A:N/ So I know it's been uhm what, close to two years that I updated this story? But I've been in a huge writing mood and wanted to finish this. Please leave a review so I know if anyone is still interested in reading this.

"So nice of you to come home."

She froze and turned around to see her father sitting in a chair in the kitchen. A small lamp was the only source of light and Faye wanted to make some remark about her father sitting alone in the dark and how creepy it was. But she knew that she was already in trouble for being home so late.

"I actually have a good excuse this time," Faye said, folding her arms over her chest and shooting her father a triumphant look.

Her father raised an eyebrow while he waited.

"Okay so I went to the station with Stiles and all this stuff happened and it was crazy and we were attacked and someone was even taken it was just all over the place!" She babbled on while her hands flew in the air making gestures at her wild story. "But I thought the Sheriff said he was going to call you?" She questioned.

He nodded. "He did. I was just curious to see what you would say."

Faye frowned. "Why? It's a solid excuse, so I'm not sure why I would make something up."

Her father shrugged and Faye thought that maybe it was because he thought she wouldn't want to get into trouble. She didn't really know and didn't want to start to think about her father's logic.

"Well did you apologize to Jackson?" He asked.

She clenched her teeth and shook her head. "No. And I don't plan to. Do you even know what he was doing that made me throw his phone?" She asked. She waited a small beat before talking about, knowing her father had no idea. "He was playing a video of this girl in class, Erica, having a seizure and having an accident in her pants. I think he deserved it."

A small amount of guilt showed on his face before it was replaced with his attempt to be stern. "And that's horrible, but I don't want my kid to get a bad reputation with the parents. You should still apologize."

Faye was beyond furious at this point. "You know what? I'm not going to. Because when I saw that video I saw Bethany." She sighed and lowered her voice. "If it was Bethany in the video you would have never asked me to apologize."

Faye didn't wait for what her father had to say, but instead turned and went upstairs to her room. She collapsed on her bed that still resided on the ground, and she shoved her face into her pillow. How had she managed to get thrown into such a shit storm within a few days?

The annoying sound of her alarm woke Faye up and she turned to glare at the bit of sun that was peaking in through her blinds.

Picking up her phone she huffed to see how many missed calls she had from Stiles. What could he have possibly needed throughout the entire night?

She hesitantly dialed Stiles' number and rolled over in her bed. She flung her legs over the side and began to get ready.

"Ohmygod!" Stiles yelled into the phone. "Where have you been? Do you have any idea what happened after you left?"

Faye rubbed her eyes and shook her head. "I was sleeping, but please enlighten me on what happened."

Stiles went off on some rant about this lizard creature that had almost attacked them after they had gone back to Isaac's house. Faye had not had enough caffeine at this point and told Stiles that they would talk when she got to school.

After getting ready she went downstairs to find her dad already gone, and she was thankful for his absence. She didn't want to deal with him after their conversation last night, especially now since she had more supernatural crap to deal with.

Faye grabbed her coffee and walked outside to drive to school. She stopped as soon as she walked onto the porch and frowned. She had left her car at the police station after Stiles had given her a ride home. Sighing she reached into her pocket and called Stiles, asking for a ride.

A few moments later a blue jeep skidded to a halt in front of her house and Faye rolled her eyes.

"So what's this lizard thing you were talking about?" She asked after she got inside the car and put her seatbelt on. She was taking no chances when it came to Stiles' driving.

"We don't know," he began. His voice was a little calmer than it had been half an hour ago on the phone.

She bit her lip and thought about what she could do. "Do you think you could describe it?" she asked.

Stiles glanced at her before nodding his head. "Yeah. Big ass lizard creature."

Rolling her eyes she shook her head. "I mean, if I tried to draw it could you give me some direction?" She asked. "Because let's say we get a good drawing of this thing. We could bring it to Derek and see if he knows what it is." She paused for a moment and thought. "Is there anyone older than Derek that's, you know, a better supernatural yoda?" she asked.

Stiles shook his head. "No. That's all we've got. He used to have an uncle but he, uhm, he slashed his throat and now he's dead."

"Well getting your throat slashed usually ends in death I imagine," Faye deadpanned.

"It's the twenty-first century and gym class is still mandatory," Faye muttered to Erica who was sitting on the mat next to her.

It wasn't that Faye hated the idea of gym class, she had ran track at her old school, but she didn't want to be spending her time there. She had too much on her mind and climbing a stupid wall was not going to help at all.

She glanced over at Erica who looked nervous and Faye offered her a smile. "Erica, you don't have to climb the way. You know, you actually can't."

Erica's eyes widened and she shook her head quickly. "No," she said.

"I'll tell Coach quietly so it's not something everyone has to hear, okay?" she asked.

Erica didn't nod her head but she didn't say no either. Faye decided to give her a few minutes to think about it. She glanced up to see Scott and Allison halfway up the wall. "I'll be right back," Faye said, looking over at Erica again. "Bathroom."

Without another word Faye stood up and walked out of the gym and back into the girls locker room.

She used the restroom and walked out of the stall to wash her hands. She stared at her reflection and moved her head to the side slightly. She never would have thought she would be in her new school but worrying more about werewolves and lizards than catching up on schoolwork.

After drying her hands Faye walked back into the gym but her attention was caught when she heard kids chattering to one another while the Coach yelled up the wall.

Her eyes traveled up to see a blonde clinging to the wall, but not going up or down. Erica.

Faye ran over towards the group and pushed through the people. "You let her climb up there?" Faye snapped at the Coach.

"She's epileptic," Allison said.

If Allison was aware of Erica's condition then why the hell didn't she say anything? Faye had to calm down. Not everyone knew all the dangers and activities someone with epilepsy had.

Faye stepped forward and began to grab at the rubber rocks that were sticking out of the wall.

"Hey!" Coach Finstock's voice echoed in the gym. "You get down from there right now!"

She ignored the yells of Coach and continued to climb. Erica hadn't gotten too far but Faye finally reached her friend.

"Erica," Faye said. She moved around a little until she found a comfortable footing on the fake rocks. "Hey," she said again, trying to get Erica to look at her. The blonde finally slowly looked over at Faye. She could see her shaking and she just wanted to get her down as quickly as possible.

"There's the harness around you and if you just let go of the rocks, it will bring you down slowly. Not too quick but nice and slow. Can you let go?" She asked.

Erica simply looked at her friend and kept shaking. "Do you trust me?" Faye asked, her eyes kind and gentle.

Finally Erica closed her eyes and released her grip, pressing off from the wall. Faye quickly released her own grip and let herself fall back down to the mat. She landed in a crouch position and quickly stood up to grab onto Erica as soon as her feet touched the ground.

Faye's hands quickly worked to untie Erica from the harness and she immediately wrapped an arm around Erica's shoulder. "It's okay," she whispered to the blonde. She ushered Erica through the crowd. The kids were chuckling and Faye made sure to kick one of the kids really hard in the shin on her way past him.

She took Erica to the locker room and sat her down. Kneeling in front of her she looked at her friend. "Are you okay?" she asked.

Erica shook her head. "It was humiliating," she mumbled. Faye offered her a smile. "Let's just forget about it, okay? Let's get dressed and continue on with our day."

The locker room began to fill with the other girls and Faye stood up and left Erica to go and start to change out of her gym clothes.

"Hey."

Faye turned to see Allison and a bored looking Lydia.

"That was nice of you. You know, to help Erica," Allison said.

Faye nodded her head and continued to change out of her gym clothes.

"And you know," Lydia began. "Now everyone's talking about you. Again." She looked at her nails in a bored manner.

Faye slammed her gym locker shut and turned to glare at Lydia. "You should be thankful. At least now people aren't talking about the psychotic vacation you took in the woods," she snapped.

Allison's mouth dropped open and Lydia had a look of surprise that quickly turned to one of fury.

She walked out of the locker room, too pissed off at Lydia to wait for Allison to finish changing.

When she walked out into the hall she heard a commotion in the gym again. Rolling her eyes she walked inside to see Scott holding a shaking Erica on the ground.

Faye ran over and kneeled down next to Scott. "What happened?" She asked.

"I don't know," he said. "I just had this bad feeling and when I came in here she was about to fall and started to seize."

Faye didn't want to question how Scott had known that, but she knew that Erica had to go to the hospital. She looked up to see Allison entering the gym with a confused look at her face. Faye quickly ordered her to call an ambulance and she held onto Erica as she rode out her seizure.

"Thanks," Faye whispered to Scott. "You saved her."

He looked up at her and nodded. Faye could see the kindness in his eyes and it gave her a sensation of relief.

They waited for the ambulance to arrive and they carted Erica away. Faye knew that she would want to go see Erica after school, but for now she had to finish her day.
