Chapter 1: Rin's Savior.

"Rin slow down!" Jaken shouted, the little toad demon panting after her.

"Come on Master Jaken, it's right this way." Rin said as she stopped for a second to let him catch up.

"We are moving farther and farther away from Lord Sesshomaru, we should go back." Jaken said.

"It's right past these trees." Rin said.

Indeed, when they passed the trees, they came to Rin's favorite place, that she wanted to show Jaken and Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru said he would come maybe another time, but of course Jaken was your everyday natural babysitter.

"Isn't it lovely!" Rin asked as she ran into the field of multi-colored flowers.

"Yes, now can we go back?" Jaken asked.

"Silly, you haven't even seen the whole place." Rin said.

Jaken just wanted to go back, but he knew he had to keep an eye on the girl, or Sesshomaru would of course death threat him.

Jaken slowly followed Rin, and he noticed something moving.

It moved so fast it was a blur, but whatever it was, was heading straight for Rin, after a good look, Jaken knew who it was.

Sesshomaru caught a scent of his worthless halfbreed brother, but this time, he caught his full demon scent.

It came from Rin's direction.

Not her!

Sesshomaru was off in a blink of an eye.

...

Rin heard the grass ruffling faster than her feet were moving, she turned just in time to see who looked just like Lord Sesshomaru, he had his claws outstretched, and tried to slash Rin, but she ducked, letting herself fall to the ground.

When the figure stopped before her, it was InuYasha, what was wrong with eyes? Where was Kagome? Why was he alone, most importantly, where was Lord Sesshomaru?

She heard him pop his knuckles, his nails seeming to sharpen.

'Lord Sesshomaru!' Rin screamed as she tried to crawl away from InuYasha.

A white light was flying past her, and hurled at InuYasha.

Rin turned, seeing the white light shoving InuYasha back as far as possible.

The white light threw InuYasha to the ground, then moved away from him.

The light disappeared, making the form of Lord Sesshomaru.

"InuYasha, you have dont it again." Sesshomaru said.

InuYasha stood up again, though he did look in pain.

He charged Sesshomaru, which he just sent his poison nails at him, and simply tossed him back even more.

"Rin, get out of here." Sesshomaru ordered, as he went for InuYasha again before he could get up.

"Let's go Rin!" Jaken said.

Ah-Un came out of the skies, picking up Rin.

She didn't want to leave Lord Sesshomaru, InuYasha was pretty scary when he lost himself.

Ah-Un was stopped by a big cat in front of him.

"Rin, what are you doing? Where is Sesshomaru" Kagome asked.

"Lord Sesshomaru is fighting InuYasha." Rin said.

"Kirara, go." Sango ordered.

The big cat growled, and flew past Ah-Un, Rin watched as they went to help Sesshomaru, which he didn't like one bit.

Kagome's one word knocked out InuYasha easily. 'Sit.'

When Kagome approached the unconscious demon, she pulled out something, a tainted jewel.

Ah-Un dropped down from the sky, and Rin got off, moving to Lord Sesshomaru.

"He would be better off dead." Sesshomaru said.

"Don't say that." Kagome said.

Sesshomaru remained quiet, as he turned, walking past Rin, which she followed.

"I am sorry Lord Sesshomaru, I shouldn't have gone too far." Rin said.

He didn't answer, it wasn't her fault, he sighed to himself, and told himself, 'See this is what happens when you leave her alone.'

"Was this the field you were talking about?" Sesshomaru asked her.

"Yes, do you like it?" She asked.

He slightly nodded, and remained silent the rest of the way of wherever they were heading.

A/N: I know, suckish ending, but hey, we all know that Sesshomaru would beat the crap out of anyone who would try to hurt Rin.
