Learning The Alphabet with Leah: The Doctor is In
A Leah and Carlisle Story
Eavesdropping-"Leah would you get over here?"-Sam chuckled as he watched his nosey girlfriend lean towards the front window, with her tongue hanging out as she strained to listen.
"Shhh,"-she hushed, flagging him off as she leaned in a little further; Sam stood from the porch swing.
"Leah stop eavesdropping. If you lean any further you're going to fa-"-just as he said it Leah went toppling forward with a screech that almost made Sam's ears bleed. He cringed but used his recently acquired speed to catch her before she fell, scooping her into his arms.
"Oh my god!"-she breathed as she clutched her chest. She started shaking and realized it wasn't from her and looked to Sam who was biting his lip, fighting back hysterics.
"I told you to stop eavesdropping and that you were going to fall."-he laughed out right in her face.
"Shut it!"-she hissed but couldn't help but smile and burry her face in his neck as her own laughs took over. Harry and Sue, more so Harry, came bursting out the front door, Harry looking freaked from Sam to Leah then Sam.
"What did you do?"-he asked slowly, but with fear in his eyes and a questioning look that Sam knew what he was asking.
"Nothing everything thing is fine. Leah is the same way she was this morning as she is right now. Not a scratch or bruise on her."-Sam said with a nod. Harry gave Leah a once over and sighed relieved, returning Sam's nod. Her being with Sam, he didn't know what he'd find when he heard Leah scream and shuffling. Sam set her on her feet.
"What the heck are you two doing out here you almost gave Harry a heart attack?"-Sue chuckled as she glanced at a scowling Harry.
"Oh nothing!"-Leah said a little too quickly and her eyes were shining brightly. Sue put her hand on her hip and Harry squinted at her.
"Spit it out."-Sue said. Leah's cheeks puffed out as she tried to keep under control, but she burst with much excitement.
"Emily is coming! She's coming tomorrow to my surprise birthday party!"-she shouted. Sue and Harry threw their hands up; Sam covered his face to hide his smile.
"You were eavesdropping as usual weren't you?"-Harry admonished.
"I tried to stop her."-Sam said with his hands up.
"Now you've ruined it! It was supposed to be a surprise Leah!"-Sue said annoyed.
"Yeah so was the party."-Harry rolled his eyes.
"Thank you thank you! Oh my gosh I'm having a surprise birthday party and Emily is coming, I can't wait!"-she exclaimed and hugged her parents.
"Well it was a surprise party. You better fake surprised when you walk through the door tomorrow."-Harry said wagging his finger.
"I will dad I promise!"-she smiled and started jumping around Sam doing a dance.
"That's your daughter Harry."-Sue said as the two walked back into the house.
"Hey you only said it was my daughter you could've stepped out on me. For all I know she's Billy's."-he said before running up the stairs laughing, with Sue chasing him with a couch pillow.
"Did you hear that Sam, Emily is coming! I haven't seen her in months."-she smiled as he grabbed her shoulders to keep her from going around him once more. She bounced on the balls of her feet.
"Yes I know I'm standing right here."-he rolled his eyes.
"Please don't look so thrilled."-Leah deadpanned.
"She's your cousin not mine, plus she's, no offense, a little boring. I don't know what you two could possibly talk about for hours. Every time she's here she just wants to bake muffins or talk about home décor. I don't know how anyone puts up with her, anyone that isn't over the age of eighty that is."-he said. Leah balled her fist and just before she hit him, Sam smiled and took off in the woods with Leah right behind him.
L+C=L+C=L+C=L+C=L+C
"So don't forget when we open the door wait for them to actually yell surprise first before reacting."-Sam instructed as he opened her passenger door. Although Leah ruined her parents surprise for her birthday, she wasn't able to ruin Sam's, nobody could because nobody knew. They'd all find out tonight.
"Duh Sam I think I would have figured that out."-she rolled her eyes as he took her hand, her newly accessorized hand.
"You're a major over actress Leah I just want it to come off as somewhat believable."-he said as he heard everyone shushing each other inside the house.
"Am not! I am in the drama guild at school asshat."-she said as they stepped up to the door.
"Yup, and why do you think you're always a tree or a squirrel?"-he said with an eyebrow raised. He knew she would chew him out so he quickly opened the door.
"Surprise!"-everyone yelled as the lights came on; the house was packed with half the reservation it would seem. Leah gasped wildly, threw her arms in the air and fell back into the wall with a loud thump, before covering her mouth with an outrageously shaky hand; her eyes were as wide as saucers.
"Oh…I…mother father you shouldn't have!"-she cried and Seth huffed.
"She knows!"-he said loudly and everyone groaned and threw their hands in the air.
"You were eavesdropping weren't you?"-Billy accused and her face heated up.
"I told you."-Sam whispered in her ear before kissing her cheek.
"Oh shut up."-she mumbled.
"Well let's party then!"-Paul shouted, so Seth turned up the music and they got the party started.
"Leah!"-a voice called and Leah smiled widely.
"I'll see you later have fun baby."-Sam mumbled, kissed her, and made a hasty retreat before Emily came over and bored him to death.
The party had been going on for a couple of hours when Sam thought it was time he and Leah announced a surprise of their own, so he went to find Leah who was in the backyard sitting with Emily who had her back to him.
"Hey Lee-Lee, I think maybe it's time."-he said pointedly and she smiled, jumping up.
"Me too,"-she smiled and took his hand and they kissed before a throat was cleared. "Oh, don't be rude say hi to Emily."-Leah said, but couldn't get that silly smile off her face as she played with her ring finger and nervously bit her lip.
"Stop fussing it's nothing to be nervous about and you look beautiful. That color really works on you."-he whispered against her lips before kissing her; she'd dyed her hair red at the salon this morning and he could barely keep his hands off her she looked so good. He pecked her once more before turning to Emily. Their eyes connected.
He stood staring at Emily, heart pounding, eyes wide, throat dry. He let go of Leah's hand and couldn't even hear her as she worriedly called his name. He felt like he was being connected to her and couldn't stop it or look away. After what felt like an eternity he came back to, blinking rapidly as he tried to catch his breath.
"Sam honey are you ok?"-Leah asked frantically. Harry and the other members of the council looked over frowning, but before they could make it over to Sam he ran off into the woods. Emily sat confused but biting her lip to keep from smiling at the way Sam had looked at her and unconsciously fixed her hair and adjusted her clothes. Leah was in tears and had to be taken into the house. The party was officially over.
Later that night Leah woke with a start when she rolled over and saw Sam sitting in her chair across from her bed watching her.
"Sam what happened, where'd you go? I was so worried about you how could you just run off like that? I thought you weren't going to come back…like last time."-she cried and he quickly went over to her, shushing her. He wrapped his arms around her and laid down with her tucked to his chest, pulling the sheet around them.
He'd run for hours freaked to high hell. He had no clue what happened or why it happened and didn't know why he had such a painful ache in his chest, an ache that lessoned considerably when he came back to the Clearwater's. He'd watched Leah restlessly sleeping for a couple hours and felt horrible when he saw her tear streaked face and worry lines even in her sleep. All the love he had for her was still there, he still wanted her and only her but he felt weird and slightly incomplete, it growing by the hour.
"I got so nervous I freaked. I feel like a complete ass for running off like that Lee Lee. I'm so sorry."-he whispered into her hair. He knew whatever was wrong had to be because of the wolf so he couldn't tell her.
"Don't ever do that again."-she mumbled sleepily, just happy to have him back and couldn't help but chuckle at the whole thing. Sam tucked in further and went to sleep but all night he smelled a scent that called to him and felt a pull from across the hall but stayed the night with Leah.
The next morning after having snuck out of Leah's window, he came over for breakfast, to spend time with Leah. He was stopped in his tracks when he saw Emily sitting at the table eating breakfast. She smiled brightly when she saw him, like she usually did when she was in town, but this time there was a gleam in her eye.
"Hey guys,"-he mumbled
"Leah told us you felt sick and were embarrassed and that's why you ran off like that. Don't do that to my daughter again and on her birthday or you and I will have a serious problem am I clear?"-Sue chastised
"Yes ma'am, I'm sorry."-he mumbled and was about to walk over to Emily due to a force he couldn't see, before, with much effort, sitting next to Leah and kissing her on the lips. He felt no different about her but felt a strong pull to her cousin he was confused about.
"What are you still doing here?"-he asked Emily in as normal a voice as he could muster. She smiled.
"I thought I'd extend my stay a little longer. After all I haven't seen Leah in a few months."-she said as she looked at him intently. She saw the way he'd looked at her; she's boring not blind. He swallowed hard.
"How long?"-he breathed and coughed to cover it.
"As long as it takes."-she thought she'd whispered to herself and his eyes widened. "Oh I don't know."-she smiled sweetly and went back to eating. Sam sat looking at her with his heart pounding before reminding himself to eat and breathe. Throughout breakfast he fought his wolf, and between doting all his attention on Leah or Emily.
Emily's stay was far longer than anyone expected, but to Leah's surprise she wasn't around as much as she'd thought she would be and it seemed she was always intruding on her and Sam's time. Sam was always there, I mean always. He was always around to begin with, but now…he was a piece of furniture. But Leah figured, on the plus side he and Emily were finally talking and really getting along, he seemed to hang on her every word even. The down side was that Sam seemed to be distancing himself from Leah one minute then all over her the next, and he had his guilty face more often than not. Whenever he did something he felt guilty about he had this face he'd make and he'd been wearing it for weeks now. Most times he couldn't even look her in the eye.
One night Leah went to return Quil's mom's baking pan and when she came back, neither Sam nor Emily was on the couch where she'd left them.
"Sam, Emily…"-she called but there was no answer; Seth was off causing trouble no doubt.
"Sam, Emily!"-she called louder as she went upstairs. She heard what sounded like a muffled moan and stopped in her tracks.
"I must be hearing things."-she mumbled and slowly, on shaky legs, kept going. There was a muffled grunt next and it was all coming from her room. She gaged thinking it was her parents and was about to run out the house when she remembered they were both still at work. She slowly cracked the door open and her hand flew over her mouth at what she saw.
There was Sam naked on top of a naked Emily with her legs spread wide and Sam between them. They were both sweating and panting as he lay spent. Sam sat up and put his head in his hands.
"Emily we can't keep doing this. I'm with Leah, I love Leah, I can't do this to her."-he said in a distressed voice. Leah's legs were glued to the spot as she leaned in to listen to the two backstabbers, tears running down her face. Emily sat up leaning on him.
"Sam I'm your imprint. Leah will get over it. You're meant for me not her."-Emily whispered in his ear, massaging his shoulders.
"And you know I can't refuse you. But why not a friend or something else? How can you do this to Leah? Eventually we're going to get caught and then what?"-he said trying to fight the erection that was blowing up like a balloon from her touch.
"We'll worry about it when it happens but eventually you're going to have to break it off with her anyway."-she said kissing his neck and that's when Sam finally caught her scent, the scent of tears, and her heartbeat. His head snapped up and Emily followed his gaze. Their eyes widened when they saw Leah standing there, tears all over her shocked, hurt face. They had shame enough to cover themselves …with Leah's sheet and pillow.
"Leah!"-they both shouted as Emily hid behind Sam, desperately trying to wrap the sheet around herself.
"How could you!"-Leah shouted just as her parents pulled up in the driveway.
"Leah it's n-"
"Shut up Sam! How could you, how could you! In my house, in my bed!"-Leah sobbed as she sunk to her knees. Tears ran down Sam's face and the love he had for Leah was still there but it was fading. He felt like complete shit and had no idea how to fix this. He stood and slowly moved towards her.
"Leah he wasn't meant for you he was meant for me. You'll never understand but you have to accept us. I love Sam and he loves me; we're together now."-Emily said as she followed behind Sam and pulled him back. Two things happened at once: the love Sam held for Leah shifted to Emily times a thousand, with Leah's love buried beneath it, sinking fast, and Leah jumped up snatching her bat as she went.
"Leah put the bat down."-Sam cautioned. His wolf was now very, incredulously protective and possessive of Emily, he hadn't been until she spoke her words. The imprint was sealing itself off with finality now that Emily had chosen what to make him. He was getting defensive and panicked because no one would hurt Emily, but he didn't want to hurt Leah either, he couldn't he loves her, loved her, loves her, damnit!
"Your relationship wasn't even that serious. But we, ours is Leah you'll come to see that."-Emily said still cowardly tucked behind Sam who'd slightly started shaking. He faintly heard footsteps racing upstairs towards them.
"Does this look like it wasn't serious!"-Leah yelled as she yanked her engagement ring from her finger and threw it at Sam; he caught it and stared at it in his palm. Emily gawked at it and Sam lightly closed his fist around it, fighting back a sob; he wanted Leah he never even really liked Emily just tolerated her for Leah's sake. He wanted Leah! Everything was perfect, he and Leah were perfect, now…
"You proposed to her how could you?"-Emily cried and Sam looked at her incredulously but his heart hurt when he saw her crying, but that made Leah snap, just as Harry and Sue gasped and shouted at the scene.
Leah charged at Emily with the bat, fully intending on beating her to death. Sam was angry at the Cullens for making him phase, angry at himself for being so weak and hurting Leah, angry at Emily for choosing him in such a way and hurting Leah, and furious and defensive towards Leah as he saw her charge at Emily. He shook so bad things fell from the vanity, his eyes turned yellow as they zeroed in on Leah going for Emily, his imprint. He growled and shook preparing to lunge when Harry snagged Leah by the waist and pull her out the room same time he pushed Sue back.
"Get out now!"-he shouted to Sue once they reached the stairs.
Sue looked at him shocked, petrified, and confused, but grabbed a sobbing Leah and ran out of the house. When they got outside Leah pushed away from Sue and bolted for the forest.
"Leah, Leah sweetie please come ba-"-she was cut off by a ferocious growl, and an agonizing scream followed by a frantic, shouting Sam. She was torn between going after her baby who had to be in shear agony or going to see what was obviously going to be something bad, really bad. She called Leah once more before running in the house with tears in her eyes.
Leah raced through the woods at top speed for a day straight on pure heartbreak. When she'd finally stopped she had no idea where she was and dropped, leaning on a tree completely drained of energy and emotion. She sat there for a while just blank when she heard what sounded like voices. She couldn't help but get up and follow them. When she saw two people talking, she hid behind a tree and watched a red haired women talk and kiss on a blond haired boy.
"The little one will see me so it has to be this way. Don't you want to help me Riley, don't love me?"-she pouted before kissing him. Leah moved in a little closer to hear better.
"Yes you know I do! Tell me what you need Victoria."-he hissed as she kissed his neck, grabbing her tighter. That's when the red head looked up, straight at Leah. Leah gasped at her eyes, her red eyes to match her hair and at being caught. She turned to run but collided with the red head woman with the blond haired man standing behind her with his arms crossed.
"And where do you think you're going?"-she taunted
"I…I…I didn't…"-Leah stuttered, fright taking over.
"She smells,"-the man said as he took a sniff; the red head tilted her head and they eyed Leah oddly.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you it's rude to eavesdrop?"-the red head smiled evilly; Leah's eye's widened.
L+C=L+=L+C=L+C=L+C=L+C
Month after month went by, boy after boy phased, but never any signs of Leah.
That day and the days following many things changed: Sam was now with Emily, Sue had nothing to do with neither Sam nor Emily and wanted to kill them both, Emily was now disfigured with hideous scars covering half her face, and most importantly there was no sign of Leah, none.
In the beginning Sam felt so guilty and worthless between what he'd done to Leah and Emily, he threw himself off a cliff to end it all, but came to find out that with being a wolf it was just like jumping off a low level diving board to him. After that he'd come up to the cliffs every day just continuously throwing himself off the cliff until he was exhausted or the imprint kicked in. Eventually it just became a recreational thing for him and eventually the other wolves. In rare moments when he could, he hated Emily with all he had and wanted nothing more than to finish what he started, but then the imprint would tug painfully and he'd go back to her, the woman that drove a wedge between he and Leah.
He'd go out looking for Leah for as long as he could before he needed to see Emily to stop the tug. Day and night, no breaks, no food, no anything but looking for Leah for two months straight, but nothing. Eventually Emily told him to stop because he was killing himself and that if Leah wasn't back by now there's no telling where she is; she was upset, but they still had her lives to live. And now that he has an entire pack to command he had no choice but to focus on them, nomads, and the dangers that one Isabella Swan continuously caused. So now he just mourned Leah every night while holding a sound sleeping Emily in his arms, silently crying himself to sleep.
There were constantly vampires in the area and it'd been getting worse the past two weeks. Jacob continues to selfishly manipulate their job to protect into getting the pack to help protect Bella even though she and her leech caused the mess. They were gathered in a clearing having a meeting with the Cullens because the weird midget had a "vision".
"Go on Alice."- Edward said, already having seen it in her mind.
"It's an army. Someone is building an army of newborns and they're coming here."-she said stiff as a statue as she stared at nothing. The pack starting barking and growling before Sam put his hand up silencing them.
"When,"
"For who,"-was asked
"They'll be here tomorrow at midnight to sneak attack. They're coming…for Bella."-she said strangled as she looked at Bella; Jasper rubbed her back.
"Good let them have her."-Rosalie said and it was followed by a hiss and a growl. Sam glared at Jacob who'd phased back and come running back over barely having his pants up.
"Like hell they will! Bella don't worry we won't let them hurt you."-he said going over to her.
"Don't go anywhere near her. You've already done enough-"
"She's the one that chose to punch a wolf I didn't do it on purpose bloodsucker! And it's far less than what you'll do to her!"
"Is that so mu-"
"Yeah it i-"
"Enough! Jacob get back over here with your own kind."-Sam commanded, breaking up Jacob's fight with Bella's lover. Jacob against his will came back over with the pack.
"Yeah and don't go volunteering our services to her. Like the blond bitch said let them have her."-Paul said, arms crossed, sneer on his gorgeous face. Rosalie flipped her hair; Jacob growled but stopped walking towards Paul when Sam glared at them both.
"Are you sure?"-Sam asked Alice and she stiffly nodded along with Edward since he'd seen.
"Then we'll meet here tomorrow; we've trained hard and with the wolves as a surprise we should win."-Edward reasoned. Esme looked worried so he smiled at her and put his arm around her.
"I'm ready,"-Emmett said pounding his fist into his palm.
"Then we're done here."-Sam said
"And stay your ass out of trouble in the meantime Swan."-Paul growled before phasing and taking off with the pack.
L+C=L+C=L+C=L+C=L+C=L+C
By night fall the pack was saying, possibly their last, goodbyes to their unsuspecting loved ones, sans the council. Sam thought he'd die just thinking about dying and leaving Emily without him. He was tired having not gotten any sleep from thinking about it, but mostly and secretly about Leah being out there with all that was going on. He kissed Emily's scarred face and headed out with the pack, Jacob already in the mountains with Bella and her leech and Seth on his way.
As Alice had foretold, at midnight swift movements of vampires quickly and quietly raced through the forest straight towards them. The pack was well hidden when the Cullens took the army by surprise. Once the wolves got involved Jacob made a hasty trek toward the raging fight.
"Seth don't worry they won't find us up here, but if they do stay back I don't want you getting hurt."-Bella's leech said.
"I can handle myself I'm not a baby. I phased for a reason I'm in this."-Seth said and the two shared a smile and a nod. About twenty minutes later there was rustling in the trees up ahead.
"She found us, Victoria found us."-Bella shouted, alerting everything around they were there. Seth looked at her and shook his head before ducking in his hiding spot.
"Wait something is off, that doesn't smell lik-"
"Well…well…well…look what the cat coughed up. Two piles of shit."-the red eyed vampire said from atop a tree just over head. Seth's ears twitched as he tilted his head, but shook that crazy idea out of his mind and resumed waiting for his moment.
"You,"-Bella gasped.
"No stay back Bella!"
"No Carlisle let her stay. After all we're all here because of her anyway."-the beautiful red haired woman said.
"You stay away from her! Go Bella, run!"-Carlisle hissed as he pushed Bella behind him; she stood there.
"She isn't too bright is she?"-Riley smiled as he jumped down followed by the woman.
"It doesn't matter it's not as if she could actually out run us."-she taunted.
"Why are you doing this I've never done anything to you?"-Bella cried and the woman's eyes all but lit up and laughed callously before she squinted.
"Don't even try it."-Carlisle hissed.
"You never did anything to me is that what you just said Isabella Swan?"-the red head sneered and lunged but was intercepted by Carlisle.
Carlisle was more experienced but this woman put up a hard fight. They clawed and snapped at each other. Carlisle was able to get a grip on her and flung her far off into the trees, in hot pursuit moments later. The red haired woman hissed and jumped sideways as he reached for her. She latched onto his head, ripping it off. She kicked it like a field goal; when it landed next to Bella who screamed, she did a dance and what seemed like flew back over to her. Carlisle's body raced over to his head, jumping in the red head's path. He fought headless, somehow now having an advantage because of it.
"This is really annoying, go put your head back on. I want you to be in once piece when I kill her anyway."-the red hair sneered, crossing her arms impatiently. Carlisle was suspicious but reattached himself anyway.
"You will not touch her!"-he growled as he crouched poised to lunge.
"No I won't, not just yet, but he will."-she taunted and Carlisle's eyes widened when he flashed around, completely having forgotten the boy Riley.
"Let her go!"-he roared as Bella struggled.
"Carlisle!"-she cried as Riley drug a fingernail down her throat, blood oozing out; Carlisle's yellow eyes turned brown and he grit his teeth and closed off his nose as much as possible.
"She does smell appetizing."-Riley groaned as he closed his eyes and inhaled.
"She stinks if you ask me."-the red head said.
"Ummmm, delicious,"-Riley moaned as he licked the blood trail. Carlisle growled and jumped but the red head grabbed him, snapping off his arm.
"You're weak, whiney and weak just like Isabellahhhhh!"-the red head screamed when something sharp and painful dug into her flesh and pulled. She turned hissing wildly, only to come face to face with a growling, monstrous, horse sized wolf. The wolf stopped and gasped wide eyed, frozen in its spot.
"Leah,"-he whimpered; the entire pack froze and watched through Seth's eyes as Leah growled and crouched.
"Seth no!"-Edward yelled, reaching out as if he could grab Seth from where he was fighting in the field, Esme right behind him. It was too late, Leah grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and punched him, soaring him over the cliff, tumbling down the mountain. Sam couldn't breathe let alone move.
"Lee-Lee,"-he whispered, his imprint forgotten in this moment. Jacob, who'd been frozen too, was grabbed from behind and crushed. His howls could be heard atop the mountain he was so loud. Quil was able to snap back to reality first and kill the leech that had gotten Jacob and that woke up the pack and they finished up fighting to hurry and get to Seth and tend to a human, screaming Jacob being tended to by Edward.
"You cheated you have a partner! I was wondering what that smell was but I just figured it was your bitch."-Leah said incensed, eyes wild and glowing red.
"Leah,"-Bella gasped/moaned; Riley paused in his licking and sucking of her blood to see what had happened.
"Leah? Harry's daughter?"-Carlisle questioned. Leah hissed at him and they circled each other.
"What did I ever do to you?"-Bella cried and Leah's red eyes snapped to her and her face contorted.
"Where is Victoria?"-Carlisle shouted trying to get the attention off Bella as he fought to think of a way to get her out of there. It was weird that it wasn't Victoria here wanting to kill Bella but Leah daughter of Harry. He'd never even met her just seen pictures and heard the alpha constantly speak of her. Leah stopped circling.
"Oh her, well…"-she smiled and looked to Riley who growled at the mention of her name.
"What about her?"-he hissed, his grip tightening on a frightened Bella.
"Victoria was…well she chose wrong one when she chose to change me. She was a bitch and a manipulator much like Bella, so I…sent her to be with her boyfriend, mate guy or whoever, Jiffy."-she smirked casually.
"James,"-Riley corrected
"Does it look like a give a shit? I don't like being used for other people's agendas, but I understood and supported her cause. And I must say when she told me everything that your whore has done, all the trouble you two have caused I understood even more and wanted this to go my way because you and your Bella"-she mocked with a huge smile, blinking lashes and Riley snickered.
"I don't under…stand."-Bella gasped
"Well then let me enlighten you!"-Leah shouted and her and Carlisle circled each other again.
"Yes due Leah."-Riley instigated
"Because of her all this mess started and you stayed here. Had you and your little family just went on your way there would be no wolves, I wouldn't be here like this, our lives wouldn't have been ruined! All those lives were taken because of you two, my life was ruined because of you two, Isabella Swan and Carlisle Cullen! The wolves are weak for working with you, Jacob is pathetic and deserves the same fate you two will get for bringing her into our lives and forcing her on us all. You Isabella will die because you deserve it and you Carlisle will watch because that is worse than any death or punishment I can think of. An eternity without your singer. I guess in some ways I'm also doing it for Victoria. She was a bitch but she was a bitch that didn't deserve to have her other half snatched from her because of some whore. She didn't ask for this."-Leah said quietly as her eyes became far away.
Carlisle used her distraction and tackled her. Riley threw Bella and grabbed Carlisle who was faster and so his arm was ripped off and tossed to Bella. She quickly pulled out the lighter in her pocket and set it ablaze. Riley screamed in pain and swung with the other arm but the same treatment was given to this one as the other one.
"Leah,"-he cried as venom shot out of his sockets where his arms once were. She looked at him with a blank, bored expression.
"You see she's not even trying to save you."-Carlisle said as he stood between her and Riley but more so Leah couldn't get to Bella who was huddled by a bolder, blood on her neck. Carlisle had to fight the smell as it enveloped him.
"You tried to kill my brother."-Leah said as she tilted her head; Bella and Carlisle's heads popped up.
"But he got away. I didn't know I swear if I'd known it was your brother Victoria was trying to turn I wouldn't have, I swear!"-he shouted desperately.
"You're a terrible liar."-Leah said calmly before flashing over to Bella, grabbing the lighter before anyone could blink. She was fast!
"No one touches by brother."-Leah hissed before tossing the lighter, setting Riley ablaze. Carlisle jumped back and they watched as Riley screeched and disintegrated to ash.
"You talk about Seth yet you just threw him down the mountain."-Bella mumbled
"Bella!-Carlisle exclaimed
"I beg your pardon?"-Leah said in a deadly voice; Carlisle dashed in front of Bella.
"That wolf you punched was Seth!"-Bella said thinking she could manipulate Leah emotionally to the point they could escape. Leah's eyes turned a blackish red but she looked pained.
"Seth…I…I didn't…"-she stuttered as she looked over the cliff but saw nothing, there were too many trees and they were too high up.
"You almost and possibly did kill your own brother Leah. Can you live with that, is that punishment enough for you?"-Bella taunted, coming from behind panicked Carlisle.
"Bella-"she held up her hand at him.
"Look at what you've done. He was trying to protect and you were trying to kill."-she said accusingly and Leah went stiff, slowly turning around. Carlisle saw the fury on her face before Bella did.
"Seth…phased? My little brother is a wolf? He phased because the Cullens are still here! They have Seth out here fighting vampires? Seth was up here protecting you?"-her voice rose with each word before she was full blown roaring.
Bella jumped back and fell, her plan foiled. She scrambled back and in what seemed like slow motion: Carlisle jumped in front of Bella the same time Leah screeched, reaching for her jugular. She grabbed Carlisle instead, snapped his spine out. He was obviously still alive, in pain, but alive. Bella screamed at the top of her lungs and saw a rock, grabbed it and cut her forearm.
"Hey!"-she shouted as she waved her arm, but as Leah said before, Bella stunk to her, so she ignored her, ripping Carlisle into many pieces.
"You are not the third wife."-Leah hissed over her shoulder at Bella, still tearing Carlisle.
"Bella run…"-Carlisle whispered knowing it was his end and didn't want her to see and at least try to get away however futile the effort. If he could cry he would. Leah grabbed the lighter that laid in Riley's ashes and stood over Carlisle.
"Say hi to Victoria for me."-she said then dropped the lighter on him. He screeched and flailed. Leah watched with her eyes glowing red, red hair blowing in the wind making her look ever more out of this world and beautiful, while Bella screamed and ran over to the flames that were quickly dying out. Bella cried over his ashes; Leah knelt next to her.
"I'll give you two some alone time."-she whispered and slowly began walking away before abruptly going back over to her. Bella scrambled back, but Leah grabbed her leg snapping it, and drug her forward. Bella quivered in fear and pain as Leah slowly raised her hand, contorted like claws, and drug them down Bella's face, marring her with bloody tracks. Bella's scream intensified.
"Now you look like Emily just like you deserve."-Leah whispered then slowly walked away, disappearing in the trees and snow, leaving a disabled sobbing Bella at the highest mountain, in the dead of night, freezing temperatures, bleeding for all vampires and wild animals to smell.
AN: Hope you like! Thanks for all the reviews/adds/faves/aerts they were much loved. It took me forever to think of an E then when I did it somehow ended up a standalone Blackwater story Extraterrestrials: Worlds Collide, which nobody is reading or reviewing *looks pointedly*, but while writing the 2nd chap for that I came up with this idea so hallelujah *waves hands*! I was going to have Leah come down & kill the rest of the Cullens but I think this was a good place to leave it. This actually could've been and is similar in a way to E-evil in my other ABC collection for Leah/Jacob.
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, so I need you to read then I need you to review…or I'll throe you off a stage! Yeah I'm threatening ppl now b/c you boobs don't love me:( & b/c that's embarrassing. Mariah Carey feel out her heels & off the stage while shooting her video lol. She actually got pretty hurt but get this: she didn't want it to get out b/c she wants to be seen as young and hot smh. She thinks it makes her old lol. Oh Mariah so crazy. Ppl fall & break things it doesn't make you old you're old 43 yeesh!
