SUMMARY: After the war Harry needs to take a vacation to get away from the reporters, ministry efficials, and most of all: the mourning familys who had suffered loss. He escapes to an unknown land with help of a book from the library, and finds himself saved by a handsome man in a brown military uniform.

Harry soon finds himself falling for this man, but will he be able to go back to the wizarding world without him?

Prologue:

Harry was tired of everything. Even now after the war, Harry was getting more fame than ever before. He is still called "The Boy who Lived" but more labels have been added to his name including, "The Chosen one" and "The Savior of the Wizarding World." Even his two best friends Ron and Hermione got pulled into it. The three of them were now known as the "Golden Trio." Harry was sick of it. He never liked the fame, or the attention.

He just wanted to wait in the shadows until the aftermath died down, however, being a "Savior" he couldn't get away from it. Everywhere he walks Harry is tailed by reporters and fans; heck, it seems like the entire Ministry of Magic is at his door trying to push him into becoming a more political figure.

Even with his fame hanging over his head, it is the funerals that really cause him trouble. Funerals are the worst for him. To see all of the familys torn apart because the war hurt him deeply. He had lost so many friends and family in the war, including most of the Order of the Pheonix. one death that was close to him was Fred Weasley - Rons older brother, and Georges twin. George has never been the same since.

The Weasley family has been doing everything they can, but it doesn't seem to work. His Godson Ted Lupin (Or Teddy), had to now grow up just like him without parents. Harry made a promise to himself when he held Teddy in his arms for the first time; Teddy would grow up knowing about his parents, and knowing about how Remus and Tonks were heros - to the very end. Teddy would have a childhood - Harry would make sure of that.

Since Harry was unable to take care of him right away, Teddy is being taken care of by Andromeda Tonks. Andromeda was Teddys grandmother, and a beautiful Witch, both inside and out. Harry was happy to have Andromeda in his and Teddys life. To keep in contact, Hermione had helped him make a mirror like the one Sirius - his godfather - had given him.

Later on when Teddy is grown, Harry plans to pass on the mirror to him so if Teddy is in any kind of trouble, he can talk to Harry.

Even with the remaining friends and family Harry had to keep him grounded, the negative aspects of his life began affecting him both emotionaly and physically. He felt drained most of the time, but as much as his friends tried to help him, it wouldn't work. Molly Weasley, had even been teaching

him how to cook to get his mind off of things. Harry did not want to hurt Mollys feelings by explaining that he already knew how to cook from his life at the Dursleys, so he decided to stay silent and use it as a bonidng session with his adopted "mom." The cooking did help him for a little while, but eventually the routine did nothing to shake his depressive state.

This was the worst time for the Ministry efficials to visit.

They would make him do speeches in the middle of Diagon Ally, and he was disgusted to find his face on every cover of the Daily Profit. If Kingsley Shakelbolt wasn't the new Minister, his life would have been much worse. Kingsley is a godsend for Harry. He cannot drive all the reporters away, but he does what he can to help Harry out in any way he can.

With all of the stress enveloping him, Harry had decided to get away. He didn't know where exactly to go though - everybody had heard about the story about Voldemorts defeat, (without the Horcruxes of course) and learned most of the places Harry, Ron and Hermione had hidden. Harry was at a crossroads, and of course, went to his friends for talking to Ron and Hermione, he had expected their responses before they left their mouths.

Hermione had rambled about his responsibilitys, "How can you go on vacation now! There are Death Eaters still out there. You are the youngest Head Auror in history! You have to make a good impression!" , But after a long look at Harry, she had to agree that it would be best for him. Ron was more relaxed in his answer. He had just shrugged and said, "Well, its your choice mate, It might get the Profit blokes of your trail."

After they had discused everything, they began book hunting. Hermione doubted they would find books on such things at Flourish and Blott's, so they resorted to the Hogwarts Library. They stayed awake everynight looking for some type of book that could bring Harry to another world. They had later thought that this type of book would not be out in the open for everyone to read, it would be secluded to one part of the library, The restricted section. The book had been difficult to find, but suprisingly Ron was the one to find it.

The book was a dark leather-bound tomb that seemed to be older than most. The leather was caked with dust, and cracking in most places. Hermione had taken one look at the name and with a practiced hand - ripped it out of Rons hands to began reading. Harry and Ron used to her love of books simply shared a mirrored look of fond exasperation.

"This is a difficult spell Harry" Hermione said biting her lip, looking at the leather brown book. "Theres a potion involved too.. these ingredients might be difficult to find."

"But are we able to do it?" asked Harry, leaning forward looking at the spell in front of them.

Ron looked over their shoulder and cursed under his breath, getting a look from Hermione beside him "Ugh, potions." Ron groaned. "Well good luck Hermione. You know were barmy at it."

Hermione rolled her eyes and walked with the book out of reach, reading it over a few more times. Harry felt his stomache drop seeing most of the instructions. It would indeed be difficult, but he was determined to see it done. After a while, Hermione turned around with a sigh to take in Harry and Rons anxious faces.

"Well, its a bit more challenging than Polyjuice potion, but I think we can do it" She said with a grin. They gave each other matching grins, and with that, they began the preparations.

It had taken weeks just to learn how to say the right incantation, but double the time to make the potion. Harry, Ron and Hermione had been making the potion for three months. One of the problems main problems was to find a place brew the potion.

They had eventually gone with Hogwarts. They would be working in the Room of Requirement so then nobody but Headmistress Mcgonagall knew what they were doing. The Room of Requirement provided them with everything they needed so it was much easier than expected. The potion had to be a dull purple and have more than enough potion to put in a bathtub. Hermione had mostly been doing the potion with Harry and Rons help, but finally after a tiring and sleep deprived three months, the potion was finally ready.

Harry was very excited to get away from the Wizarding world, and had packed weeks before the potion was even done. Hermione had helped him make an Indetectable extention charm on the moleskin pouch that Hagrid had gotten him for his 17th birthday. He had included all of his essentials from his wand, to food rations. He wondered what type of clothes to bring, but he thought that after he got there, he could transfigure his clothing to fit the world.

He tucked the moleskin pouch under his shirt, and continued on his way to meet Ron and Hermione. When he got there Hermione was just putting the finishing touches on the potion.

"Its ready" Hermione said with excitment.

"Your a Genius Hermione! This potion looks exactly like the one in the book" Ron said smiling at her grabbing her hand. Hermione blushed at the praise and tried to flatten her raging hair against the heat of the potion. "Im not a genius, im just highly logical"

"It looks Brilliant" Said Harry grinning at her and Ron "Thank you both for helping me with this, it means a lot."

Ron looked at Harry and scoffed, "Well we couldn't let you do the ruddy thing yourself! You'd probably miss an instruction and get blasted."

Harry gave Ron a mock offended look, "You think so little of my abilities." Secretly, Harry had to agree, he really was pants at potions.

Hermione took a deep breath and interupeted glancing at Harry. "So, are you ready?" She asked nervously.

"I think so" Replied Harry, checking to see if he had everything he needed.

"Alright" said Ron taking out his wand "Its time to send you to a different world."

"Wait!" Said Hermione suddenly, running towards her purse "I thought that you could use this, its not the real one, but it will do. You don't know what this world is like, so you need somthing when you aren't using your wand."

In her hands was the sword of Godric Gryffindor - well, a fake.

Harry held the sword in his hands and looked up at Hermione and smiled "Where did you even get this?"

Hermione blushed under the torent of their amusement, "If you must know, I asked a few favours. You're not the only one with fame now Harry."

Harry shook his head, pulling her in a hug for a moment, "You are one amazing person Hermione Grander." He looked over at Ron and grinned "I don't want your Boyfriend getting jealous" He teased, letting her go.

Ron grinned at him, sending over a wink; Hermione blushed hitting him lightly on the arm.

"Okay" Harry said, breathing out slowly, "Should we get started?"

Hermione and Ron nodded and they took out there wands and faced the large cauldron in the middle of the room. This was a most difficult part of the spell - they had to say the spell clearly with the exact wand movements, or else it could end in disaster.

"And remember Ron, its LeviOsa, not LevioSA."

"Shut up Harry."

They all took a moment smiling at each other before taking a breath, and repeating the familar words waving there wands in the complicated movement cried,

"Transibit Mundi!"

Suddenly the Potion started bubbling and the dull purple started churning becoming more and more vibrent. The potion was loud, you could hear anything but the wind it was creating. The potion began changing colour, slowly changing into a light blue. Ron and Hermione continued the wand movements, trying to keep their focus.

"Okay Harry!" Yelled Hermione over the wind. "Go!"

"Bye Mate! We'll find you in a Week!" Yelled Ron

That was the last thing Harry heard before jumping into the swirling potion.
