*drumroll please*

"And the Oscar for Best Actress goes to….. Rachel Puckerman!"

The crowd erupted in applause as the cameras zoomed towards Rachel to capture her reaction. Smiling, she turned to her right and gave her husband a kiss and then stood up and headed towards the podium.

Climbing the stairs of the stage seemed to take forever. Rachel could barely see clearly because of the tears streaming down her face and all of the flashes from the cameras taking her pictures. She kept repeating the words "don't trip, don't trip" in her head. Her gold Versace dress didn't allow much movement and she was currently regretting her fashion choice.

Rachel finally made it to the podium and was given a kiss on the cheek as Meryl Streep handed Rachel her Oscar. Rachel had practiced her acceptance speech for more than two decades but for the first time in her life was at a loss for words.

Leaning into the microphone, Rachel began speaking;

"All my life I have been preparing for this moment. I always imagined this would be the greatest day of my life, officially earning an award in every field of entertainment. And while I am honored and extremely grateful, I have to say this day comes in second when ranking the greatest days of my life".

Searching for her husband in the crowd, and then meeting his gaze she continued, "I once said that I did not believe in fate. That I was in total control of my destiny. But I was wrong. Fate allowed me to accomplish my greatest achievement which is marrying the love of my life. Noah, you make every day of my life feeling as if I won a million Oscars. Thank you for always believing in me. And thank you to everyone else in my life who believed and encouraged me to follow my goals. I just want to say one more thing before the music cuts me off. To all the kids out there getting bullied, I was there. I know how it feels, but just never lose sight of your dreams. They may not understand you now, but years from now when you're successful they will never forget you. And Glee club is cool!"

Rachel smiled into the cameras and made her way backstage. Making her way towards the press room, she was interrupted by a kiss from Noah.

"So how does it feel to be the youngest EGOT winner in history?" Noah asked.

"Honestly I don't feel any differently", Rachel replied.

"Well you're gonna have to give a better response than that, they're gonna ask you that same question over and over again. You know it's really your fault for being so damn talented" Noah smirked. "But I am really proud of you babe. You've been talking about this since we were kids and here you are. You know what that means right?"

"I'm talented?" Rachel guessed.

"No it means you're getting some celebratory dick tonight" Noah whispered in her ear. Noah laughed watching Rachel turn 10 shades of red. After all this time he still was able to make blush with his crude remarks.

At that moment Rachel's manager began yelling for her to enter the press room. Noah gave Rachel another kiss and slapped her ass as she walked away.

"I'll meet you back at the hotel so we can change for the after-party" Rachel yelled as she was whisked away into the room.

Puck nodded at her and began to walk towards the valet to get his car. Rachel had arrived in a limo, but he decided not to join her so he wouldn't have to be stranded since he was so sure she was going to win. While most people would assume he felt inferior to his talented wife, how he really felt couldn't be further from the truth. He knew firsthand how much work and dedication it took to be as successful as Rachel and he had no desire to try to emulate her success. Noah was fine starring in his kick ass movies and working behind the scenes as a director. Besides, if he was as busy as she was they would never have time to actually enjoy each other's company—and bodies.

When Noah entered their hotel room, he first put on the TV to catch the news. Sure enough Rachel's big win was the biggest headline. He smiled as they replayed her big speech. Noah never felt as loved as he did right then hearing her speak about their relationship. It was the shining moment of her career and instead of focusing on herself she had focused on him. To think just a few months ago she was set to marry someone else. He thought back onto that fateful day.

*six months earlier*

Noah watched Rachel stare up at the billboard and saw her look of absolute shock. The crowd before them began to part like the Red Sea until he was just a foot away from her. When he met her face to face he slowly kneeled down on one knee.

Rachel began crying instantly. "Noah what are you doing?"

"What I should have done a long time ago Rach. I let you go because I thought that was what was best for you. But now I'm leaving it up to you. You can say no and I'd understand completely. But frankly I'm done wasting time. I don't think you and I ending up at the same place and time is by chance. I think it's fate. The universe wants us together as do I.
I love you and I think you love me too. So will you please make me the luckiest man on Earth?"

Rachel gave Noah the biggest smile and yelled "YES!"

Noah pulled out the ring he had just purchased seconds ago and put it on her finger and quickly scooped Rachel up into his arms.

The crowd began cheering as they kissed. Some people were even asking if they were witnessing a scene from a movie because of how perfect it all seemed.

Because Rachel had already scheduled time off from her show they decided to get their marriage license at City Hall and have a ceremony back at Lima to celebrate with their friends and family.

Noah was reminiscing about their perfect wedding when he heard the door open. He quickly sat up from the bed and greeted his wife.

Rachel smiled and said "Now how about the celebratory dick you promised me?"

A/N: My apologies for how long this took me to finish. To be honest I just don't love Glee the way I used to so it's hard watching it, let alone writing about it. They've ruined Rachel to the point where I don't even recognize the character anymore. And they've completely wasted Noah's character.

Anyway thank you all for reading/reviewing. I have another story I will be posting soon. Hope you all check it out.

Btw I'm still terribly shocked by Cory's death. It's no secret I'm no fan of Finchel, but it will be very sad not to see him anymore!
