"What are we going to do?" Sabrina asked, "They are both totally bleeding everywhere and they are going to tell everyone what we did. I don't know how to glamour and I'm pretty sure you don't' either, right?"
"Right, because my parents and your dad agreed we were too young to have such powerful knowledge," Zooey answered, "we have to get help from someone. What about Jessica?"
"I can help," said a low voice from the dark corner.
Both girls turned quickly to see who it was. It was Russell.
"Umm, R..Russell, are you here with my dad?" Sabrina asked.
"No, I just got back from a sporting goods store, we needed rope."
"Rope? Oh never mind, I really don't want to know. Are you going to tell my dad?"
"If he doesn't, I will," said another voice.
The girls turned around again and their hearts both dropped; any hope they had of getting away with what they did was suddenly gone.
"Daddy," said Zooey," I…I can explain."
"Oh this should be good," said Eric as he crossed his arms.
CONFESSION
Zooey looked at her father who clearly was not at all cool about the situation he found his daughter and her friend in. She thought for a brief moment about making up some elaborate story. She kept looking at the passed out boys, back at Eric, then Russel and then Sabrina. She couldn't take it and just broke down.
"Okay daddy I'm sorry! Sabrina and I just wanted to go to the party and dance. We drank some kind of drink and for me it just made me super, super thirsty for blood. There wasn't any true blood and Josh was totally hitting on me you know. I didn't mean to. I tried not to, I swear; but, but then I just kinda bit him and you know fed off of him. Please, please, please daddy glamour him to forget. I'll never do that again! I swear!" Zooey pleaded as tears streamed down her face. (In my story, the tears are just tears, not bloody like on the show).
Eric let out a sympathetic sigh then looked at his daughter's friend.
"Anything you want to add Sabrina?"
"No sir, everything Zooey said is true. And it was rum and coke, that's what made us extra thirsty for blood," the young girl confessed humbly.
"You are both in really big trouble," said Eric as he crouched down to revive both boys, he noticed the shiner on Josh's eye. "Zooey, please tell me Josh got this black eye from a fight."
"Ohhh yeah, umm that, no, I sucker punched him and knocked him out on purpose so he couldn't run."
"Ohhh little girl, little girl, you are going to have trouble sitting for some time."
Eric helped wake up the boys then glamoured them both to have no association with the girls that night and he sent them on their way. Eric then turned to Russell.
"When did you get back in town?"
"I've been back for a couple months. Just staying out of trouble with my new mate, Steve."
"Mmm I see well you know I'll be keeping an eye on you. You know, for old times' sake and what not," Eric smirked but his eyes spoke volumes of seriousness.
"I look forward to it my old friend," said Russell before he put his attention onto his boyfriend's daughter, "Sabrina, let's go home."
Sabrina sighed, "See you at school on Monday Zooey."
"Yeah, good luck."
"You too."
TBTB
Eric unlocked the front door to their home.
"I still have business to attend and some more patrol. You go straight up to bed and I'll deal with you in the morning."
"Daddy, can't we get it over with now?"
"No, absolutely not. I'm not going to wake your brother or mother. Now do as I tell you or I'll add on more in the morning."
She looked up at him with sorrowful eyes, "yes daddy, goodnight."
He opened the door for her, "goodnight."
He watched her pitifully walk into the house and head upstairs. He shook his head and let out a deep sigh before he closed the door, locked it and went back to work.
