Hello new and old readers alike. My name is Kaida and it's a great pleasure to have you here for another rousing chapter of Total Drama Resort!

Author notes will be at the bottom!

The story so far…

Hosts May and Rinn, and their poor unpaid intern Rachel, met the 22 unlucky contestants. And like every good show, we've slowly been losing contestants one-by-one in a variety of terrible competitions.

Friends have been made, allies have been created, and trust has been broken. The drama this season has been amazing, and we're honestly so thankful for Blake and Victoria because they get everything rolling. But… why does it seem like things have gone smoothly for everyone? Where is all the hate?!

Last time on Total Drama Resort, it was the Conquer or be Conquered challenge: our competitors needed to try to conquer their phobias. There were a lot of people that failed the challenge and were up for elimination. Some of our favorite failures included Blake and the BunBun army and Whitney passing out because of a room filled with boys. These were both satisfyingly hilarious!

However, despite votes being cast, our ceremony was useless. We had a double-elimination where TWO CONTESTANTS voted for themselves, meaning that they eliminated themselves. There was Gavin, who had suffered because May had taken his medication for the challenge and then there was Whitney, who believed that she wasn't ready for the competition.

But the ending was so cute. Kole desperately wanted to say goodbye to Whitney, even though she was mad at him, and he ran all the way to the dock. In a twist of fate, she admitted that she wasn't mad and he actually gave her his signature scarf. Talk about cute, right?

So Whitney and Gavin left the island in Total Drama Resort's first double elimination.

Oh no! We just realized. Whitney forgot to take BunBun with her! That poor bunny only has Blake now.

What does this mean for TDR?

Kole is alone now and his fear is alive.

Victoria has managed to get three teammates eliminated because of her deceptive nature.

Everyone has been gone from their home for so long!

Jericho still needs a movie date with Rinn.

And I'm sad because there will be no more miracles from Gavin's Easy Bake.

It's time for the long-awaited new episode of Total Drama Resort, now on a computer screen near you!

Kole sits on his bed in the Singing Vixen male cabin, his back resting against the wall. He sighs loudly as he stares down at the macaroni piece that he had found in the forest during the last challenge. He coughs.

True pops her head up from the side of his bed, and the boy gasps as his arms flail. "Jesus, True! You can't just pop up like that. Your clothes already give me heart palpitations. I don't need you to add to that!" Kole exclaims

"Sorry, but you sighed again. I was curious and was wondering if I could sigh with you," the girl says.

He grimaces as his brow furrows together. "Uh, no?" Kole says, his voice raising with uncertainty.

"You've been sighing about Whitney for a week. Maybe you should sigh to a different tune," Destery says.

"Kole can do whatever he wants," Banafrit argues. She's sitting on an empty bed on the other side of the room. "I'd miss Sam if she left the island. That's what friends do."

"But c'mon," Destery cries. "His princess is in another castle!"

"At least she's not all smashed up," True giggles. Destery and Banafrit turn their heads disbelievingly towards the girl. The bigger girl presses her lips together as her eyes direct the attention towards Kole. "What?" True asks, raising her voice. "It's true! Whitney got to leave on her free will and she's still moving. But the macaroni can't move."

"Well," she continues, lowering her voice. "Not that it couldn't move in the first place. But Whitney's doing better not here and she's not smashed or anything. So-"

"She's at a place called Loser Island," Kole retorts. "While it's fitting-"

"Kole!" Banafrit exclaims.

"I still wish that stupid girl was here with us. That's all," he finishes. The boy puts the noodle on the table next to his bed as he instinctively goes to tighten his scarf, only to remember it's not there anymore. He groans. "I also wish I didn't give her my stupid scarf."

Banafrit frows, tilting her head to the side. She plays with the hem of her dress. "Kole…"

"That's all!" he interjects. "The days here just need to go faster. I'm tired of cold showers, stupid bugs, and Whitney not being here."

"Welp, you're stuck here with us," True sings. She hums as she rocks back and forth and swats at Destery's foot who cries out and shifts his foot away. "Who knows. Maybe Whitney's happy to be gone. She may or may not be at Loser Island. Maybe she's back at home with her family and her friends and she's enjoying life because she's not separated from them."

"True," Destery loudly whispers. "Now that's not cool."

"What!" True cries. "I wish I could be home with my family too." Her eyes widen and she pats her friend's shoulder. "Don't worry, Des Des, I like being here with you."

"Maybe you're right, True," Kole says dejectedly. "Maybe she's already forgotten about us."

"Oh no, I'm not saying that," True says with a loud laugh. "I'm just-"

Banafrit frowns and groans loudly. "Can't you be a little more serious, True?" she asks, interrupting the girl. She stands up and places her hands on her hips. "I understand that you like laughing and jokes, but Kole is seriously distraught over Whitney being gone."

"I'm right here and not distraught," Kole comments. "Entirely distraught"

"Not cool, Banafrit," Destery defends. "You can't-"

"Okay, just ignore me then. I'm not here in my own cabin."

True holds up a hand, covering the boy's mouth. Her giggling dies down. "No, you're right, Fruity. I don't understand what's going on." The contortionist holds a hand to her chest before standing up. "I think I'm gonna go to bed. It's getting kinda late, and we never know if there'll be a challenge soon." She bows, facing both the three. "Night, you guys."

Banafrit watches the girl leave the boy's cabin as she lowers her eyes to the ground before walking to her own cabin.

Destery shakes his head back and forth as he still stands inside the Singing Vixen male cabin, watching the two girls slink away. "Did I miss something?" he asks.

Kole shrugs, pulling off his hat and fake 3D glasses. "Probably some sort of girl problem."

There is silence in the room. "So do you miss your girlfriend?" Destery asks.

"Of course I- SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND."

Island Cabana Cam – "I didn't mean to be brash," Banafrit admits. "We just can't laugh at every little thing. Jokes can hurt people."

Island Cabana Cam – "I hope everything's okay with True," Destery says. "Something's bothering her and it's not the toast."

Island Cabana Cam – True stares at a photo in her hands before she leans down and kisses it. She looks into the camera and forces a small smile. "Banafrit is right. I should take things a little more seriously. I've forgotten that a bit since being here."

Island Cabana Cam – "I should apologize," Banafrit says.

Some time had past since the previous challenge. Jericho paces in front of the rooms where the hosts are staying, his hand rubbing against one of the voodoo dolls in his pocket. "Okay, Rinn, what's up?" he asks. He stares down at his feet as he walks and talks to himself. "I get it. You're busy being a host. And we had fun playing that hilarious prank on your sister. But what gives? You're just… ignoring me?"

The boy shakes his head as he grimaces. "No, that's stupid."

Jericho takes a deep breath. "Hey, Rinn. So, listen, I'm still waiting for us to watch that movie together. We pranked May and that was fun, but we never actually watched that movie- you know, the one you promised. And I-"

He groans and stops walking, throwing his head back. He runs a hand over his face before throwing his attention back to the door. A fist curls up against his side as he approaches the door and raps his fist against it. There isn't an answer

"Rinn, are you in there. It's Jericho. I just- I'm just wondering how you've been. I haven't seen you and we've still gotta watch that movie." He pauses and puts his ear up to the door before stepping back. "Please, at least talk to me?"

Shoulders slump forward as he turns away from the door, kicking at thin air before walking away.

"Ha' ya guys evah though' about wha will ha'pen after the show?" August asks. He and his group sit in the television room with some reruns of the original Total Drama Island playing in the background.

Skylar, who sits on the couch adjacent to the one he's on, brings a hand to her chin. "I never really thought about it."

"I hope we're still friends after this!" Victoria proclaims, throwing an arm around Skylar and leaning into her. Skylar giggles along and returns the gesture.

Resort Supply Closet Cam – "Ew," Victoria says, grimacing into the camera.

"Wouldn't we just return to our ordinarily mundane lives?" Fabian asks. He sits on the floor in between the two couches. He closes his notebook with the conversation. "I can't speak for you guys, but there isn't much to look forward to at home."

Sam hums affirmatively. "I get that. Like, I have friends and family at home that I feel like I haven't seen in years. But," she pauses as she glances sideways to August, whom she is sharing a couch with. "But, I can say that you all have had some impact during my time here."

"But we don't even talk much," Skylar says.

"Yes, but. Even now, though we're on opposing teams, we're still here relaxing and talking with one another. I don't have much experience with this back home," Sam admits.

"We did do that challenge together," Victoria says. She removes her arm from around Skylar and leans over to grab Sam's hand. She squeezes it. "That definitely would have brought us closer together."

Resort Supply Closet Cam – The girl shudders and bears her teeth as she glances around. "More ew," Victoria says.

Sam nods at the warmth, smiling faintly, and squeezes the hand back. "Yeah. And these are the memories I want to remember."

"Research does show that we are more likely to build relationships with a dastardly and stressful situation, such as our time here at the resort," Fabian explains.

August nods, rubbing a hand over his poofy hair. "I 'spose ya'r right. I find mehself thunkin' more of ya than people at home."

"The rules don't say we have to stop talking after the competition!" Skylar exclaims.

Fabian nods, a very slight smile shifting his mask upward. "None of this has to stop."

"Except these s-silly competitions," Victoria adds.

"Maybe when this is all over, you guys can come over to my family's farm," Skylar offers. "We have plenty of room and I would love to cook for all of you. Daddy would love to meet everyone here." Her voice lights up with excitement as she brings her hands in front of them, hiding her happiness. "We could all right the horses!"

Everyone in the room nods, even Fabian. "That sounds good," he mutters.

Sam, however, snorts loudly, quickly covering her mouth as others turn their attention towards hers. Her bespectacled eyes widen as her cheeks redden at the unnecessary attention. "I think I'll have to reject the offer. Horses kinda scare me."

"Aww," Victoria whines. "You don't want to hang out with us, do you?"

"No, I do!" Sam argues.

Fabian glances up from his notebook. "Horses can be quite dangerous. Have you ever had one step on you before?"

Skylar gasps. "My horses would never do that!"

The masked man shrugs. "As humans, we cannot always control the ways that an animal behaves."

"Ah don' thunk that's what scares 'er," August analyzes. "Why can't ya do it, Sam?"

"It's kind of embarrassing," she admits. Both Skylar and Victoria scoot closer, their eyes widening with curiosity. August raises an eyebrow as he crosses his arms over his chest. The girl sighs and rolls her eyes. "Well, okay. My mom wanted me to be some kind of Olympic-winning horse racer."

"But you can't even get a medal for that."

"Yeah, she knows that now, Skylar. But she was adamant on me practicing my horse-riding skills and I- I-" The bookworm pauses as she searches for her words. Her eyes wince close as she quickly speaks. "I fell off a horse and landed in its shit."

The room is silent for only a moment as Skylar, Victoria, and August erupt into a fit of laughter. Fabian bites his lip as he chuckles to himself, forcing himself to glance away from the spectacle. Sam's face reddens as she glances down. "This is why I didn't want to tell you! You're laughing at this."

"We're not laughing at you," Skylar says.

"We're laughin' with ya," August finishes. "Ever'one h's secrets and embar'sin' stories. Ya jus' brave enough to say it."

"Well it's not like it's my biggest secret or anything," Sam says.

The room quiets once more as the two girls on the floor attempt to scoot closer, if that was even possible. August covers his mouth.

"I'm not telling you my big secret!"

Resort Supply Closet Cam – "I can't believe that she even admitted anything to us," Victoria groans. "It's good leverage knowing that she literally flew into shit."

Resort Supply Closet Cam – "My horses would never make someone fly into shit!" Skylar defends. She ponders for a moment as she strokes her chin. "But there was one time when a horse kicked a little boy because he came up behind them."

Resort Supply Closet Cam – "Ah th'nk she shooda tol' us more secrets," August says. His head turns as he looks at something in the cabana and his nose seems to almost grow

Resort Supply Closet Cam – "What's worst?" Fabian asks. "Flying into shit or being trampled? Only those who have experienced both would know."

Resort Supply Closet Cam – "I can't believe I told everyone that," Sam sighs, placing her chin onto her wrist. "Could you imagine if this was all-"

The girl pauses as she glances into the camera and pulls herself closer. "I forgot that everything is televised. No!" she cries, sobbing into the camera.

Oliver gasps as he sidesteps, his eyes focusing on something in front of him. They widen again as he swings his arm. "Oh no, there are too many of them!"

Blake, who sits nearby under a tree, watches incredulously as Oliver flails his arms by himself. With nothing surrounding him. The daredevil cries out once more as he ducks and kicks his leg out.

"Dude, what the hell are you doing?" Blake asks.

"I'm… fighting… ninjas." Oliver emphasizes each word as he continues to move with the motion. Blake laughs aloud, and Oliver looks towards him and frowns before he eventually falls. "Oh no!" He begins to gag and throws his chest more and then lies still.

"Are you done there?" Blake retorts.

"Nope!" Oliver says, opening a single eye. He hops up and wipes off his pants. "I'm just getting started. It's good to keep yourself agile, both in body and mind. That way you're ready against anything: ninjas, assassins, zombies, dragons protecting May-"

"Wait," Blake interrupts, holding up a hand. "Did you say zombies?" Oliver nods, and Blake pushes himself off the ground. "Okay, I'll try your stupid little game. So I stand here and pretend that I'm shooting them?"

"Nuh uh, dude," Oliver protests. Blake walks beside him and crosses his arms over his chest, raising an eyebrow. "You gotta pretend that they're coming at you. Your last line of defense is gone and we're stuck with this giant horde! We've gotta protect ourselves or else we're zombie bait!" Blake scoffs and rolls his eyes. "Unless you're chicken and you don't think you can do it."

Lips pressing together, Blake shoves Oliver aside. "Just don't get in my way," he says, his lips curling. "I don't really want to chop your body up today."

Oliver makes quick work bolting forward and slashing upward at an invisible force. Blake sags his shoulders as he watches, unknowing how he should react. Oliver cries out to him and Blake slowly lifts his hand upward, and the boy rejoices when the foe apparently falls.

Blake swings his arm out again, grinning as he thinks he ahs conquered another foe. But Oliver cries for him to watch out. The mean boy takes a step backward and falls, hitting his head on the ground. He looks up and with his hallucinations he can see a zombie peering down at him. He blinks, trying to gather his bearing as Oliver shows up and stabs the zombie in the head.

The boy on the ground blinks as Oliver reaches down and pulls him on his feet. "You gotta be careful, dude! These zombies are brutal!" Oliver cries before twirling around and slashing another undead.

A grin encompasses Blake's face and he stares down at the knife in his hand and he stabs upwards at a zombie approaching his teammate. The two work together in tandem as they defeat the horde of zombies. Within minutes, they breathe heavily as they make notes on their handiwork. Oliver's lips curl upwards as he grins, and he leans over and high-fives his teammate who actually returns the gesture.

"That was… actually kinda fun," Blake admits.

"What did I tell you?" Oliver asks. He smiles brightly. "You know, maybe we even became closer as teammates."

Blake's eyes shine as he glances at Oliver and then they darken as he scowls once more. "If you tell anyone that we did that, you're in for a world of pain."

Oliver instinctively flinches, his hands flying up to protect his shirt's collar. "Okay, yeah, man, you got it."

"I'm going to bed," Blake says before storming off. Oliver watches him with a knowing smile.

Island Cabana Cam – "Blake had fun and I'm the only one who noticed it," Oliver says, bobbing his head with satisfaction.

Island Cabana Cam – "Note, the show's intern worked very hard to edit all the details in to make this a much more enjoyable experience for all viewers," Rachel informs. "Please show her your utmost respect."

Island Cabana Cam – "So it's been like a week since we've gotten a challenge," Jericho explains. "Not that I'm complaining, but I haven't seen Host Girl Rinn since then and she still owes me a movie. Not that I'm going to hold it over her or anything. I just…" He looks downward as he frowns. "Don't get my hopes up if you don't wanna do it."

Island Cabana Cam – "I would like to do something so I'm not just wallowing in my self pity," Kole banters, shaking his head toward the camera. "It's disgusting to be like this. But in better news, I've gotten some great sleep. So thank you, May, for doing your worst and letting me sleep."

Island Cabana Cam – "Oh yes, Kole, I've been doing this for you," May says. "We've been, or I should say me, researching."

Trumpets blare to life, echoing throughout the island. It isn't nighttime anymore, but the sun has just begun to rise. Many scream because of the sudden noise that rouses them from their slumber.

"Good morning, munchkins! Or, at least a good portion of you because you're not all tiny like the other person. Looking at you Kole and True. Challenge starts in thirty minutes in front of resort. Be there or be a loser! And I'm still looking at you, Kole."

Island Cabana Cam – "There are people shorter than me, May!" Kole yells.

Island Cabana Cam – "She does realize that I'm literally the shortest person here, right?" Destery asks. He stands up and gestures to himself in the camera. "I'm just over four feet. True is literally an ENTIRE FOOT taller than me!"

He sighs as he plops back down onto the cabana's seat. "Maybe I'm just too short and she doesn't even notice me."

"Are you all here?" May asks. She looks around, through each person in the crowd, and frowns. "Where's Destery? Des Des!" she calls out. Destery stands besides True and rolls his eyes, raising his hand. May exclaims aloud, holding up a finger. "I almost didn't notice you there. Be careful there, Destery. You're so short." The boy grumbles from his spot, but the host ignores it.

"Anywho, I'm so happy to see everyone!" May exclaims. "It's been so long since I've seen anyone. But it feels like years…" Her head tilts to the side as she furrows her eyebrows. "I can't tell why, though."

"It's because it has!" True informs. "Yeah, we're stuck in some sort of space continuum thing and it's been like three or four years since there's been an episode of this show. It's kinda sad, if you think about it. But wowee! Imagine the nostalgia that anyone is feeling right now."

Island Cabana Cam – "Wha' exactle was that?" August asks.

Island Cabana Cam – "I honestly thought I understood True as a person," Destery says. He scratches the side of his head. "But then she goes and does things like that. Space continuum? Years? C'mon, True, it hasn't even been a full summer!"

Island Cabana Cam – "Does she know something that none of us know?" May asks.

Island Cabana Cam – "Hi, readers at home! You guys thought that we all didn't know?" She laughs covering her mouth. She peers closer to the camera and flashes a grin. "I know a lot more than you all think!"

"So, uh," May says after a moment of silence, "I'm excited to have you here for a brand-new challenge. It's called Capture the Truth! Each time will be given a belt with a white tag attached to it. If you look, our intern Rachel is handing them out now."

Rachel helps attack the belt around Kole's waist, smiling as an audible click is heard. She gives a thumbs up to May.

"These are hella tacky," Kole comments.

"They're an upgrade for you, sweetie," May retorts. "These belts are your lifelines. At any point, if you lose the tag off your belt, then you're out for the challenge and you have to return to this very spot where there will be a Loser Cell. It's like jailtime for losers." She pauses as she glances down, her eyes shifting. "We'll uh… get that out here after you leave."

"Throughout the island, there are slips of paper hidden in the dirt with little truths written on them. They're harmless, ready, and they're little fun facts that every person should know. You know, things like: the Earth is round, I'm the best host. Whitney's fear for boys stems from her father," she adds, muttering under her breath.

"What was that?" Oliver asks.

"Earth is round?" May asks. Oliver shakes his head. "I'm the best host." He goes to shake his head but nods instead. "Whitney has a fear for boys?"

"Oh!" he exclaims. "That's what I almost missed."

"I gotchu, boo!" she says, throwing finger guns at him. "So as the challenge progresses, we'll reveal more about the game as you guys continue to play. But your main objective is to not lose the tag off your belt and to find these truths!" She glances at her watch. "And your tiiiiiiime staaaaaarts…. Now!"

"Don't we, uh, don't we get to eat first?" Destery asks.

"I said it starts now!" May yells as everyone scampers off. She sighs once they're all gone and plops onto the ground. "I swear, the nerves of these people."

"Oh yeah," Rachel retorts. "The nerve of them."

"Okay, Rachel, now that you've given out the belts, please get the cage. It should be able to fit into the elevator!"

Rachel sighs before trudging into the report. "Okay, okay."

Blake's grand plan had been for the team to split up, despite not one person knowing exactly what they were looking for nor where. Their only clues involved knowing that these slips were outside in the dirt—but that could include the beach, forest, or any other place across the island.

The group doesn't do too well of a job with breaking up. When they separated, Oliver was quick to follow Blake while the other four remained grouped together.

"Wow, look at us. Just two new best buds traversing the wilderness to do this awesome challenge," Oliver says. He follows close behind.

Blake stops walking, and Oliver bumps into him. The bully turns around and raises an eyebrow. "Woah woah. What do you mean best buds?"

"Well, we bonded," Oliver says. "We're pretty much O-fficial bffs, or something like that."

"We're not bffs," Blake snorts. "We're not even F's."

Hand falling by his side, Oliver glances at the ground. "But I thought- we fought zombies, and-"

"Just," Blake starts, shaking his head, "just don't get too close. I'm not here for friends. Remember that. We're not friends."

Oliver nods excitedly. "Yeah, yeah. I get it. Let's just go and do this challenge!"

Island Cabana Cam – "He's just playing hard to get," Oliver argues. "I've seen his real side, and I know that he really wants a friend. And I'll be that gateway person so he can be cool with everyone."

"Er, well mostly cool. He's still been a dick most times."

August, Banafrit, Kole, and Sam wander towards the forest in their own little group.

"Wha' do ya thunk this challenge is 'bout?" August asks.

Sam hums as she glances towards him. "What do you mean?"

"It seem too easeh," he says.

"Don't be ridiculous, August," Kole retorts. "We have to find itty bitty tiny slips of paper throughout an entire island." He grumbles incoherently to himself. "This is definitely not an easy challenge."

"But thare seem to be no difficulteh with it," August says.

Banafrit hums as she presses her lips together. "Maybe May is just out of ideas?"

Kole chews on his nail as he continues forward. "No, no. She doesn't just give up that easily. She's an evil mastermind that one can only aspire to be."

Banafrit shakes her head. "I think you're overthinking it," she says. "I'm gonna go on ahead. That way we're looking in different areas at once."

Sam nods. "Good thinking, Banafrit!" Banafrit jogs forward, creating distance between the group. She glances sideways at Kole. "So what do you really think about it?"

Kole shrugs. "I can't be too sure. I just don't trust it or her."

"Ah'd like ta think this is just an easeh day for us," August says. His nose crinkles as he looks ahead. "Banafri' is goin' a lil too far ahead. Shoul' we stop 'er?"

"Yeah, we should pr-" Sam freezes when she sees a shadow in front of her. "Run! This way!" Sam veers the direction that the trio is moving, quickly running to the left and leaving the path. The shadowy figure chases after them for a moment before tripping over an uprooted tree.

The figure groans loudly at the pain. "I can't believe they got away!" Jericho says. "We had a great plan!"

"Aww, we almost got them!" Skylar pouts, running up to him. Victoria follows after and runs a hand through her hair.

"At least they're separated now," Jericho says, pushing himself off the ground. "I'm surprised that Banafrit didn't notice me earlier when she went by."

"Wait, Banafrit kept going straight? I'll follow her!" Victoria cheers. "I should easily be able to get her, especially since she's alone. She won't even hear me!"

"Well, if you're sure…" Skylar begins to trail off. "Is it such a good idea to separate?"

"It would help with the challenge," Jericho says. "Getting Banafrit out."

Victoria nods. "You two can trust me! I'll be back faster than you can say Banafrit's name!"

"But Banafrit-"

"Skylar!" Victoria whines. "I'm being metaphorical. I'll be back soon." With that she runs off, following the path that the bigger girl had taken.

"Will this be okay?" Skylar asks.

"She seems adamant. We may as well let her," Jericho says.

Island Cabana Cam – "Thank goodness I can finally get away from that imbecile. I need some me time. Without Skylar," Victoria scoffs.

"Do you think we're going the right way?" Destery asks aloud. "I feel like we're just walking in circles."

"Well, we kinda are walking in circles," Fabian mumbles. He stands off to the side as he watches True literally circling a tree. "Literally, we're walking in circles."

"But it's fun!" True says. "And I've got this rumbly deepy down feeling that we're super close to one of those truths!"

Destery slowly groans, shaking his head. "I'm all for fun right now, True. But do you think we should maybe try to do the thing? I think it would be great if we didn't lose someone else this challenge, like we did with Gavin."

True stops in her steps, dramatically placing a foot down onto the ground. She turns on her heels, her entire body facing the two boys who stand off to the side. "Oh yes, I suppose you are right, Des Des." She bounds over to the two before leaning over Destery. "Besides, this is our first time with Fabian! I feel like we never talk with him during challenges."

Fabian hesitates but then slowly nods. "You are correct. We normally do not talk much during the competitions but I-"

"So we've gotta go and do the thing!" True says. She looks around, before pulling Destery along with her. "I think we should go this way."

"Please don't pull me anymore, True."

Fabian sighs and follows the contortionist. The smaller groups for the team will still work out, even if there isn't too strong of a voice in this group.

Island Cabana Cam – "I honestly don't even know what we're doing," Destery reveals. "Who's in charge? What should we do? Why did Fabian willingly come with us."

"Not that I'm complaining! The dude's cool and all."

It takes a while before Banafrit notices her lonely state. Where did her team go? She continues wandering around the edge of the forest, hoping that she can find one of her teammates.

"At least I don't have to worry about getting hit with paint or anything else during this challenge," Banafrit murmurs. "I would really hate for-" The snapping of a nearby branch startles her, words resting on the tip of her tongue. Her head whips around as she looks for the source.

"Sam? Is that you?" She hesitantly takes a step towards the noise. "August? Kole? Any of you?"

A person barrels into view, quickly running towards her. A shrill scream comes from her, and Banafrit collapses to the ground. She momentarily trembles as the person tumbles over her, crashing to their untimely doom. The Egyptian pokes her head up from underneath his arms, her protection against any wrongdoings, and nervously glances towards the person; they don't stir.

Banafrit goes to push herself off the ground but pauses when a once-white and slightly buried piece of paper catches her attention. She carefully takes the paper out of the dirt and stands up. This will be a point for her!

Finally standing, she turns to run away from the person on the ground, but she looks back over her shoulder at the individual. "That's right, Fruity! Gotta be on the offensive!"

The girl jogs over to the person, taking note of their blonde hair and the red streaks dyed into them. She triumphantly rips the tag off of her belt and stuffs in into her own belt. She runs away, tripping over her feet but continues running, before the girl can wake up.

"And the Dancing Serpents lose Victoria!" May announces over the intercom system. "She's gonna have a not good time when she wakes up!"

Banafrit exasperatedly sighs and leans against a tree once she knows she's in the clear. Her eyes light up before she glanes at the paper, which is still in her hand. Curiosity piques her interest, so she unfolds it, her eyes widening as she reads it. She covers her mouth. "This isn't just a statement! This is somebody's-"

"And Banafrit finds the first hidden slip of paper and finds the painstakingly terrible truth behind this wicked and fun game. Capture the Truth isn't just about finding this, but about discovering secrets!" May explains. "Everybody has a secret! And you know what? Secrets should be announced to the world! The first part of the challenge is finding the secrets. The second part is finding the hidden microphones scattered across the island and reading these secrets out loud for the entire world to hear."

"Points will be given accordingly. One point for reading the secret of someone on the opposing team. Half a point for reading the secret of someone on your team. If you find a secret that belongs to your team, feel free to not read it. Keep your enemies close, guys!" May cackles into the microphone.

Banafrit stares up at the sky, trying to find the speakers. "I- I-"

"Luckily for Miss Banafrit, there's a microphone behind the tree that's she's using to hold up her out-of-shape body!"

Banafrit's mouth goes dry as she licks her lips. She peers around the tree and finds a microphone obnoxiously taped to the bark. She glances back down at the note, and her hands begin trembling under the pressure. Her breathing quickens as she panics. "Wh-what do I do?" she asks aloud.

"Our secrets?" Destery asks aloud. "That's kind of messed up. How do we even know if these are true or not?"

"Nothing happened for a week," Fabian explains after a minute. "Perhaps they were gathering intel to discover our secrets?" he suggests.

"Or maybe we accidentally revealed them here at some point." Destery pauses. "I know that I have in the confessionals."

Visibly flinching, Fabian nods. "If the cameras roll 24/7, then May discovered mine as well."

Humming aloud, True sways side-to-side. "We can choose to not participate."

Destery gasps and chokes on the sudden intake of air. "True, what do you mean?"

"This is only a challenge because May thinks that it'll bring in rating. Is it not?" The girl's head cocks to the side. "I'm pretty sure that is how the silly host plots her ploys and plays her games."

"Ah!" Fabian exclaims. He brings a fist down onto an open palm as his murky blue eyes shine from behind his mask. "That's a good point. If we do not act on the pain and suffering, then there cannot be anything to broadcast to the world. That is brilliant, True!"

The smaller boy turns his attention between his two teammates. "So, are we giving up, or-"

"We never give up, Des Des!" True exclaims. "We're just not playing the entire challenge."

"So what are we-"

"We should converge with our team and explain the task at hand. Perhaps we can still get the other team out before they can answer anything," Fabian plans.

True smiles widely, turning on her heel back to their original path. "Exactamundo, my dear masked one. Let us carry on and stop this horrid task!"

Island Cabana Cam – "What are we?" Fabian asks. "Some sort of vigilante?"

Kole laughs aloud at May's announcement, barreling over in his humorous fit. "What kind of sick challenge is this?" he asks. "This is just brutal and I wish I could have thought of doing something like this."

"Ah guess it's 'musin'. I guess I'm curious 'bout ever'one's secrets," August says.

"No!" Sam yells. She harshly smacks both of her teammates on the arm. "Don't you dare think that you're partaking in this gross challenge."

"But ah am onleh cur'ous," August explains.

May frowns and smacks his again. "I don't care! How would you feel if somebody shared your secret aloud to the world?"

"Uh, ah guess it would be-"

Sam shrieks and slaps him again in the same spot. August holds a hand to his arm and softly rubs it. "No, there is no guessing. There's only no. You don't want it to happen. So we're not going to let it happen to everyone else." Her head whips around toward Kole who kicks at the ground.

The boy's eyes widen behind his fake 3D glasses, holding his hand defensively in front of his chest. "Okay, okay. Yeah, yeah. I get it! Just please don't hit me!"

"So, wha' do ya figure we do then?" August asks.

Sam holds up a finger and lamely drops it to her side, glancing sideways as she hums in thought.

"Well, you better think of a plan soon. Because Banafrit already-"

"No! What are you doing!" May's voice exclaims over the speakers. "Stop that, Banafrit, this is not the challenge!"

Island Cabana Cam – "Now I don't know what she was doing," Kole says. "But May's panic made me only half-not-care."

"We need to hurry up and find Victoria!" Skylar exclaims. "She's probably lost and cold and sad-"

"She's only been alone for like ten minutes," Jericho exclaims, "and she's already out. We need to find Banafrit before she reads the secret!"

"I know, but-"

"Skylar, Victoria will be okay," Jericho says. He places his hands onto Skylar's shoulders and squeezes, lightly shaking the girl. "But we've gotta protect our team, and-"

The two freeze when they hear May freaking out over the announcement system, and they stare at each other.

"Banafrit, don't rip that-" May exclaims before shrieking again.

"C'mon," Jericho cries, "let's go."

The two run as May continues freaking out over the speakers, freaking out in a variety of ways. If the competitors didn't know the girl's personality, then they would have guessed that she was being viciously killed by some masked stranger.

In the distance, they hear a loud grunting. "This is what needs to be done!"

The pair turn their attention to the voice and continue running in the direction. They spot the figure, who shrieks about seeing them, and the two struggle to not run into them. Banafrit holds her hands up in shock, a shower of ripped paper falling from her hands.

"Oh the pain, the humanity!" May cries. "But what's done is done. Everyone else, just continue playing the game. Find those slips and read them aloud, and then there will be a winner!" The speaker clicks as it is turned off.

Jericho raises an eyebrow at Banafrit as Skylar glances confusedly between the speaker and the other girl. Tears stain Banafrit's face as she breathes heavily, staring at the two.

"What exactly is happening here?" Jericho asks.

Banafrit continues to glance downward, and Skylar notices it. She sees the off-white pile at Banafrit's feet. "Wait, is this-" Skylar starts, reaching down for it.

The peace keeper yelps before stomping her sandals onto the paper and holding her weight there. "No! You can't look!"

"Was that the secret?" Jericho asks. Banafrit hesitates before slowly nodding. "Why did you do that? Rip it up, I mean?"

"I don't like this," Banafrit admits. "I read it before I realized what it was. And this- this is stuff that none of us should know about each other. Unless we choose to share it." She lamely hangs her head as she lowers her arms, defeated. "You guys can take my tag, if you want. I don't want to do this. I just want to stop this stupid challenge."

"Then why don't we?" Skylar speaks up. She offers a smile. "We may be on opposite teams but we have the same ideals. You're just the one that found a solution."

"What are you saying, Skylar?" Jericho asks.

"Let's just find the slips, not reading them," she quickly adds. Banafrit frowns. "And rip them up. There can't be a challenge if there are no slips."

"That's, that's genius!" Jericho cries. "Let's do it!"

Banafrit sucks in her lip as she adverts her eyes. "Are you sure?"

Skylar gives an affirmative nod. "And we'll be a team today. There's no point in us standing against each other." She holds out her hand, waiting for Banafrit to react. "What do you say, teammate?"

A small noise escapes Banafrit's throat as she glances between Skylar and her hand. Determination crosses the girl's face as she finally grabs the hand and shakes it. "Teammates!"

"I can't believe that she did that," Blake grumbles. He growls as he runs a hand through his hair.

"Maybe she had the right idea, dude," Oliver says. "Everyone has secrets for a reason, and I think-"

Quickly turning around, Blake peers down at Oliver. "You think what? Come on! Say it."

"It's not really a good idea," he mutters, his words barely audible.

Blake nods and clicks his tongue. "Uh huh, I'll pretend that I didn't hear that. Now hurry up, we're gonna have to hurry and fix that stupid fatty's mistake. She probably lost us some points with her heroic moment."

Victoria stirs in her sleep when she hears loud frantic screeches filling her ears. Her eyes flitter open and she finds herself in a cage. The girl screams as she bolts upright, sitting in her prison, as she looks around. "Wait, what- Why am I in here?"

May has already turned off the announcement system as she turns towards the girl. "Ah! Hello Sleeping Not-Beauty. Did your beauty nap help to make your personality more likeable?"

The girl in the cage growls as she stands up. She rattles the bar of the cage, using all of her force to shake the cage. "Why won't it budge?"

May scoffs. "It's a jail, your jail. You can't get out of there unless I unlock the door and open it."

"Then open it up!" Victoria shrieks.

"Okay!" May says as she bounds over to the door. She clicks her tongue before sticking it out at the girl. "On second thought, I'd rather watch you suffer. It's more fun like this isn't it?"

"You'll pay for this, you stupid bitch!" Victoria screams.

Island Cabana Cam – "Why couldn't anyone be around to see how mean she is to me!" May whines.

"So Banafrit tore up the secret?" Kole asks.

August nods and hums. "Tha' wha' it seems."

"So do we do the same? Find the secrets and tear them up?" Kole asks.

"Why do you even have to ask that!" Sam cries "Of course! We can't read any of these aloud. That would be devastating."

An airy giggle fills the air and the three Singing Vixens look around, searching for the noise. "We got you," a voice cries aloud before a black form jumps out of the shadows and towards the three teammates who scream.

Island Cabana Cam – "This horror is not what I imagined for my day," Fabian mutters.

Island Cabana Cam – "Ah ahmos' died from fright," August admits.

Blake's eyes narrow as he stops in his step. He leans closer to the ground and grins as he finds a slip of paper growing out of the ground. He pulls out the short slip as he reads it.

"Heh," he says, clicking his tongue. "Who knew it would be that easy."

"Did you find something?" Oliver asks. He attempts to look over the boy's shoulder before slinking downward and clenching his fist. Curiosity begs him to look at the secret, but his morals remind him that it isn't the best idea.

"Now where's that microphone?" Blake asks. He picks up the pace as he walks briskly, eyes scanning the horizon.

"Are you really sure this is the best idea?" Oliver asks, desperately trying to keep up with him.

"Oh!" Blake exclaims, finally finding a microphone propped onto a stand. He turns back toward Oliver and grimaces. "Listen, I don't really care if it's the best or the worst. But I'm going to do it. I'm not even sorry."

Oliver's eyes narrow the more he peers at the boy. "Blake, whose secret is that."

Blake clears his throat as he begins to read it. "My name is Oliver Price." Oliver gasps as his heart clenches. He darts forward and quickly reaches for the piece of paper and quickly rips it up. Blake sidesteps and shrugs as he continues. "My secret is I have a thing for the host girl, May."

Oliver shrieks as he tries to take the microphone from Blake. Blake shoves Oliver away and the boy trips to the ground. "She is one of the most beautiful things I have ever laid my eyes on," Blake finishes. He sighs dejectedly and drops the mic, which rolls until it stops near Oliver's head.

"I guess that's a point for the team," Blake says. "Now to find more."

Oliver pushes himself off the ground and looks up at Blake. Tears sting the corners of his eyes. "I can't believe you would do that."

"Eh," Blake says, shrugging his shoulders. "I told you, dude. I'm not here for friends." He rubs his chin. Blake closes the distance between him and Oliver before snatching the tag off Oliver's belt. "Just in case you get any ideas about finding my secret and reading it aloud," he says before walking off and leaving the sad boy alone.

Island Cabana Cam – "I thought these were truths, not fictionalized events created by May," Fabian says.

Island Cabana Cam – "I wouldn't want anyone to know that if this was also my secret," Kole shivers.

Island Cabana Cam – "We're going to find Blake and end his tyranny!" True promises. "I think I know where he is. I heard Oliver crying nearby."

Island Cabana Cam – "He read my secret," Oliver recites, his voice monotone. "He broke my trust and read my secret aloud." His voice cracks and his lower lip trembles. "How could he do that? I thought we were bros!"

Island Cabana Cam – "Was that even a secret?" Blake asks. He shrugs indifferently. "Doesn't really matter to me. I've got some points for my team."

"I got another one over here!" Banafrit cries. Skylar and Jericho jog up to the girl as she tears up the paper and lets it fall from her hand.

The three had decided to work together to finish the work that Banafrit had started. The trio had quickly made progress and had found many of the slips.

"I'm surprised we're finding so many," Skylar comments.

"Maybe everyone gave up with the challenge," Jericho mentions.

Banafrit shakes her head. "I don't think anyone would give up. But… but I think they're all deciding how to act with this challenge. I know Sam, and she wouldn't participate in anything like that."

Jericho hums. "I can't say the same for the rest of my time, but I'd like to think that they're all good people."

"Hmph!" Skylar cries. "Of course they are! We can't even doubt that. They're probably out there, just like we are, trying to stop this dastardly challenge!"

"That's the spirit!" Banafrit cries. "Come on, guys. Let's keep searching! We need to hurry up and find them before Blake does."

Island Cabana Cam – Jericho wipes his hand as a single torn piece of paper falls from it onto the floor of the cabana. "Man, I feel like we've been searching all day. I wonder how many we've actually found."

A branch snaps behind Blake and he pauses in his step. The boy looks behind him as he peers into the distance before shrugging off his hunch and continuing his walk. But then he hears another crack and he stops and slowly begins to walk backward, keeping an eye on the area behind him.

"Blake."

The bully turns around and sees Kole standing there, arms crossed and an unamused look upon him face. Blake scowls upon seeing him, raising a fist.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Blake asks.

Kole shrugs as he lets his arms fall. "Listen, as much as I like a good joke, I don't really appreciate you telling the world someone's secret. I'm all for causing someone to panic, but that just isn't cool."

Blake snorts. "And what are you going to do about it?"

Yawning, Kole raises a hand as he glances at his nails. He inspects them. "Oh, I'm not. I can't bother myself with touching you." He raises his eyes as he stares at the boy. "But them? I can't tell you opinion about them."

"Now!" True calls out.

Blake turns around towards the sudden voice to find four bodies flying towards him. He yells as August and Destery ram into him, but he holds his stance. Sam barrels towards him, arms stretched outright, and pushes him down. Before he can react, True quickly sits on his chest. He quickly tries to swat at the girl with his hands, but Sam and August quickly hold down his arms. Sam winces at the obscenities that he yell (which are too bad to include on television, even with censors).

The bully heaves his body upward as he tries to buck True off him. She cries aloud as she tightens her grip with her legs. "Des Des! Hurry up and pull of his tag!"

Destery falls to the ground as he tries to find the white slip, twisting the belt around the opponent's body until he finally finds it. Destery laughs aloud as he triumphantly pulls off the tag. Blake continues thrashing his body under everyone's hold, swearing louder than before.

Fabian watches safely form the distance, standing beside Kole. "I would say that this is the end of some horror movie, but this is far from over, isn't it?"

Kole shrugs. "At least until elimination tonight. Then it'll end."

Island Cabana Cam – "So True and her group found us and almost took us out, but Destery suggested that we work together. Apparently, they heard us talking," Sam explains. "So we made this plan to find Blake and get him out of the challenge to keep from spilling any more secrets."

Island Cabana Cam – "That was great!" Kole exclaims, laughing loudly in his cabana. He wipes away a tear as he calms himself. "I've been waiting to do that for a few weeks!"

Island Cabana Cam – "I found another secret!" Skylar says. She rips it up in front of the camera before leaning out the cabana. "That'll teach you to mess with people!" she cries aloud.

Island Cabana Cam – "The beast ran forward, its monstrous claws stretched outright. It embodied the fear of each teenager that was trapped upon the shores of that horrid island. Their fears were evident, but in that moment that had worked together to tame a formidable foe."

Fabian ends his sentence and crosses his T's as he sticks out his tongue. "I told you this was a horror story just waiting to happen."

"Well, since you all suck and ruined my episode, this challenge is officially over," May says over the announcement system. "I can't believe that you all managed to get rid of every secret of paper AND got rid of the only people who would do anything about it."

"I actually hate you all," she declares.

A loud exasperated sigh causes static over the system. "Anyway, despite the Singing Vixens being the only team to actually read a secret, they are sadly the loser. Banafrit lost more points for her team than the Dancing Serpents did. So I shall see the losers later for their terrible effort today."

"There, there, it's okay," Skylar comforts. Victoria cries into her shoulder, holding the girl in for a tight hug. "It's all okay. The challenge is over and you're out of the jail."

"I can't believe I was locked up in there!" Victoria wails. "It was horrible. How could anyone do that."

"This is how the competition works," Fabian says.

"But it's not fair. It was cold and it was dark," Victoria complains. "And Oliver continued to cry and it was so horrible." She bursts into more tears, and Skylar tightens her hug around her friend.

"But it's all over now. You'll be okay," Skylar promises. She pulls away and grabs the girl's hand. "How about we go and get some food. I'm starving!"

Victoria sniffles and nods, tightening her grip on Skylar's hand. "Sounds good."

The two girls begin to walk off, leaving Fabian by himself. He smiles softly before it fades into a frown. He turns away from the pair, walking away from the resort's entrance.

"Fabian, are you coming?" Skylar asks. The boy turns around and he sees her brightly smiling. "We can all go and get food. Together!"

The boy's smile returns as he walks towards her, his pace a little faster than normal. "I am not one to declined one of your invitations, Skylar." The girl giggles as she loops her free arm around Fabian's own arm, dragging the two along with her.

"May, can we talk?" Oliver asks.

The girl rushes away from him, up the steps leading to the second floor of the resort. She continues to shake her head as she scurries away.

"May, please."

"What do you want to say, Oliver?" she asks, turning around to face him. "I don't want to hear it."

"You must have known about it!" he cries. "How else could it have been a slip?"

"I- I don't know!" she exasperatedly cries, throwing her arms down. "I thought it was some sort of silly thing, like Whitney believing that cooties are actually real. I didn't think you were serious!"

"Why would I have freaked out so much if it wasn't serious. What Blake read was true and I-"

"Stop, Oliver!" the girl shrieks. The boy stands still at the bottom of the steps, his eyes widening at the sudden tone in the girl's voice. "I'm not serious. So just stop."

August and Kole sit in their cabin. Kole leans back onto his bed, sticking his tongue out as he threads a needle through some fabric. The Singing Vixen girls had discovered that Whitney's sewing set had been left behind accidentally, and he decided that he would make some use of it.

At least Kole can give Whitney some fashionable clothing.

Meanwhile, August is laying down his bed, drawing imaginative shapes on the ceiling. Brows furrow as he tries to remember where he's already drawn, wondering how he can connect everything together.

"Hey August," Kole calls out.

August glances sidways at Kole, noticing that the boy is lowering his sewing materials. "What up?" he asks.

"Do you think I have a chance of winning this competition?" Kole asks.

August hums and pulls himself up so he is now sitting on the bed. He contemplates the notion, head bobbing back and forth. "Ah don' see why ya can't," he says. "Ya got a' much chance as any o' us."

"Good," he says, "because I'm going to win this competition for Whitney."

"Because she's your girlfriend?"

"What? No!" Kole blanches. His shoulders relax as he glances down. "Well, I don't know… But that's not the point! She's taught me a lot about myself, and I never expected that this stupid show could do anything like that. I only came here for an old friend to notice me."

"But, but I've been so stuck in the past that I haven't looked to the future," he continues. "And she helped me get through that. "I haven't really had many friends, and I could confidentially call her my friend and mean it. And know that she feels the same."

"Ah am sorry ta hear that," August says. "Ya'r kinda cool."

Kole laughs, shaking his head. "You're just saying that."

"Mahbe ah am. Maybe ah am not. But only ah know the truth to that," August says. "But ah can say ah like to be with you."

Kole smiles, hiding his reddening cheeks. "Thanks, I kinda needed that."

Silence passes between the two before August speaks up again. "So ya'r not jus' doin' it cuz she migh' be ya sorta g'rlfriend?"

True stretches her body as she works on her yoga pose. Her back bends more and more until there is a satisfying snap. She hums and relaxes her pose for a moment before stretching again. There is a knock at the door. "You may enter," she sings. She opens a single eye and smiles. "Ah! Hello, my dear, Fruity! I feel like I haven't seen you all day today."

Banafrit shakes her head as she fiddles with her fingers. "Nope," she chuckles, "but that's what happens when there's a challenge." A hiccup interrupts her last word, but she still manages to speak. "Though I did see a lot of people on your team. Which was weird. Today's challenge, that is. Not seeing them and not you. Because I'm seeing you now.

Opening another eye, True rolls until she is sitting, slowly stretching her legs in front of her. "You're not here for fun, are you?" she slowly asks. The Egyptian casts her eyes downwards and True pats the spot beside her. True giggles to herself, an attempt to lighten to the mood as Banafrit sits on the floor beside her. "I can be serious sometimes. What's up?"

"I know you can be serious," Banafrit says. "I'm actually here to apologize for yesterday. I shouldn't have been so rude and brash."

True smiles slightly and nods. "I could never be mad at you, dear friend. It's perfectly okay." Her smile fades when she notices Banafrit shifting uncomfortably. "Is there something else?"

"I just- I just wanted to let you know that your secret is safe with me," she admits. "I found the slip for it… during the challenge. When May made her first announcement." She looks sideways at True and can barely see the girl's face through the rims of her magenta glasses. "I ripped it up and immediately scattered the pieces."

She takes a deep breath. "I shouldn't say that many of the secrets are silly. I mean, I don't like admitting that I'm attracted to women, just because others can be mean about it. But yours was serious and shouldn't have been left to broadcast to the world."

True jumps at Banafrit and envelops the girl into a big hug. Banafrit squeals and tenses before relaxing into the touch. It doesn't take long for Banafrit to return the hug. The two sit in silence, hugging each other until True pulls away.

"I thank you, my friend," she says with a smile. "I'm not really ashamed, but my family does worry about appearances. They're three now," True admits, "well almost three. Their birthdays are in a few days."

"What are their names, if you don't mind me asking?" Banafrit asks.

"Athos and Aramis. And I love them so much."

Silence fills the room between the two girls before Banafrit breaks it. "If this is your secret, then why are you telling me about it."

True giggles dreamily before leaning into her box and pulling out a picture. She hands it to Banafrit who smiles at the picture of two young boys, True sitting behind them with her arms around them. "I guess Kole lamenting about Whitney has been making me think about them. I'm normally not away from them for long."

"But why me?"

"Because you went against this horrid challenge and helped to hide the secrets of every person on the island. You're very trustworthy and your words are so, well, me. They're so true."

"But everyone in the world will know. I mean, we're talking about it here."

"I'm sure we can talk to Rinn and ask her to help us out," True says with an affirmative nod. "I'm not worried about people finding out. But if I wish for them to know, I'd rather it be me telling them instead of offhandedly through a mere television program."

Banafrit nods and holds a hand in front of her chest. "Have you thought about telling anyone else?"

"Des Des is my bestest friend here," True says, laughing with glee. She rocks back and forth, idly playing with her toes. "I'll probably tell him about the twins soon. I do wish to continue my friendship even after the competition ends."

Banafrit smiles. "That's good. At least there are some good things to come out of here. This competition, I mean."

"There's a lot more than you think, Fruity. Many of us have grown and evolved. We're meeting people dear to us. We're making friends. Some are finding love." True sighs, resting her chin upon her feet. "This may suck at times, but it's truly magical."

Reaching forward, Banafrit curls a hand around True's own hand and rests it there. "I get that. I've found some unexpected friends-"

"Alright, Singing Vixens! It's that time of the night: elimination!" Dramatic music plays over the island's loudspeakers. Banafrit cannot help but cringe at the sudden noise, but the girl manages to keep her composure and not yelp from fear. "Every Singing Vixen needs to be in the bar room in twenty minutes or face instant disqualification! And I'm sure that every one of you will want to be here tonight," May teases, singing her excitement. "Tootles!"

'Are you worried?" True asks.

Banafrit shakes her head as she smiles, readjusting her glasses to better rest on her face. "For the first time since being here: no. We're gonna get rid of one of the major problems here, True," the Egyptian. "I reassure you."

"Good luck, my little Fruity!" True cries out, reaching over and pulling her into the tightest hug possible.

Closing her eyes, Banafrit takes a deep breath as the hug calms her down. "Don't worry. I've got this."

"Gooooooooood evening, Vixens!" May sings as she waltzes in to the room. "Wasn't this a fun and exciting day." She glances around and frowns. "Well?"

"No," Oliver cries. He's wearing a paper bag underneath his helmet, using the brown parchment to hide his face. "Now everyone knows about my crush."

"Dude, a lot of us already knew," Blake deadpans.

Oliver's cries grow louder. "And I thought we had become friends!"

A loud laugh erupts from Blake as the emo boy covers his nose to hide a snort. "Dude, you thought so wrong."

May glancing away from the crowd, using her own hand to hide her reddening face. "Anywho," she starts, coughing to clear her mind, "there are six of you in this room today, but I only have five drinks. This means, that one of you will be going home to Loser Island tonight. And you will never return to this island!"

"Unless you need us for a challenge. Blah blah blah," Kole explains. "We already know how it works and we know you won't keep us away. Stupid host can't even keep to her own rules."

"It's kind of endearing," Sam says.

"Eh, it ahffective," August mutters.

"Just shut up already and let me do this! I've never been so excited for a ceremony! There was betrayal and mutiny and honestly it's been an overall exciting day!" May exclaims. The room quiets down and she sighs in relief. "So when I call your name, please come up here and get your drink."

"Sam!" The bookworm nods knowingly as she goes up to get her drink. "Oliver!" The boy raises his head and looks up miserably, the biggest frown ever on his face. Sam glances back at him and presses her lips together before nodding apologetically to May and grabbing the boy's drink.

"Kole! August!"

August sniffs the drink cautiously after Kole has grabbed his. "They smell weird," he says.

"It's just your imagination," May says, dismissing his claim with a wave of his hand.

Once everyone is seated, May glances around the room and focuses her attention on the last two contestants. "It's so weird. I remember when there used to be eleven of you," she says. "Oh, how the numbers have dwindled."

She pauses for effect before smiling at the two. "Welcome to the bottom two, Banafrit and Blake. You are both here for vastly different reasons. Banafrit, you went against the entire challenge and helped to hide everyone's secrets. That alone should have cost you the match. But you also tore up one of the secrets you found; and the cameras couldn't even pick up whose it was!"

Banafrit raises her nose into the air as she looks away from the host. "You have no right to know this."

May growls and reaches for the girl, only to quickly return her hand to her side. "You're lucky that I can't touch you," she murmurs. Her attention shifts to Blake. "You are the only one IN THIS ENTIRE GAME that actually participated today," May explains. "Though you read your own teammate's secret, it still got you half a point. Even though Tutti Frutti over there gave you a negative balance."

"And I'd do it all again," Blake exclaims, crossing his arms over his chest.

"There were a landslide of votes tonight, and Blake should be the one going home," May reveals. Blake cocks an eyebrow and smiles to himself. "But I say, should. Get up here and get your drink."

The room gasps as Blake snidely walks up to the counter to grab his drink.

"But we all voted against him!" Banafrit cries out. She hiccups as she speaks, tripping over her words. She struggles to breathe as her anxiety flares. "He should be gone and out of here with no way to come back!"

May clicks her tongue. "You may have all voted for him, but there's one little issue."

"I got immunity, you fucking dyke."

"Wai-, did he jus'-" August starts, unable to finish his thought.

Kole inhales deeply, his teeth clenching together as

"W-w-what did you just call me?" Banafrit asks, her voice low.

"D-d-die I fucking stammer?" Blake asks. "You don't really try to hide it. Only an idiot can say that they haven't figured anything out. But I found your secret in the forest." The man grins. "Can't believe you thought you found them all. You're a fucking weirdo and you don't know how to count."

"I'm gonna kick his ass!" Sam cries out. May bolts forward and holds the girl back as the bookworm fights against his grip. "You can't just say that to someone! Don't listen to him."

"Tell me, Banafrit," Blake says. He saunters over to her. "Did you actually think you were special? Just because you like other girls?" Banafrit continues to hiccup, her gaze averted to the floor. "You're worthless, stupid. You're nothing."

"No." Banafrit raises her eyes as she looks at Blake, her mouth pressed into a thin line. "I am something. I'm loved. I have friends. I continue to evolve each day and change who I am. But you!" her voice rises as she talks. "You are just a rude an arrogant boy who will never amount to anything except for bullying and manipulating every person that you can!"

Blake steps closer to her until they are almost touching. He lifts his drink and dumps it on head, the colorful beverage staining Banafrit's dress. "Don't make me laugh. You're just-"

He screams as she clutches at his nose, tumbling backwards as he leans forward. Banafrit breathes heavily, her fist still curled into a fist. Kole laughs loudly behind the girl and Sam's mouth gapes open. May mutters under her breath and August leans forward.

"I am special!" Banafrit defends. "Everything about me makes me special. You're just jealous because you'll never change."

"I can't believe you fucking punched me!"

"You should! Because I'm much more than you ever imagined! And you're just a sad mean boy that will forever be alone and will never have anything good for himself."

"I'm gonna kill her!" Blake exclaims as he lunges for the girl. Banafrit raises both of her fists again, ready to defend herself, but the bully is held back by August and Kole. He thrashes against them to break free, but the two manage to hold him back.

"I'm gonna kill you first if you touch her!" Sam yells. She buckles against May as she tries to break free.

"Oliver, can you please help hold Blake back!" May cries. "Please!" she begs and the boy finally reacts, slowly making his way over. "Banafrit, you should probably go before this gets ugly."

Banafrit nods as she pushes her glasses up with a finger. She takes the few steps to meet face-to-face with Blake, who violently shakes his body. "You better watch yourself. I'm not afraid you anymore. And I will not hesitate to fight back," she declares.

She walks past him and turns around before she leaves the room. "Oh, by the way, Blake, you should let yourself go home. Your lovey dovey shrine to Gwen back at home is getting lonely without you. However will she know of your love if you're not there to brush the hair of a fake replicated doll!"

The girl leaves the room as Blake screams angrily.

Island Cabana Cam – "No!" Victoria shrilly cries into the camera. She bangs her fist against the wall of the small cabana. "I can't believe I missed Blake getting punched!"

"How come that couldn't have been me! Me punching him. Not me getting punched."

Island Cabana Cam – "I heard that Blake finally got what was coming to him," True says. She smiles sadly. "While I'm happy that karma nipped his behind, I shall miss my dear Fruity. Have fun elsewhere, friend!"

Jericho stares at the piece of paper in his hand before he takes a deep breath. Hesitation is clear on his face and keeps him from doing anything, but he sighs again and knocks on the door in front of him.

The door opens, and Rinn smiles at him. "Hey!" she exclaims. "I see you got my letter." Her eyes gesture to the paper in his hands.

"Yeah, I did," he says. He stuffs the paper into his pockets and then returns his attention towards her. "But I gotta talk to you about something-"

"Can I talk first?" she asks. Rinn waits for his approval before continuing. "I'm sorry

His forced smile fades. "You know my secret?"

She nods. "May made sure that Rachel and I knew them all after Banafrit suggested ripping them and hiding them," she explains. She leans against the doorframe as she averts her gaze. "I- I don't want to hurt you. Jericho, I actually really like spending time with you, even if I'm skittish. I'm just." She pauses. "Not used to this?"

Jericho nods. "But I do know something," Rinn continues. "I want to keep spending time with you. And you can tease me all you want. I think it's… kinda endearing and I-"

"How about that movie then?" he interrupts with a hopeful smile.

The host nod and grabs his hand before lightly tugging on it. "I'd be delighted," she says. "I can't say no to someone who would conquer their fears just because I asked.

The boy laughs lightly before he follows the girl into the room. "But I get to pick, host girl!"

"Wow, it's hard to believe the events that went down today," Rachel exclaims into the camera. "Banafrit quickly caught her helicopter and is currently on her way to Loser Island. And even though she won't have Sam with her, I'm sure the girl will still have some fun in a new setting."

"But aren't you all proud of her and the way she finally stood up for herself. Against Blake?" she asks, widening her eyes. "My goodness, I'm still so shocked. "I'm also proud of May for actually holding someone back and actually helping. What is this new world?"

"Almost everyone was able to keep their secrets hidden, though May has been moping all day about it. At least she finally got some much-needed drama. Right?"

"What sort of crazy antics will this show find as we continue?"

"How long will we have to wait for a new episode?"

"There's only one place you can find this all out. And it's here on:"

"TOTAL!"

"DRAMA!"

"RESORT!"

Hi everyone! I'm sure many of you are actually confused as to why I'm updating. I'm sure some of you are confused about why the story was updated on March 2, even though something had been deleted.

Truth be told, I had a fever dream. About this story. It's always been one of my favorite projects and it has honestly made me sad because this was never finished. And I'm here to finish it. Even if our wonderful family isn't here anymore to read it, I'm determined to finish this story before 2020 can begin. So updates will begin, starting with this one. So I took down the outline for how this is supposed to end. I'm gonna keep some of the layout and I'm going to create the remaining episodes until we finally have a finished project. Truth be told, I forgot how to write for TDR. It's so different from my other writing (which, I just published a new story on March 2, and you can tell that these are vastly different).

I know it's weird for it to be updated for so long, but think of it as a wave of nostalgia. A lot of us have grown up since this story first began in 2012. A lot of us have grown up even more since I've last published an official chapter. I can say that I'm finally finishing my university studies! I graduate on April 27 and I'm currently working on a thesis as I come to the end of my SIXTH YEAR. I don't know where everyone else is, but we've all gone off to do our own things.

But if there's ever a community that you need for that nostalgia factor. Or even just old friends. Total Drama Resort will be here. I'm excited for this journey to come because it means that I'll be finishing one of my most treasured projects.

So until next time, I'm KaidaThorn.

And there will be more to come.

So look forward to it!
