Silent Musing

Joshua sits in front of the Hachiko statue, eyes absently taking in all the humans walking there, interacting with each other, laughing, smiling and over all being happy. He takes all of that in and a sardonic smirk appears on his face.

These humans had no idea their life was about to be taken simply because he was bored.

Sighing, Joshua leans back, supporting his body weight with his hands, and gazes at the briliantly blue sky. So terribly blue it hurts his eyes. Would the sky still be there if he had won the game? … Well, it might. Josh did love beauty, after all, and the sky really was beautiful.

Not that the humans aren't beautiful. Okay, Josh admits, he still thinks most humans are disgustingly stupid and don't even have an ounce of real soul in their selves. They still talking in monotone, dreaming of the same thing and itching for oh so common objects.

Not all humans, Josh can give the species that much, but most humans.

The only exception Josh can give certainly falls for–

"What are you doing, gazing up at the sky like that?"

–His beloved proxy, of course.

"Cut your creepy smile, Josh. It's scary."
