A/N: Warning: itsy bitsy bit of profanity from Mr. Davenport.

Chapter 9: Goodbye…?

Chase pulled out a slip of paper and spoke to get his siblings attention.

"Guys, I have a way to contact the facility." Chase said." Bree and Adam looked at him oddly.

"How?" They each said.

"Dianica sent me a telepathic message last night, she gave me the facility number. I memorized it and wrote it down this morning." Adam smiled before patting Chase on the back, which felt more like a pound to Chase, while saying, "Congratulations little brother, you finally got a girl to give you her number." Bree laughed beside him. Chase scowled at Adam.

"It's not her number it's the facility's number, this way we could contact them and ask for installment in their facility."

"I guess we're really doing this huh?" Bree asked. Chase nodded.

"We have to, and you know it, we don't belong here, the short time we've had here was just an illusion." Chase said. Adam and Bree nodded in agreement solemnly.

Chase pulled out his cellphone and made the call. He heard ringing on the other end several times, before someone answered.

"Hello?"

"Prof. Wolf… it's Chase D- … It's, Chase. Me and my older brother and sister would like to take the offer of a position in your facility. If you don't mind." Chase said. He set the phone down on speaker so his siblings could hear.

"Chase, I'm afraid your calling at a pretty bad time at the moment. Dr. Aris and I are nearly ready to transfer the facility." Prof. Wolf said.

"What? Why?" All three teens asked.

On the other line Prof. Wolf blinked realizing he was on speaker on the other line.

"You see, it appears as though Dianica's kidnapper has returned, he's looking for her and we feel it's best to relocate our facility to protect her, unless of course, you children don't mind moving away from Mission Creek."

Chase looked to his siblings. They all looked at one another making a silent agreement. Chase looked back to the phone and spoke to it.

"The farther the better." Chase said.

XXXX

Aris looked to Wolf after hanging up and asked. "So what did the kid say?"

"The exact same words Dianica used. Even the part where they denied their last names." Wolf said grinning evily.

Later that afternoon:

Bree was walking around downtown Mission Creek with Ethan holding hands as they passed by the many cute little shops on the side walk and the cafés sat every corner. Bree was looking around trying to fake a smile for her boyfriend. Ethan sighed and wrapped an arm around Bree's shoulder.

"Alright tell me what's bothering you." Ethan said.

"N-nothing's bothering me." Bree stuttered. Ethan stopped walking and put himself in front of Bree. He held both her hands and looked her directly in the eyes.

"Bree c'mon, whatever it is I want to know. Is there anyway you think I could help?" Bree looked down unable to look Ethan directly in the eyes and took a breath.

"I don't think there's anything you could do to help." Bree said. Ethan placed a hand on her cheeck and had her look up at him.

"At least tell me what's going on please." Ethan said. Bree pulled away from Ethan while giving an inaudible sigh and looked at him.

"I'm leaving somewhere tomorrow. And I don't think I'll ever come back." Bree said. She looked away from Ethan, and he looked at her in shock.

"What? Why are you… why are you just telling me this now? How long have you known? When are you leaving?" Ethan asked.

"All the arrangements were made this morning. I thought it was going to be close by so we could still see each other, but it turned out I was wrong."

"Well, where are you leaving?"

"It's a new school Ethan. I won't be living here anymore. I'll be gone by tomorrow." Ethan sighed looking away.

"It's the middle of summer, do you have to leave so early?" Ethan asked, Bree nodded, not wanting to speak.

"Can you at least tell me why?" Ethan asked. Bree shook her head feeling a lump forming in her throat.

"I can't, the school asked me to keep it confidential. They were silent for several moments, Bree was looking anywhere, but Ethan.

"Bree." Ethan spoke making Bree look up at him her eyes glossy with tears. "You can break up with me later. Right now let's just have the best day ever." Ethan said smiling at her. Bree looked at Ethan surprised before smiling and hugged him. Ethan hugged her back, tighter.

XXXX

Adam and Chase were hanging out with Marcus at their usual spot under the bridge.

"So you guys are moving away tomorrow?" Marcus asked, trying to process the information.

"Yeah. Adam, Bree, and myself all feel like we belong better where we're headed.

"Well can I at least ask where you guys are headed?" Marcus asked.

"Can't say." Adam said.

"Well that's too bad. …I guess that's it then." Marcus said.

"Yeah I guess." Chase said. "You know, you were our first real friend, we really appreciate that." Chase extended his hand and Marcus shook it firmly, the same was done with Adam.

"Well I guess this is goodbye." Marcus said.

(Night)

Late that night Chase received a call from the facility, asking them to meet them in a secluded area of the city. Adam, Bree, and Chase prepared for this knowing they were going to be called at some point. They planned every detail to sneak out. Chase hacked into Eddie's circuitry to keep him from doing surveillance within the house and the outer area.

"Sorry about this Eddie," Chase said as he poked around with the circuitry, "Actually, I'm not!" And Chase slammed the door to the circuitry box. The three teens made their way out the mansion and met up with Aris and Wolf at an empty park. They were carrying a small briefcase.

"Inside here are contracts we'll need you kids to sign." Prof. Wolf said. The three teens nodded and the briefcase was held up to them and opened. Aris came up beside it and flashed a flashlight to look inside. There were three contracts and three pens all neatly laid out in the briefcase. They each grabbed a pen and started signing away, not even bothering to read the contents of the contracts.

The teens has asked if they were leaving that very moment, Wolf and Aris both shook their heads telling them they needed to pack their things, they would pick them up tomorrow.

(The Next Morning)

The three lab rats were up early looking around the two halves of their home one final time. Bree was sitting by the cyberdesk in thought, Adam was looking around the house upstairs, while Chase was reviving Eddie. Making sure the computer had no memory of what Chase and his siblings had done. Adam was snooping around Davenport's old things around the top half of the house, he found a box under a black silk blanket on a high shelf of a closet. He reached up to it and the box tumbled down and it opened dropping most of its contents. Adam was ready to scramble to the floor to hurriedly pick all the items back up and put them back before he noticed something about the contents of the box that had been spilled out. His eyes widened and hurriedly placed everything back in the box replaced the lid, closed the closet door, grabbed the box, and took off to the lab.

XXXX

Bree was sitting by the cyber desk now looking down at the floor, her chin resting on her hands.

"I can't believe I broke up with Ethan. I remember I said I wanted to get a boyfriend to break up with him… I take it all back now." Bree thought.

Chase was working on the finishing touches on Eddie's circuitry when Adam came running in.

"You won't believe what I found." Adam said catching his sibling's attention as he set the box over the cyber desk. Bree turned around in her chair and Chase left Eddie's circuitry box to load and reinstall in three hours and walked over to Adam.

"What is it?" Bree asked looking at the box. Adam opened it so Bree and Chase can take a look inside.

Chase and Bree's eyes both widened in shock.

"Are these… pictures of us?" Bree asked as she started pulling out, what looked like childhood pictures of herself and her brothers. Chase pulled out a few as he realized he had memories of all of these events, thanks to his memory storage in his bionic chip. At the time he must've not known Mr. Davenport had been taking pictures in the lab all these years.

"They look like pictures of us. That has to be me when I was seven years old." Bree said pulling out a picture from the box.

"Hey look, here's one of us celebrating Christmas in the lab, the time when Chase knocked me out for punching him with my boxing gloves." Adam said pulling out a picture. Chase dug through the box spotting several random pictures, each with the same background of the lab, and each one a memory he has stored in his bionic chip, not only that, the emotions he felt in most of them rushed back to him. He and his brother and sister were to leave in a few hours and he doesn't want to leave with a reminder of happy memories of a place that was never truly their home, with a man who didn't want to be their father, only their trainer and creator.

"Hey what's this picture?" Bree asked pulling out a picture of two toddlers and one infant. Adam and Chase came up beside Bree to view the picture. One looked like a boy, about two years old. Another of a girl who looked like a one year old, and in between them what looked like a newborn baby boy, wrapped in a blue blanket. They were each lying in separate cribs thst strangely resembled tiny capsules, they were each fast asleep, the two toddlers were in black and red jumpsuits with the Davenport Industries logo on them, the newborn wrapped in the blue blanket also had the logo stamped on it. The oldest boy had an oval white sticker with a black capital letter, 'A' label on his suit above his heart, the girl had, 'B', and the newborn had, 'C' on his blanket.

"I don't believe it, that's us." Chase said.

"Why can't you believe it, they have to be us." Bree said.

"I'm with Bree on this." Adam said.

"That's not it, I mean, I should have every memory of every point of my life, even up to the day I was born, maybe even before but for some reason, I'm having trouble detecting this memory in my database."

"Chase we were asleep. It makes sense that you don't remember this." Bree said. Chase thought about it for a minute before nodding.

"Yeah, I guess that makes a little sense." Chase said.

"Or…" Adam said, "maybe Mr. Davenport erased some of your memories, like how D's kidnapper scrambled with hers." Chase and Bree looked at Adam a bit in shock.

"You don't think Mr. Davenport would do that to us do you?" Chase asked. Adam looked at his siblings for a moment.

"Let's face it, he's already done… well a lot to us. He keeps secrets, we never got to see the outside world up until now, he's tried sending us away just for throwing a party, and is preventing us from visiting a friend who's just like us, I wouldn't be surprised if he went so low to have messed with all our memories too."

"Took out some and implanted new ones." Chase muttered looking at the baby picture of himself and his siblings. "But why?" He walked over to the box and searched through it a while longer along with his siblings trying to avoid happy memories as they did so. Chase dug through the very bottom of the box and found an old looking picture.

"Hey look at this." Chase said. Adam and Bree looked at Chase who was holding a picture of three young men. One looked like a younger version of Mr. Davenport around 20 years old. Beside him were two other young men, one who looked slightly younger with spiky, either dark brown or dirty blonde hair, and another around Davenport's age with jet black hair with a faux hawk haircut. They were all in graduation gowns and caps showing off their rolled up diplomas to the camera, each smiling excitedly, obviously with Davenport showing the most ego. Then again the youngest brown haired guy showed a similar amount of ego to Daveport, maybe (if possible to the teens' eyes) just a little more, while the black haired guy looked a little more humble but looked just as excited as the amount of ego the other two displayed.

"Who are these guys?" Adam asked.

"Well I know for a fact one of them is Mr. Davenport, the other two…" Chase stared at the picture a while longer. The brown hair color of the youngest and brown eyes looked familiar, the other man's jet black hair and eye color, looked familiar as well for some reason.

"For some reason they look familiar, but I don't know who they are." Chase said. "If only they had their diplomas open maybe I'd be able to tell."

"Well let's look in the box. Maybe there's another one of them." Adam said. The three teens went back to the box in search. But no, most of the pictures were of them as kids, they tried not feel nostalgic or guilty about that. They tried not to think about that maybe, just maybe, Mr. Davenport did hold some affection for them when clearly, to them, he didn't. They tried burying the guilt and nostalgia with the fact Mr. Davenport had a whole art room dedicated to himself when he only had a small box full of little pictures of them. They tried not to think about the idea that there were probably more pictures of them in this box than he had of himself in his large art room.

As they searched, searched, and searched, they had only managed to find five pictures of himself with the other two men. There was one of Davenport and the black haired man building what looked like a robot for a science project. No name to be found of the other man. Another of him hanging out with the dirty blonde at what looked like a college campus starbucks, another of what looked like the three of them at a college party with several unknown girls in their arms, while hanging out with a few other friends, they tried not to giggle at that one, Tasha would flip if she saw that photo no doubt, no wonder he kept it hidden. The last two, one of which just showed them hanging out at what looked like an academics club, most likely a robotics club, the last one was of the three of them showing off first prize trophies for a science fair competition. They were in luck with finding a name on this photo. Mr. Davenport was wearing a nametag on his lab coat, unfortunately the dirty blonde was holding out both the robot design and his first place trophy blocking out his nametag, while the last guy, the black haired one was holding out his trophy like Davenport, that's where they read the name, 'Asher Crow'.

"Who's Asher Crow?" Bree asked.

"Don't know, Mr. Davenport's never mentioned him before. Although, he does look a little familiar." Chase said.

"How come?" Adam asked.

"I don't know." Chase said.

"Why don't we just ask Mr. Davenport later then?" Adam asked. That's when reality hit Bree and Chase again. Chase turned his head to Adam.

"Adam, we're leaving today. After this, there'd be no point in asking Mr. Davenport anymore questions about him, or any of the secrets he's kept over the years. We're starting over at the facility Dr. Aris and Prof. Wolf are transferring to in Nevada."

"Oh… right." Adam said looking down.

"What's the matter?" Bree asked.

"It's just that, this place is home, it's always been home." Adam said looking at his siblings.

"No Adam, it's not." Chase said. He looked down at his watch.

"Mr. Davenport and Tasha will be up any minute. We have to put all this stuff back right away. Adam where did you find it?" Chase asked.

"On a top shelf of a closet upstairs under a black blanket." Adam said. All of the pictures were hurriedly placed back in the box and Bree sped up the stairs to place the box back where Adam found it. The two boys followed her upstairs to the living room where they hid their suitcases under the sofas. Bree came back down and they all started eating breakfast.

"What are you kids doing up early?" Tasha asked.

"Just felt like having an early breakfast." Chase said.

"Well I was planning on making pancakes for everyone instead. Aren't you kids going to want any?" Tasha asked. Adam was ready to speak up excitedly before Bree and Chase coughed into their throats shaking their heads. Tasha looked at the odd display.

"You kids alright?"

"Yeah. Don't worry." Chase said. Bree looked at her watch and decided to look up and smiled at Tasha.

"As a matter of fact, we think in a couple of hours, things are going to turn out great for everyone." Bree said. Tasha smiled a bit confused and tilted her head.

"What do you mean?"

"You'll see in a while." Chase said. Tasha walked over to Chase and Bree and hugged them both from behind.

"Well whatever it is I'm sure it'll be a great surprise." Tasha said. As Chase and Bree were held close by Tasha they kept trying to remind themselves,

"It's all a lie, it's all a lie, it's all a lie…" Tasha walked over to the stove to get things ready and started preparing the pancakes. The smell was mouthwatering to the three teens, they were all wishing they were going to get picked up at 5:00 a.m. instead to be able to avoid the delicious smell. Donald and Leo came downstairs already smelling the delicious pancakes.

"Ooh! I smell pancakes!" Donald said excitedly.

"So do I!" Leo cheered and the two practically made a race for it downstairs. As the whole family began eating together, the three bionic teens were beginning to lose their appetites. They were nearly ready to blurt out the truth and regret what they've done when they were saved by the doorbell.

"They're here." Bree said, sounding a bit relieved.

"What's here, the surprise?" Tasha asked smiling.

"Yeah… sort of." Chase said. Tasha gave a look of concern at Chase's words.

"Surprise what surprise?" Donald asked. Chase went to go open the door and to everyone's shock, Dr. Aris and Prof. Wolf were standing behind the door. At that Donald stood up abruptly.

"What the hell are you people doing here?" Donald demanded. Adam, Bree, and Chase started pulling out hidden suitcases from beneath the sofas, paying no mind to Mr. Davenport's out of character behavior. Leo looked at his bionic siblings in shock.

"What are you guys doing?"

"They're leaving." Aris said.

"What why?" Tasha asked massively confused.

"We don't belong here anymore." Adam said. Donald walked up to the kids.

"What are you talking about…?"

"It's obvious we never belonged here from the beginning. We're just leaving to give you guys the normal lives you guys always wanted." Bree said.

"That was the surprise?" Tasha made her way to the living room, "We love you kids, and we love the lives we have because you're all apart of it. You can't leave with them." Tasha said.

"You're lying!" Chase said ahouted at her. Making Tasha's eye widened in hurt. Donald turned to Chase both angry and even hurt for Tasha at his words.

"No she's not!" Leo said rushing his way to the living room. "Sure sometimes we complain a little, but that doesn't mean we don't care about who you guys really are."

"Tell me why you're all really leaving." Donald jerked his head towards Aris and Wolf glaring harshly, "What did you say to all of them. Did you and your little bionic girl brainwash them?"

"They didn't do anything to us." Adam said.

"Yeah we've just finally seen the light. Our whole lives we've only been living an illusion you created for us. You've never cared about us, and neither did your new family!" Chase exclaimed. Everyone minus his bionic siblings and the facility scientists looked at Chase in shock.

"That's not true." Davenport said.

"Yeah? Why did you lock us up in a basement all these years? You had such an easy time trying to get rid of us the first time, how's this time any different? We're sick of your secrets and lies!" Adam snarled. Donald looked at Adam, shocked at his words. He couldn't believe this is how the kids felt

"Kids, I know, it looked bad when I tried sending you away to Facility X, but that time was way different. You have to trust me." Donald said.

"Why should we?" Bree shot back. "It's obvious if we stay here things will only go back to the way things were. You keeping secrets and lying to support them." Tasha walked up to the kids.

"Kids you're not thinking straight. We don't want you kids to go anywhere. Your apart of our family."

"You know we've heard of kids living with people who acted like they cared about them but in the end it just turned out to be one big fat lie." Chase said.

"Where are you all getting all this from? Who told you we were lying?" Tasha asked.

"No one had to tell us anything." Adam said. Donald glared at Wolf and Aris. He grabbed Wolf by the collar of his lab coat and and held it harshly.

"What did you tell them!? I won't let you take them!"

"Like I said before, it has always been their choice." Wolf said. Donald's eyes widened as he turned to the three smirking kids. Aris pulled out the contracts.

"They signed this." Aris said. Donald's eyes widened. He let go of Wolf throwing him back angrily and snatched the contracts and skimmed them over.

"What is this?" Donald demanded.

"This means these children," Wolf gestured to Adam, Bree, and Chase, "are under my custody, under my name. Like Dianica belongs to Aris, your bionic creations, now belong to me." Davenport jerked his head to the bionic teens.

"Why would you guys sign this?"

"I thought we made that clear earlier. We don't belong here! We never belonged here! You gave us what we wanted but it was a lie. Being bionic spies is what we're meant to be, and we're not throwing fifteen, sixteen, and seventeen years of training into the trash." Chase said. Donald's eyes looked at the kids in hurt and shock.

"Kids, this life I gave you, it was never…"

"They don't need any explanation from you, Donald." Wolf said he turned to the teens. "Come on. The truck's waiting outside." The bionic teens started heading to the door. Leo looked at them in shock and shook his head not accepting this while his mom had her hands over her mouth in fear. Leo sped over to his siblings and grabbed Bree's hand.

"Guys you can't go. This is where you guys belong. With us. We're a family. I don't know what these psychos told you but they're the ones who're lying, not us." Bree looked at Leo, her eyes slightly watering. Chase shook his head.

"We have to leave." Bree said her voice shaky.

"No you're not!" Leo said and hurried to reach his siblings, before he made it to them Bree sped out the door leaving a blurred image behind, with Adam and Chase hurrying out after her. Leo had only managed to grasp at Chase's shirt for a half a second before losing his hold when he'd raced out the door. Wolf and Aris, without so much as a farewell walked away from the door, slamming the door behind them. Donald wasted no time in grabbing the door knob swinging the door open and rushing out to the driveway and down the sidewalk. All three teens hurried into the truck and slammed the passenger door by the time Donald reached them. He tried prying open the car door. The lock made it impossible. He tried shouting in the window. They looked at him confused as if they barely heard him, even Chase looked like he couldn't hear a word he was saying. Donald began to slam on the truck window even harder and suddenly, the one and only thing he'd always dreaded to ever see, flashed in the eyes of his kids. It wasn't betrayal, anger, or hate. It was fear. Donald came to the other side of the truck.

"You cannot take them!" Donald snarled at Wolf and Aris.

"We told you all along it was their choice." Wolf said.

"No, that's nothing but a load of bull! You manipulated their decision! Before they ever met you two they never considered me as someone who was emotionally harming them…"

"You don't know that." Aris cut in. "Maybe that's how they always felt deep down, we just helped them realize the truth before they'd get hurt." There was so much fury in Donald's eyes they would flare red if possible. He lunged himself at Aris and Wolf ready to fight for his kids. Aris wasted no time in jabbing Donald in the gut and kicking him to the ground to give himself and Wolf time to get in the truck and drive off. Donald scrambled to his feet trying to place a grip on the already moving truck, unfortunately his hand only skid alongside the truck and it drove off.

Donald doubled over holding his stomach trying to recover from the sharp blow given to him by Aris. Tasha and Leo watched him and hurried over to him. Tasha placed an arm over his shoulder and wrapped another one in front of him.

"Are you alright? What happened? What did they do to you? Where are our kids?!" Tasha nearly shrieked the last question. He tried responding which only came out as heavy gasps.

"Come on Leo help me get him inside." Tasha ordered. Leo was still a bit shell shocked over what had happened looking in the direction where the truck had gone off to. When his mom had called out to him he was pulled out of his shock and hurried to his stepfather's side and helped him get into their… torn apart home.

XXXX

As the truck moved away from the Davenport household all three teens in the back sat silently. However, Bree was the first to speak up.

"Did you have to hit him?" She asked.

"He tried to attack us. Don't you think that would be a sign of power hunger? He wanted to demonstrate he could over power me in a fight, and if he had you three at his side, he surely would have. I had to show him strength could come in a singularity, not by using slaves to do his bidding. If anything wouldn't you kids agree he deserved it?" Aris asked from the front passenger seat while twirling two spheres together.

"Well, when you put it like that…" Chase said trailing off.

"Precisely," Aris said, hiding a smirk.

"By the way," Wolf started from the driver's seat, "Dianica is ecstatic to have heard you three decided to join us and my son will be at the new HQ and he's looking forward to meeting all of you."

"Yeah?" Adam asked. Wolf nodded.

XXXX

Leo and Tasha helped Donald to the couch.

"Leo go get the first aid kit." Tasha said. Leo nodded hurrying off to a hallway closet with a first aid kit inside.

In the living room, Donald lifted up part of his shirt to reveal a heavily forming bruise on his stomach. Tasha had to try to hold in a gasp at the sight.

Leo reached up the top of the closet to grab the first aid kid while accidently knocking over a large box of photographs and hurried back into the living room.

"Woah!" Leo said when he caught sight of Donald's bruise.

"They did that to you?" Leo asked.

"Hand me the first aid kit Leo." Tasha said. Leo did just that and Tasha got to work in treating Donald's bruise.

Once the bruise was treated Donald felt ready to talk. Tasha sat beside him ready to hear every word.

He explained to them how the kids looked at him when he tried talking to them. The conversation he'd had with them the night of the dinner, the day they went to go meet Dianica and now, how they continuously mentioned it would be there choice if they wished to join them. At that Leo guiltly mentioned they snuck out of the house the previous day to visit Dianica, Prof. Wolf and Dr. Aris might've told them something then. He even mentioned the fight they'd had and what Leo had told them. The guilt was clearly shown all over his face and heard in his face. He buried his face in his hands. Tasha sat beside Leo and held him close.

"Leo… this wasn't your fault." Tasha soothed.

"She's right." Donald said sitting himself straight. "It's theirs and I'm going to get them back if it's the last thing I do."

XXXX

Adam, Bree, and Chase were all snoring in the back of the truck as they drove away from California and entering the state of Nevada.

It was dark out as the truck drove between trees in a forest. They came to an abrupt stop which startled the three teens. They each looked around trying to make sense of their surroundings. Wolf and Aris both came out of the truck, they unlocked the doors and opened the second door of the struck allowing the three teens out.

"Where are we?" Bree asked.

"Nevada." Dr. Aris said.

"where in Nevada?" Adam asked.

"we're not far from the border." Wolf said locking the doors to the truck with a hand held button.

"Come on, the facility's not far." Wolf said guiding them down the dark forest path illuminated by a faint blue light.

"How'd you guys manage to get a facility out here in time to avoid D's kidnapper?" Chase asked.

"D? I see you've gotten familiar with Dianica very quickly." Dr. Aris said. Chase blushed and stammered. Adam and Bree both laughed at him.

"I'm joking." Dr. Aris said, "And don't speak of such things out loud, he could be lurking at any corner." That made the teens shudder as they continued walking down the path.

They walked a few more yards before finally arriving at a wide open area in the middle of the forest. There was a huge science lab facility sitting in the middle of the wide open area.

"Cool this place looks bigger than the last one." Adam said looking at the huge facility.

"Well yes, we're hoping this place will become a permanent residence for all of us." Prof. Wolf said.

"Well, let's get you children inside." Dr. Aris said as he started walking towards the entrance. Everyone followed him. The inside looked no different than the last facility, it was lit up warmly and had a sanitized yet comforting smell. The teens felt almost at home. Aris turned off the blue lantern he'd been using to guide them down the forest. He gestured the teens to follow and guided them from the entrance looby down to several seemingly endless halls before stopping at a dead-end. There the same thing was done as before Wolf laid a hand on the dead-end wall. It lit up and slid up open. There was the elevator. Everyone entered and the button SB 98 was pressed.

"What's sublevel 98?" Bree asked.

"This facility is an exact replica of the old facility, the only difference is the outside. sublevel 98 is still the lab, sublevel 99 is still the living quarters.

"Why do you still have sublevel 100? Dianica said that's just an abandoned floor. That you guys were planning on demolishing." Chase said.

"We're rebuilding it here." Wolf said.

"Hm." Chase hummed in thought leaning against the elevator wall.

As soon as making it down to sublevel 98 everyone stepped out of the elevator letting the wall slide up behind them. They were led down the same route they had taken last time. There they were led to Dianica's lab, there were the same simulator, monitor, Dianica's tube and the curtain surrounding it in the middle of the room, and the same curved black leather couches that were there before. Only there were two people sitting on it facing away from them. One of them was a girl with ebony black shoulder length hair the other was a boy with short brown hair. The ebony haired girl turned around in her seat as soon as hearing footsteps entering the lab. She smiled at them and shot up from the couch running straight towards the new comers.

"You're here!" She called out to them as she ran towards them.

"Hey Dianica!" The three bionic teens all greeted. Bree was the first to hug her, then Adam who gave her a welcoming embrace which she gladly excepted. Chase made no move to hug Dianica considering he could've sworn he saw Dr. Aris shoot him a split second side glare so instead Chase brought out his hand for a handshake. Dianica shook her head amusedly and wrapped her arms around Chase's neck and enveloped him in an embrace. Chase was frozen for a few seconds before returning the embrace. Dianica looked at every one of them taking in the fact they were all really here.

"I'm so happy you guys decided to join us. Come on I wanna introduce you to someone." She was about to take them to the couch where the brown haired boy was sitting before Dr. Aris stopped her.

"Dianica wait, don't you think that should be Prof. Wolf's honor considering that is his son. Dianica pouted and turned to Prof. Wolf. She placed her hands on her hips stubbornly.

":Well? What are you waiting for professor?"

"Alright, alright. Come now." Prof. Wolf said as he guided the four teens to the couch. They stopped a few feet behind the couch when Prof. Wolf said,

"Son stand up, the new comers have arrived. Why don't you introduce yourself?" Prof. Wolf said. The brown haired boy on the couch stood up and turned around to face them. Dianica, Wolf, and Aris all smiled, while Adam Bree and Chase's eyes all widened.

"Marcus…?"

A/N:

Okay, you all saw that coming. I don't post for a long time and I leave you guys with obvious cliff hanger. I am sooo sorry please don't hate me the next chapter won't be so obvious and I promise to post as soon as possible.
