A/N: For Kanda's birthday It's a good thing that Tumblr awakened my yullen fandom XD. Anyways, enjoy.

Allen Walker shakes his piggy bank. He can hear some shillings but he knows that this is not enough to buy a gift for Kanda's birthday. Allen puts his piggy bank on its original place and looks around his room. He can't see anything that is costly enough to sell. He wants to give up in giving him a gift but as he sits on his bed, he touches something silky and sees that it is a silky red ribbon that Kanda gave to him on his birthday. He shakes his head and instantaneously runs outside his room. How bad of him if he will give up already. Kanda is his friend so he deserves a gift. Whatever it is.

It is already Kanda's birthday and many of his classmates including Lavi and Lenalee are already giving him gifts and most of them are quite expensive. Allen fondles his small gift wrapped in a blue silky paper. It looks like he should give up now. After all, his gift is nothing compare to the things they had given him. He looks at his gift sadly and glances at Kanda. He sees that the Japanese is somewhat irritated while searching for something or… someone in the classroom . His heart stings. He didn't know why but seeing him waiting for someone (which is not him, Allen included) is making his heart clench.

It is already dismissal time when he saw that Kanda is looking at him so intensely. He went where he is and waves his hand.

"Happy Birthday Kanda." Allen sees that he did not respond so he continued. "Sorry Kanda, I don't have any gift for you but I'll promise next tim- "

"Don't lie Moyashi" Allen is dumbfounded. How come he knows that he is lying?

"You are always asking me what do I want for my birthday since the start of this fucking month." Oh. That's why. Is he that excited for Kanda's birthday? Oh, well.

"But my gift is nothing but rubbish compared to your gifts." He looks sadly at his shoes while he is nervously playing the hem of his dress shirt.

"I don't care you idiot. I don't want anyone to waste something just for me so-" Allen looks at Kanda's face and sees that he is blushing so lightly. "-Let me have it."

Allen smiles and looks at his bag to get his gift. He put it on Kanda's hand and grins so widely. "Open it Bakanda."

He looks at Allen and opens his gift curiously seeing a red hair ribbon that fits so perfectly on his black hair.

"…For what?" He holds some of his hair seeing that it is too short to be tied by the hair ribbon that Allen gave him.

"You told me before that cutting your hair is a waste of time so I decided to give you that!" He grins.

"Hm." Kanda looks at Allen and a smirk was formed in his lips. "Well, I think that this tie will not only be used for my hair but also for something more….interesting in the future."

"That's right!" He can't help but release a chuckle on Allen's innocence.

"Yeah."

Allen caresses the red hair ribbon that is tying Kanda's long hair.

"Kanda…Can I ask you something?"

"Tch. What is it Moyashi?"

"The gift you gave me before when we were still kids, the red silky ribbon…..Why did you gave it to me?"

"What's with that ques-"

"Just answer me."

"…You love wearing ribbon so I decided to give you one"

"…That's it?"

"…That's it."

"What's with that pause?"

"…Nothing."

"….Then what is the object you used when you tied my hands last time we had sex?"

"….Shit."
