Brandon POV

I closed my locker and sped down the hall towards the locker room. Coach Jay doesn't give any of the swimmers a lot of time to change and I for one do not want to deal with an angry Coach. Last time that happened I couldn't move for days. Being on the swim team can be exhausting but I love it and hopefully it can pay my way through college.

I'm the first one there and I change as quickly as possible. These locker rooms are disgusting. I grab my bag and head for the pool. I had assumed no on else would be there but I was wrong.

"You Idiot!" I didn't recognize the voice which I thought was a little bit odd. I had gone to school with the same group of kids for years. I know almost everyone. I quickly hid in the bathroom not wanting to interrupt. The voice continues.

"Of course, I'm not mad about the other girls, I expected it! That doesn't mean you have to be so oblivious about everything!"

"But Annabeth.." I knew that voice. Percy Jackson. Captain of the swim team, Overall good guy, chick-magnet. Seriously all the girls loved him. We weren't that close especially for being on the swim team together but I had my friends and he had his. They only time we really talked was in between practices and at meets. The girl must be his girlfriend, Annabeth Chase. She was new to Goode and had been the topic of conversation the last few days. Apparently, some guys tried to hit on her and Percy did not appreciate that. And Annabeth had been very clear that Percy was hers.

"I don't know why you're so mad at me then." Uh-oh that was not the right thing to say Perce, I thought to myself, while slowing shaking my head.

"Don't you but Annabeth me! You dug this hole by yourself, you can dig yourself out of it." With that, I heard her walk away and slam the door behind her.

I decide that now would be the best time to come out of my hiding place. As I walk out to the pool area, I see Percy sitting on the lowest set of bleachers, staring into space. He hears me walk over and lifts his head.

"You hear that?" he asked nodding his head in the direction of the doors.

"Umm yeah"

Surprisingly Percy starts speaking about it. "I don't know what to do, she knows I can't control these girls and she is still mad at me. I don't know what to do!"

I can see him getting frustrated and quickly give him my opinion. "Honestly Percy, It didn't sound like she was mad about the girls. Is there anything else you might have done to piss her off?"

"Sounds like you have a lot of confidence in me, Thanks man." He says sarcastically.

"Just trying to help, did you do anything?"

"Not that I know of" I really pity the kid, now he just sounds desperate.

"Forget anything important?"

"No, No, No. He birthday is in July and We got together in August so our 6th months isn't until March."

I do some quick math in my head and begin laughing. Percy just stares as me as if I have six heads. "Perce if you got together in August, your six month anniversary is in February. Like now."

"Oh gods! what is today?"

"February 23"

"I am so so so dead." Percy starts effectively freaking out. I can't follow what he's saying and the next thing I know he is muttering something about apologizing and heads toward the door.

I grab his arm "You can do that latter but right now you have to get ready for practice, which starts in" I glance at the clock, "three minutes."

"dammit" He runs past me and into the locker room.I shake my head as I walk towards the pool and put my bag down. Poor kid, now he has to worry about being late for practice and making up with his girlfriend. But that what he gets for being bad so bad at math.

He sure does Need a Tutor.
