I'm starting to ship Jamber. I give you all permission to kill me. NOW
As she held her books closer to her chest she felt her knuckles turning white. Her scrunched up feelings for him started to seep out, she tries to hide it and cover it up but it can't be help, she was in love.
Her long blonde hair fell to her beautiful face, covering it up and for a moment she let it be but after she slowly tucked her straight hair out of her face as she walked down the corridors of this school.
She looked down, not wanting to meet anyone's gaze but she was Amber Millington for goodness sake's, people couldn't help but look at her!
She finally reached her locker and after slowly turning the combination and opening it, she placed her books and closed it. Happy that she could finally go back to the house and get some rest, she swung her bag around her holders and started to walk towards the exit but was stopped at her heels when she saw him.
Jerome Clarke leaning against the wall near the exit and glanced over both of his sides. He looked down at his wrist watch and sighed.
'He must be waiting for someone'. Amber thought
'THIS IS YOUR CHANCE. TALK TO HIM!' the voice in her head screamed.
She nodded to herself before walking up to him with slightly trembling steps. She carefully approached him; the closer she got to him the more it seemed like his was getting even farther away.
Her eyes narrowed to him and everything else disappears, it was only her and him.
One, Two,
Her heart started to beat faster and faster
Three, Four,
She started having a hard time breathing
Five, Six,
Her entire body felt like it was going to give in.
As she walked up to him with baby steps, he met her eyes. She looked at his eyes, his eyes that were always hard to read. His eyes that seemed so cold, his eyes that she loved so much.
This was her first time feeling like this, the feeling of love.
She suddenly became cautious when he stood up straight, eyes never leaving her. She was only a few steps away before reaching him but it felt like he was miles away, the long hallway became even longer in her mind.
She longed for the day that she will touch his heart, for the day he will hold her in his embrace but she knew that day would never come.
As she started getting closer to him, walking up to him with tearful baby steps her heart started to race.
It was so strange to think that someone like her would fall for someone like him but, here she is now, walking up to the guy she knew for three years now with her slightly shaky legs. She started to wish that he would meet her half way and say 'Hi' or something but she knew it was impossible.
So it was to her pure shock when he did just that, he walked up to her and said 'hi'
Amber couldn't help but smile at him.
"Hello Jerome" she beamed at him. "Are you waiting for anyone?"
"No, not really" he answered.
"I see" she nodded, a smile still plastered on her face
"Hey, if you don't mind…" he began, rubbing the back of his neck "Would you fancy walking back with me?"
Amber fought back a smile, she couldn't be too obvious.
"Sure, I'd fancy that" she replied
And with that they walked back to the house, both smiling to themselves.
