
"I couldn't wait for you any longer baby. Staying at home was making me mad not to mention the eminent reunion between you and Edward. The combination of the two made me come and get you".
"I don't need saving Ben, this was a family event and a special day for a person who is a dear friend of mine no matter if she's Edwards cousin or not".
"I didn't mean to get you riled up honey. I'm sorry". I took a deep breath at the apology he was giving me and looked outside the bathroom door to see Edward still sleeping on his side holding a pillow against his chest.
"Don't leave the hotel until I get there Ben". The last thing I need is for Alexa or anyone from my family or Edward's family to see you" I couldn't let him call my mother to back check the specifics about my whereabouts.
"I won't move from here until you get here but don't take too long because I have a great day planned for us. It involves a Jacuzzi and a couple's massage session"
"We'll talk when I get there. I really need to go so I can get to the hotel as soon as possible".
"I love you Bella" his amorous confessions made me want to cry and just crawl up in a corner, not only considering the fact that I had just slept with Edward last night but takin into an account that this relationship with Ben wasn't going to work by the lack of receptivity on my part.
"I'll see you later" I needed to end the call.
"Bye baby"
He hung up and the only thing I could do was cry at the misery of the situation. Thing seemed to clear up between Edward and I, our night together provided us with the conversation required and the closeness we've been craving. I was unsure of my next move, was I to leave Edward here and run off or stay here and tell him that I had end things with him and Ben for good?
Alexa Pov
I woke up at seven in the morning by the sound of a door closing. It was perhaps Bella coming back from her night with Edward.
"Kate wake up!" I shook her as she slept besides me.
"Lex I'm sleeping…We went to bed like a four am and I really can't right now…"
"Kate, stop being lazy…" I shake her once more before she turns her body towards me.
"She must be exhausted if getting in at this hour. We will check up on her later" and with that response she covers her face with the white sheet.
"Such a back accomplice, I'll check on her then maybe she will tell me everything since we obviously noticed her lack of presence yesterday at the wedding" I pull the blankets off me and put on my flip flops. I look like a mess but I'm guessing that everyone in this hotel room look like me after a night of chaotic activities.
I open the bedroom door that lead into the living room to see a tall shadow, definitely not her. It looked like a man was in her room.
"Bella?" I was kind of frightened at the anticipation of who it might be and I was too tired to deal with an intruder at this hour.
"Close..." I heard a man's voice speak out. "My name is Ben, your sister's faithful boyfriend"
So it was an intruder by the name of boring Ben and he was in my hotel room, looking for Bella.
"What are you doing here Ben?"
"Well since you guys threw me out of the party last night. I had decided to wake up early today to come and visit your sister" he smiles and takes a comfortable seat on the couch.
"You aren't even supposed to be here. My sister already told you that in L.A"
"I missed my girlfriend. Is that a crime?"
"I just think it's very inappropriate for you to come to an event you had no invitation to and now you gain access to our room scaring the crap out of me and snooping through Bella's things for clues".
"I was searching through her things sis and since you have all of the arguments ready to go. Tell me, where is she?"
That sarcastic tone he was using on me really made me want to tell that his girlfriend had a wonderful night with her husband and the love of her life. I think god was on his side because I decided to keep my mouth shut and leave the surprise for when Bella dumps him and gets back with Edward.
"I don't know. Why don't you call her? She is a big girl" I smile which makes his smirk disappear in an instant.
"I will do just that but I'll wait here for a couple of hours before I call her. You should go back to bed because you REALLY need your beauty sleep".
ASSHOLE!
"You go ahead and wait for your girl here. I have lost my interest on this visit" I turn to leave.
"Wait" He shouts.
"What?" I snort
"I want to make this clear for you and your family Alexa. I pretty sure that you guys don't like and I am the person that is ruining the chance for Edward and Bella to reconcile but you need to comprehend that the past in the past and I am the future. I will ask for your sisters hand in marriage very soon and I will be your new brother in law and you will have new sisters in laws to be besties with so don't make your sister upset because I will take her very far away from you all".
The audacity of this man was something else. I almost wished there were security cameras to capture this moment.
"Am I clear Alexa?"
"Crystal" I responde
"Perfect. Now you can leave, the only person I want to see is not here yet and I don't want to be distracted by your presence".
"Trust me I think my wondering eyes and thoughts are the least of your problems" I close the bedroom door on him.
"Hell will freeze for that man to become my brother in law" I comment while getting back into bed.
"Did you talk to her?" Kate asks
"It wasn't Bella. It was Ben"
"What the hell is he doing here?" I certainly got Kates attention.
"The piece of crap totally belittled me and is going to wait for Bella to come back. He is literally waiting for her in the living room and he's going to call her later like the total stalker that he is".
"It's like we can't get rid of him. Did tell him anything?" she was referring to Edward and Bella being together.
"Of course not, the last thing we need right now is a fight breaking out".
"He is going to ruin everything if he stays"
"His goal is to marry my sister and he will stop at nothing to achieve that goal".
Bella Pov
I was officially a coward with no back bone to save me. After the call with Ben I thought about staying and talking to Edward about what had happen yesterday but now I was in a car heading back my hotel with tears running down my face. There was no excuse for what I had just done and I know that Edward deserves more than me crawling out of bed, putting up my clothes and running off as if what we shared last night was only a one night stand mistake between two strangers.
I arrived back to my hotel looking like a total mess and my body felt like jell-o from yesterday's strenuous activities.
"Baby you're back" it wasn't two seconds after I opened the hotel room door that Ben came in running to hug me. It felt strange and very awkward next to the fact that I had just technically cheated on him with my ex-husband who was probably still sleeping.
"Hi…"
"Oh baby I missed you so much. You have no idea; I was actually talking to your sister about your absence" Oh god… What would Alexa have told him?
"Umm…Did she say anything?" I said in subtle tone.
"No, which made me even more worried but now you're here and I want us to enjoy Dubai before we go back to the home" He said without commenting about my swollen face or the tears that were now drying against my cheek.
"Ben I told you we would talk when I came back and now that we are here you need to tell me why you came"
"I had discussed this Bella, I missed you too much. You are the woman I've been waiting for and I didn't want to wait another second to be with you. Don't be mad at me for not listening to your instructions but I get so worried when you have to be around your ex-husband" he explained, making me want to crawl up and die.
"You already know what happened Ben and to be honest it's insulting that you don't trust me enough to leave me on my own for one weekend" The dress I was wearing was starting to itch causing me to walk into my room and into the bathroom leaving the door slightly open to continue with this discussion.
Don't worry, Ben has never seen me naked and I wasn't going to start now, being stared at by two men in less than 48 hours are not in my plans.
"So you were at the wedding?" I asked
"Yes but I left after I didn't find. I did chat with your mother before I did. It was lovely as always" My mother was nice to him? "So did you see him?"
"See who?"
"Your ex" he snorted
"Of course I did Ben, it was his cousins wedding after all. I think he would have been more surprised to see me than the opposite".
"Did he try to pull something on you?" I pull the lash of my robe too tight, taking my breath away.
"He was a gentlemen and he didn't do anything so calm down" I know what I was saying was a lie, nevertheless, I was the one that approached him first and it worked because we ended up having a consensual encounter.
"I'm always going to protective of you baby. You are the most important thing in my life and I'm so fortunate to have you as my girlfriend" he approaches me after I come out of the bathroom taking my face into his hands and lightly kisses me.
Ben has his mood swings that sometimes make me wonder about his true intentions, however, he ends up saying and doing very sweet things that make me feel like a total idiot for not reciprocating the feeling or romantic gestures.
Edward Pov
I felt like I was in heaven, a wonderful sleep with the woman that I love right beside me again. Last night taught me something about our relationship that I had never considered…the liberating feeling of shouting for the truth. Bella and I had always retained out true thoughts in order to not offend each other with our fears and I'm not saying that shouting at each other was good in every fight or situation but what happened last night was necessary and I think it made us see our marriage in a new light. I understood Bella and as did she, which lead us to make love with no fears or expectations. We gave ourselves in a different way.
The sun was starting to shine uncomfortably in my face forcing me to twist my head towards the shadow and opening my eyes. I expected to see my wife still sleeping with her hair tangled against the pillow. On the other hand, I found an empty space with only the dent of her body thanks to the memory foam of the mattress.
"Bella" I whispered then I decided to call her out loud
No response.
After a couple of times I jumped out of bed without a care in the world that I was naked to go find her myself. I went to the bathroom, living room and back to the bedroom where there was no sign of her to be seen. She was gone.
She disappeared as if nothing happened between us yesterday. She ran once again for reasons this time I really couldn't explain or apologize for her. The feeling that course through my body were less than pleasant and now I was only angry at her for embarrassing me this way after she promised me she would stay even after our lovemaking.
Flashback
"Bella, I am only going to ask you once" "Do you love me?"
She nods.
"Look me in the eye and say that you love me" I pull her up from where she was sitting and into my arms to receive her answer.
"I love you…" she says quietly
When I hear those special words come out of her mouth I made sure to cover that mouth with my own, a mouth that has told her that quote since the day that I met her. She was the love of my life and the woman I couldn't live my life without.
Before I really got into it I made sure to make myself clear to her about my purpose.
"I am going to make love to you Bella and if you don't want to stay with me. I can take you back to the hotel but if you chose to stay, you can't have regrets afterwards" my face was stoned because I really was going to make her mine again and she couldn't turn back on her answer.
"I need you" she insisted.
With that I had the total confidence to give her one long kiss before making my intentions with her a reality.
End of the flashback
I couldn't contain my anger after remembering her demeanor yesterday and the one that showed up today (or didn't show up I might say), causing me to throw a glass sculpture that sat on my bedside against the wall. She broke her promise and what she said to me yesterday really wasn't the truth, just a way to manipulate my feelings for a one night fling and you know what…
I'm officially done.
Bella Pov
The depression was taking over me as the day went by and I couldn't stop thinking about Edward and his reaction to waking up and not seeing me next to him. I felt like a horrible person and spending the day with Ben wasn't making things easier. The last thing I wanted right now was to go shopping or on a yacht but I did it to cover up yesterday's track.
"I'm leaving in a couple of hours…Are you sure you don't want to come with me?" Ben offered as we talked in front of the hotel entrance. He was dropping me off after the most nauseating car ride through the dessert. How is that a fun activity to do in Dubai?
"I'm sure. I came with my sister and I plan on going back to L.A with her. I told my mom that I would keep an eye on her so we are going to travel tomorrow morning" I insisted
"That's fine baby. I'll see you back home. I had the best time with you today and I love you" He kisses me in a public place where I have no doubt that paparazzi got his thousand dollar profit for the day.
"Bye Ben" He waves and gets into the car that would take him straight to the airport.
I went back to the bungalow where Lex and Kate were packing up to leave tomorrow and I knew I had to have a talk with them after what happened yesterday.
"Hey guys" I walk into their room.
"Hey bells, did you say your goodbyes to boring Ben?" Lex asks without looking at me. Something was definitely up with her and I am probably the reason why.
"I did. I was just thinking that we should grab some dinner since it's our last night here" I look at Kate who sweetly nodded
"How about you Lex?" I needed a response from the other half of this dynamic duo. The silence was momentary then she decided to turn and look at me.
"Sure and while we're at it you can tell us where you spent the night because we all know you didn't spend it at mom's hotel"
I knew I wasn't going to leave Dubai with this secret in my hands.
We wanted to go somewhere casual that didn't require a dress code so we opted to go to have dinner at a nearby hotel that had a restaurant called Brassiere 2.0. When we got there we didn't have to wait for a waiter or for the food to arrive since it was a buffet service. Lex and Kate went wild since they had been starving all day; I wasn't so hungry since I had some explaining to do.
"Are the burgers good?" I started to make conversation with them as they were munching on their handmade burgers with caramelized onion and accompanied with fries on the side.
"Don't start Bella. Where were you yesterday?" Lex left no time to grill me
"Don't you want to eat first?" I already felt my head starting to spin in circles.
"We can eat and listen, plus we already know but we want to hear it from you" Kate added
"What do you mean you already know?" I'm I missing something here.
"Oh come on Bella, We saw you two leave together and you were lucky mom didn't catch you first" Alexa described
"So you know I was with Edward last night?"
"Of course we knew Bella! That was the whole reason why we didn't freak out about your unsuspected disappearance yesterday. We actually saved you from mom and Esme because they were asking for you too but we ended covering for you guys and telling them that Edward got caught up with his jetlag and that you were exhausted from all the dancing".
"Thank you for that" They were sneaky but beautiful sneaky girls.
"Now that we came clean, you have the duty to tell us everything and when I say everything I mean every single thing. Including the reason why you went out with Ben after being with my brother last night"
I take a deep breath before starting the story from the beginning.
"Aww…Bella, why did you do that to him?" Kate sighed
"I freaked out. Ben had just called me and Edward was still sleeping. My mind got scrabbled and I panicked. Trust me I feel like an idiot for doing that to your brother and I'm even madder at myself for not confronting the situation"
"But what's the plan? What are going to do with Edward and with ben?"
"I am going to stay away from your brother because he probably hates me right now for all the right motives and I'm going to break up with Ben cause it's just not moral for me to continue to be in a relationship where the feelings aren't mutual"
"I'm glad that you are getting rid of Ben and I really don't care where he ends up but Why can't you and Edward just be together already and forget about that stupid divorce?" Lex argues with me.
"It doesn't work that way Lex, we still have lots of issues to deal with and after what happened this morning. I don't think he wants me anymore"
"Don't go through this divorce if it's something that the both of you don't want. It would be the biggest mistake ever made"
"Come on Bella"
"No, I ran and it's my responsibility to assume my mistakes. If your brother still wants me he will have to tell me."
"So you are going to stay silent and let this divorce go through"
"If he wants it than yes and I don't want the two of you to interfere. You have to keep this secret between us" I look at them and after a long pause they both nod.
Edward deserves to be happy.
Edward Pov
I was back in Italy by Monday and I immediately put myself to work and focus on that to forget about the broken heart I've been carrying. I felt like a failure as a husband and as a man but as vowed to my decision to not pursue Bella since she was the one that once again ran out of our relationship out of fear even after i showed her how much love I have for her and the control she has over me.
Bella Pov
My life back in L.A was kicking me in the hardest spots. After we got back I had lots of projects lined and I had to do them all with an exhausted mind and broken heart. Edward hadn't chased me down and in a few days of silence I got the message that our relationship was officially over.
I did follow through on my other plans to break up with Ben and let's just say it didn't go over so well because he refuses to believe it and is now harassing me everywhere I go.
"Steven turn on the T.V please" I was in the middle of getting my hair and makeup done for a new Pantene commercial I was going to shoot today when my publicist Leila bursts in. It was on NBC news.
Today Benjamin Davis from the Davis Oil Empire has been arrested, charged with aggravated assault. The tycoon had punched a prostitute he was seeing in the face after she tried to charge him for her services. Davis was intoxicated at the time and after raiding his apartment the police have also found incriminating documentation that would link his family and their company to illegal activities involving money laundering and tax invasion. We will have more information on this arrest on our 5 pm segment.
"OMG!" Ben was capable enough to punch a woman in the face.
"And to think you were dating that piece of shit" Leila snarled.
Eight weeks later…
Renee Pov
The Christmas season upon us and I was excited because of friend of mine invited my family to go to an ugly sweater Christmas party at her lovely home in Calabasas. Lots of people were going to be there including Esme and her family, which meant another possible encounter between my daughter and her estranged husband Edward. Dubai was an utter failure since they never saw each other and now their divorce was close to finalizing by the first week of the New Year. The only thing left were the signatures.
Carole Pov
My granddaughter Bella is going to visit me today and with her hectic schedule I felt blessed for her to have the time to see me, considering her 10 hour days and plus with an impending divorce. I am sometimes a pain in the ass but I love her soo much.
"How's work Bella"
"It's going nana, I have a new movie project which means that I will be living in Canada for the next six months but you guys know that I'll be coming back and forth"
"I haven't seen you in a while. It's been like a month without a visit" I wanted to make her feel bad.
"Nana I call you all the time"
"That's not enough and now that I'm looking at you, you look different" I couldn't help but notice that she put on some weight and her face looked tired out.
"I've been having a lot of work and maybe I haven't been following my diet since my hours are sporadic" "I feel fine" she concluded
I don't believe her, she looks different and I don't know if she looks good in a good way or in a bad way but there is only one way to find out. My antennas were up and I was 99 per cent sure of what I was thinking.
"Let me get our food" I stood up
"I can get it"
"You need to sit back down!" I push her back down into her chair in the dining room and headed to the kitchen.
"You can't wait for a minute, can you Carole?" Angelique reprimands me.
"Did you the chef make spaghetti with tuna?"
"Of course I did, they're Bella's favorite" The only thing I did was nod in approval and now it was the moment of truth.
"Here you go sweetheart. Your favorite" Angelique put the plate down in front of Bella.
By the time we all sit down with our meal the only thing I could do was to look at my granddaughter's reaction to the food. I saw her nose shudder from the smell and her fork hesitate to pick up some of the spaghetti, after that it was all confirmed she took a bite and headed straight towards the bathroom to put the food where she thought it belonged…In the toilet.
My granddaughter is pregnant and she was hiding it from everyone. Angelique with her maternal instinct went running to her side but of course my little liar told her that it was perhaps a little food poisoning since she went to a sushi place for dinner last night. I wasn't going to tell her because I haven't been in her life in a while but I did know a person who could use this information.
Renee Pov
"Mother!"
"I'm in the kitchen Renee!" she shouts out.
I walk towards her and set my purse down to greet her.
"Hi mother" I try to kiss her but she moves away.
"Sit down Renee" she orders
"Let me just get my notebook because I need to know if you're coming with us to the Diana's Christmas eve party or if you and Angelique are going on your own so I can send a car for you" I dig through my bag to find it.
"Don't forget to write down that Bella is pregnant so it won't go over your head" she bluntly says causing me to drop my pen.
"Excuse me…"
"Your daughter is pregnant Renee"
"But wait…how…what…"
"Jesus Renee, Bella was here yesterday to have some lunch with me and Angelique. She looked different and after we gave her what should be her favorite food spaghetti with Tuna she ended up throwing up in the bathroom. She is pregnant and when I'm sure it's because I'm right"
"There is no way…" I'm still shocked by her confession.
"Close your mouth Renee and accept it. Bella is pregnant and Ben is the father" "I could only assume since it was the last man she was dating. It's unfortunate since that bastard is in jail and she is now getting a divorce from the man she should've been pregnant with".
"No no no"
"If you don't believe me than go do some of your own investigation" She puts a glass of water out for me. "And as for the car ride, I will meet you there. Send the car at 8 pm"
I didn't want to believe her. My daughter pregnant by that untrustworthy pig, I can't swallow it.
I was driving back to my house, I needed to collect my thought and figure out how long she's been pregnant since she wasn't showing yet. She had to be just a few weeks pregnant for no one to notice but now tracing back to her former partner, did she sleep with Ben within the time stipulated because the last time she was around him was at Jennifer's wedding….but then Edward was there also…but then again they didn't see each other…or did they? The only people who would know are Alexa and Kate and I wasn't going to waste time figuring it out on my own.
"Renee, why do we need to talk to the girls?" we head up towards my daughters room for an interrogation.
"You'll find out soon enough Esme" I open the door into her room.
"Mom! Do you knock anymore?" They were both lying down on the floor listening to music and not doing their homework.
"Alexa! We need to talk to the both of you"
"What is it?" she asks
"Tell me again where Bella and Edward were the night of Jennifer's Wedding"
"We already told you guys" Kate starts fidgeting which leads me believe that what they had told us was a lie.
"Why are you nervous all of a sudden? In a time frame at what time did they both leave"
"Maybe like 20 minutes apart…" my daughter is good liar but she's going to make it out of this one.
"I want you to swear on your sister that what you are telling me is the truth" I countered.
"Ummm"
"Since you two lied to us, I want the truth about what you saw that night because I went to your grandmother's house this morning and she told me that Bella is pregnant as a matter of fact she's been pregnant for a while now and she hasn't told anyone" I spoke out as they all gasp.
"What do you mean Renee?"
"Esme, Bella is pregnant and she could have been with Edward that night even though Ben was there at the same time"
"Mom are you sure?"
"Of course I'm sure Alexa and I want to know if I can say that Edward is the father of the child that she is carrying or if it's Ben's"
"NOOO" They both scream out in unison.
"Look mom we weren't supposed to tell you but Edward and Bella left early and spent the night together at his hotel. She left the next day and she made us promise not to tell anyone. Bella never slept with Ben because she is still in love with Edward" How did they not tell us.
"Alexa, this is serious. Your sister is pregnant and is going to divorce the man that she loves and the father of her child"
"We are sorry mom but we were sworn in. now that we know we have to stop them before they make a mistake"
"We will but you are both grounded for two weeks" I sternly told them but at the end we all smile and hug each other because our Bella and Edward are going to be parents.
Bella Pov
The papers were sign on my behalf and now it was a waiting game for Edward to sign his for this all to be over.
Edward Pov
I received the divorce papers on fax and as I read the clauses for the final time I put my name in bold to close this chapter of our life together and let her free, setting the papers to the side so I can fax them back to my lawyers.
My phone rings. It was my mother.
"Hi mom"
"Edward! Honey! How are you?" she sounds chipper and it's already night time back in the U.S
"I'm good. At work"
"At what time does your flight come in?" I was going to visit my family for the holidays and my flight was today.
"Around 6 pm, I still need to get some paper work here before I leave"
"Speaking of papers…Did you get the divorce papers honey?" she sounded very curious but I mean that is her behavior all the time.
"I did, I already signed them and I'm about to send them…"
"Don't!" she squeaks, causing me to almost lose my left ear drum.
"I mean why you don't give her the papers personally. She's been talking about receiving them and she can't wait to have them in her hands"
"I don't think it's a good idea to see her" it was a really bad idea for my heart.
"She is excited to see you and those papers at Diana's Christmas party on Saturday and even though you guys are getting a divorce she still wants to stay good friends with you. Don't miss the opportunity…"
Bella was happy? Even after what she did to me? My bloods starts to boil, yet if Isabella wanted those papers so bad than I will be sure to put them in her hand and bid my goodbye.
"Edward sweetheart…Are you there?" I get out of my trance. "Fine… I will go and give them to her".
"I'm so thrilled to see you honey, get to the party in time so we can have a good time as a family"
It's going to be one heck of a party.
Bella Pov
Diana was a really good friend of the family and I didn't want to disappoint her by not going but I was feeling too sick and fatigued to go, nevertheless, my mother literally came all the way to Malibu to pick me up and take me to the party where everyone was already in their ugly sweaters and drinking alcoholic eggnogs that literally made me want to vomit.
"I love your sweater sissy" Sarah and Angela approach me with their festive looks.
"Thank you"
"You look chubbier" Sarah blurts out.
"Well thanks I guess"
"She means it in the best way, you needed the weight. You were looking too thin after coming back from Dubai" Angela assures me.
"This party is packed" I wanted to change subjects and fast.
"Diana has a lot of friends" she says as we are pushed by other people. My stomach wasn't accepting it.
"You know Edward's family is here"
"Mom told me" I admitted. "Diana is friends with Esme so it would have been if she left her out".
"So the divorce is finalized?" Sarah asks
"Not yet. I'm still waiting for Edward to send his papers signed"
"You are going to start a new life Bella. Aren't you a little bit happy?
"I don't really know what happiness feels since last year" I say to them
That was the worst part.
Edward Pov
I arrived at the party, not enthusiastic but angered that Bella was making me do this. As if it wasn't enough leaving me naked on a bed and leaving without a word. I quickly found my mother to ask her about Bella's location, telling me that she was talking to her sisters in the patio. I finally saw her and walked up to her with determination.
"Hi" all three of them their heads to see me.
"You said you wanted these papers sooner rather than later so here you go, the signed papers for our divorce"
It took her a second to look at me and I saw how her eyes went shut and her body go towards the ground. Thankfully she doesn't get there because I was fast enough to catch her and take her into my arms.
"Bella!" Her sisters yell out and people around take notice.
"Something is wrong, she's been looking very pale all night" Sarah admits as I look at her, lying in my arms and she does look sick.
It takes two seconds for my mother and Renee to be right next to me.
"Sweetheart, take her to the hospital"
I couldn't wait for the ambulance to come so I decided to take Bella with me to the hospital accompanied by her sisters. I was mad at Bella but now I was truly worried about her safety and wellbeing.
"We need help!" I shout to the nurses as I walked into the hospital doors.
"What's wrong" they immediately come out with a hauler and place her in it.
"She fainted and she won't woke wake up" I was now freaking out at the thought of losing the love of my life.
"You all need to stay here while we attend to her. The doctor will come out to explain everything" one of the nurses pushes me out of the emergency doors, leaving me in the lobby.
"She'll be okay Edward. We need to calm down." Angela puts her hand on my shoulder and I see that they are both crying as well.
Three hours later…
"The family of Isabella Grimaldi"
We all stood up to receive the doctor in charge of her state.
"There is no need to worry, she is fine. I took a while because her blood levels were now but we managed to bring them up again"
"Thank god…" I breathe out
"And who are you I might ask?" he looks at me.
'I'm her husband"
"aaa just the person I wanted to see. May I have a word with you in private Mr. Grimaldi"
"Of course but can her sisters come as well?" I ask. They were worried too.
"Go with him Edward, you'll tell us when you come back. We are going to call our mom in the meanwhile to tell her that she is going to be okay"
I go ahead and follow the doctor into the room where they have Bella connected to an IV. I told myself I would keep my distance but was the last fucking thing I was thinking about at the moment.
"Why did you only bring me back here doctor? I'm her husband but the people outside are her close family"
"There is a reason for that Mr. Grimaldi and I'd rather tell you first because you have a big part in her case"
"What do you mean?" he was starting to piss me off with this little information.
"In the exams we have found that your wife is pregnant"
"What" I didn't know what to say. Did I just hear him right?
"Eight weeks to be exact and everything is fine with her and the baby"
"she's…she'sssss pregggnant" I managed to speak out.
"Yes sir, congratulations. In less than eight months you are going to become a father to a beautiful baby"
Keep yourself up Grimaldi you are going to be a father and Bella was going to be a mother. That night in Dubai had a wonderful consequence and now we were going to pay it in the most wonderful way possible. This woman that was still out of it was going to give me a child, the child we had always wanted together and the child that was conceived out of the pure love and devotion we have for each other. I couldn't help but kiss her lips several times with no response and hold her hand for a while til it was time to tell her sisters the news. I went out with the biggest smile on my face. Not her sisters were there but also our parents and the rest of the siblings.
"What is it Edward? Is she okay? Is she awake?" my mother questioned me in the lookout for answers.
"She is more than fine" I couldn't take off the lover boy expression off my face.
"Why do you have that face? Tell us already!" Angela pushes on.
"I'm going to be dad!"
It's a miracle that the hospital didn't throw us out because absolutely everyone started to scream and cry.
"My baby is having a baby!" my mother hugs me and from everyone else.
"Is she awake?" Charlie asks while patting my back.
"No but I know that it's late and I want to stay here with her so she won't get scared when she wakes up"
"Of course sweetie, We are going to leave but let us know if you need something and we will bring you some clothes and food tomorrow" my mother soothes me while wiping some of her happy tears.
"Mom, do you have the divorce papers?"
They all look at me as if I were crazy.
"Give them to me. I now have different plans for them" I smile and they quickly get the picture.
I ended spending the night by Bella's side since she was sedated for the majority of the night. The next day she managed to wake up at 8 am.
"Hi sleepy head" I caress her hair and stare at her. Today she had a different glow, the best glow, the pregnant glow.
"Ed…Edward. What happened? What I'm I doing here?" she tries to lift up and pulls on her IV by mistake.
"Be careful love" I take her hand and stroke it. "You fainted at the party and we had to bring you to the hospital"
"Oh my god!"
"You are fine and I am the happiest man alive" I tell her
"Why?"
"Dubai gave us a little gift. You're pregnant love" I take her hand and give it the biggest kiss ever. Her face was motionless until I saw her tears fall one by one and not in a good way.
"What's wrong baby? Aren't you happy that we are going to have a baby together?" I ask her.
"I am but I'm not sure if you are. I had my suspicions…hiccup…but I didn't want to say anything because I thought you were still mad at me for what did to you in Dubai. I am the stupidest woman in the world"
"Never call yourself that Isabella! You are the most wonderful woman in the world and I am the luckiest man alive to have you as the mother of my child or did you sleep with ben?" I needed to make sure.
"I never slept with him because I was still in love with you. I never stopped loving you and now that we are divorced I won't be able to love you anymore" she cries hysterically.
"Baby look at me" I call for her attention, pull out the signed divorce papers and rip them right in front of her.
"What are you doing?"
"I can't divorce the woman that I love and since she loves me back. I have no use for this anymore. Our child is a gift of god and has brought us together again. You are the light of my life and you brought me back from the dark. I huge made mistakes and you still loved me through it all so…Mrs. Grimaldi you are going to be my wife until the day I die and I am going to worship these feet when you get round with our child and forever"
She laughs while still having tears in her eyes.
"I love you too"
I take her face into my hands and give her the biggest kiss in my life because we were going to be together.
"This is the best Christmas gift you could of ever given to me"
Eight months Later….
No-ones Pov
Bella is cuddling her new baby when Edward shows up with flowers and balloons.
"Where are my ladies?"
"We are right here daddy" she says with stroking the baby's head. "Look... we are on the news…" she tilts her head towards the T.V.
The Grimaldi and Parker family have welcomed a new bundle of joy into the family. A healthy baby girl was born July 18th at 3 in the morning via C-section. The parents of the child are said to be elated to have their little one with them and just two days shy of Mr. Grimaldi's birthday. Let's hope for the release of her name and pictures soon.
"They are going to have to wait a lot for that to happen"
"We can donate the proceeds to our favorite charities" Bella proposes
"Maybe…but for now" He kisses Bella and takes the sleeping baby in his arms. "This angel is going to be top secret" his heart bursts as he stares at her sleeping state with her little hat that had a bow attached to it.
"I'm going to be very protective of you Ms. Sophia Grimaldi, but don't worry. You can be whoever you want and if you don't want daddy's company I will make sure not to sell it to the person you fall in love with" he winks at Bella "I'm not saying you are going to fall in love fast but when you do my little piglet you are going to be in your forties by the time that happens so I'll be the only man in your life for a long time".
"You're going to my man forever" Bella comments while gazing at them.
"Forever and always" he replies.

That is all my friends. The last chapter of Under The L.A Sun and I have to admit that I cried while writing the last few dialogue. This was such a pleasure and I thank you for reading. It's not my last story but it's one that I will carry with me forever. I said I would upload the first chapter of my new story today but it's taking longer than usual but by tomorrow night it will be up so I guess it's like a superbowl treat for those of you who will watch the game or just a sexy Sunday for the ones that won't be watching it.
