Hello there! I must admit I had lost my muse for a while there but I've got it back! Hopefully this chapter will somewhat make up for the long, long, long wait. I tried to make it longer than I usually write and I will strive to give you guys longer chapters from now on as well ^_^
I have to say a huge thanks for all of the reviews, favorites, and followers that this story has gotten. It helped me get a move on writing again :)

A Time For Explaining
Recap: As she set the cups down on the table she heard the bathroom door open. Kyoko's head snapped up immediately and couldn't help but gape at what she assumed was her senpai coming out dejectedly from the bathroom with his robe on looking a tad bit larger on him than she last remembered. 'Wait a minute! These measurements aren't right, who is this? What happened to Tsuruga-san?! This person is too short and not as muscular. What is going on here?'
Ren could see the gears turning in Kyoko's head and he appreciated her more sedated reaction. However, it scared him to think of what was going through that head of hers, especially if it had anything to do with his bone and muscle structure again. Shivering at the memory of how she busted him as Cain Heel he began, "Ah… Mogami-san? Please don't freak out!" He quickly added the last part as Kyoko's head shot back up to meet his eyes, hers wide as saucers.
She took a step back and in a barely audible voice she asked, "You really are Tsuruga-san?" He nodded and she looked him over a few times making him slightly uncomfortable. Hm… the voice is the same. Not as deep but the same. From my Ren-san scale… hmm…mhmm, yes. The head is the same, the proportion of the head to the body, yes. Not to mention the upper to lower body, and from shoulder to elbow, elbow to wrist, the proportion of the thigh to calf. Even the angle between the shoulder breadth and hips is proportionate. Although the height is completely off it's still the proportions of the perfect being! This man right in front of me could be no one but my senpai! How could this be? He's just a few inches taller than me! He even looks like he could be the same age!
It seemed to him as if she was more than lost in her own little world so Ren decided to walk up to her waving his now much smaller hands in front of her face. "Hello! Mogami-san! Earth to Kyoko! Are you okay in there?"
That seemed to do the trick quite nicely. Or so it seemed. "…Right… The proportions are definitely right. What kind of sorcery is this?!" She finished looking up to him as if he was able to answer all of her questions.
Ren's eyes widened at her mumbling, the sound of his hand uncharacteristically meeting his face resounding across the walls. I can't believe she's still going by my proportions in her head. Still creepy….
Upon seeing the frown and the red splotches marring her considerably younger looking senpai's face, Kyoko snapped out of her calculative daze. Surprisingly calm she asked, "Tsuruga-san, how did this happen? You left as Cain-niisan, how did you shrink?"
Shrink? How did I shrink?! Kyoko! What's with your choice of words?! And why are you so calm?! "Mogami-san, I'm not sure how it happened but the Boss is right. I can't work like this, I look too different. He is going to clear my schedule until this whole thing goes away. Though, he is leaving it up to me to explain to Yashiro-san all about this disaster. I wonder just how I will do that. Scratch that, I'm actually dreading seeing that man right now. Anyways, I just needed to make sure you are okay. I probably gave you a scare with the commotion in the bathroom… There's no need to panic though, I'm sure there is an easy way to reverse whatever this is. Probably…" Hopefully! Oh please let there be an easy way out of this!
"Ah, well… I suppose since you say you're fine and you still look completely healthy. You don't look sick or anything. Either way I made you some soup and since you decided to skip dinner and go walking goodness knows where, you are going to eat every last bit before we do anything else! I swear your eating habits may never get any better! And to think you said you would be perfectly fine without Setsu-chan in the beginning." Kyoko ended in that motherly tone she always seemed to find when it was time to scold him.
Not feeling like getting her riled up any more, Ren silently complied, going to get dressed while Kyoko dished out the soup she had been reheating. Bringing the bowl to the small coffee table, Kyoko sat down across from Ren's seat with every intention of watching him swallow every spoonful. Walking out of the bathroom dressed in some shorts and a polo shirt, Ren sat across from her and began eating without a word.
Seeing the look that briefly crossed her face, he decided to explain himself putting down the soup temporarily. "I didn't have anything else that wouldn't look like I was drowning in my clothes. This is the only set that still fit nicely."
Stifling a giggle she replied, "But you won't look very Cain-like. In fact, it wouldn't take that much effort to see that you're still Tsuruga Ren under the blonde hair and blue eyes. Even if you're a full half foot shorter than you should be they would still make that connection."
"Very true… Do you still have regular clothes here, or is everything for Setsu?"
"I have a few outfits that would pass as not-Setsu. Why do you ask?"
"That's good, we can pretend we don't even know who they are." He said with a brilliant smile.
So bright! That face looks really familiar. But it's so hazy. It doesn't look like Tsuruga-san at all. It's… kind of cute though…
Kyoko blushed faintly and continued to watch Ren in silence, completely surprised at how quickly he was gobbling up the soup. "Um… Tsuruga-san, would you like some more?"
Looking up from his near empty bowl, Ren took one last gulp and handed it to her. Smiling brightly he replied with a 'yes please' as she mechanically took the bowl and went to refill it. After bringing him the remaining soup she began to clean the kitchen, avoiding looking at him.
Meanwhile, Kyoko's inner turmoil was raging inside of her. This man is going to kill me! Seriously! Just how bright do those smiles get!? And why am I the one they're aimed at?! And also, why do those smiles look so familiar? The only person I've ever met with blonde hair and blue eyes is Corn... Corn? Corn… Corn… Kuon? Wait, what?! Arrgh, why brain, why! But it makes sense! And it matches with everything Otou-san said about his 'wonderful darling son' when he was babbling about him. He also said I looked and acted just like his Kuon and I had based that on the Corn I remembered. Plus, he did let it slip that they were in Kyoto for a vacation when I talked to him once. What could this mean? Ren-san couldn't be Kuon! Could he? No way! I think I need to talk to Otou-san. Or should I just ask Ren-san? Would he tell me? Does he even recognize me? Of course if he's Corn then he would know it's me! I told him everything! There's no way he wouldn't remember my little cry baby self! Waahhh! And he saw the corn stone! Oh my gosh! She snuck a peak at the subject of her thoughts and immediately went back to cleaning. When she finished she took his now empty bowl, washed that, and then got her clothes and rushed to the bathroom all the while avoiding his curious gaze.
I have a poll up on my profile to see which story you guys want to be updated next. Seeing as I want to make my chapters longer, it will take me more time to get it out to you all so I am leaving it up to you. Thanks for reading :] I hope you enjoyed it!
