Hey everyone. First of all, my deepest apologies to those of you who excitedly clicked on this thinking I finally updated another chapter after a gazillion centuries only to see me using this as a public announcement.

And before you think I'm about to announce that I'm cancelling the story altogether, please be assured I am not. In fact, I'm here with a new determination to finish the story.

So why am I writing this message here? Now? Well, I'll tell you.

To be honest, when I started writing this story, I was still new to FanFiction and even to writing, having only found it back in 2010, and two years later, I began my foray, using the Balestone Chronicles as a learning curve for myself. I can quite frankly say, thanks to this tale, my writing has improved by leaps and bounds, especially thanks to people who gave me reviews and helpfully pointed out flaws and writing errors, many of which I've since learned to address and deal with, and I'm sure you would have noticed the changes over the years in each chapter. So, thank you, all who reviewed and offered me honest criticism, because you helped me make myself a better writer, and it is my hope I can offer you all a most enjoyable tale of magic, fantasy and inspiration to be your own brilliant storyteller.

So to the point now.

While I do in fact have the ending for the story prepared already, I'm plagued now by the middle parts, and unfortunately, it might have gotten quite cluttered up with a lot of surprise twists even for myself that I'm beginning to think I might have scuppered my own story before I can finish it.

While I am indeed writing a story for my own enjoyment, I am also writing this for you. Yeah you, reader, you.

And at this point I'm considering rewriting the whole thing, from scratch, edit the chapters to be more uniform in terms of length and progress.

Alternatively, I merely edit the chapters to maintain the same content, but to fix grammar errors and tenses, and also shave down the content length to match as close as possible to each chapter.

Some of you may have noticed that I am writing a few other stories too, as well as another Wizards of Waverly Place that's decidedly more light-hearted and probably closer to canon, if any of you like that.

I'm of course, also looking to be more regular in my writing and updating of chapters.

Thus, I write this to ask for your opinions, your reviews and honest suggestion/criticism/voting for how I should proceed, six years later, from when I made the very first chapter of this story. If you don't wish to write in Review, I'll be happy to get a PM from you. Remember, this story is for you. So please, help me. Help me, help you.

I had written this story to be somewhat more serious, dramatic, and even darker than the canon version ever was, and I believe someone once told me that my story looked like something written by Ridley Scott, or Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings, in terms of the intensity of it. So that's another thing I thought I'd ask. Is this a direction you would like to see the story going? Keeping in mind the TV show I'm taking it from...

Thanks for your time and consideration.
