"IZAYA!"

Mai stormed into the apartment and into Izaya's bedroom. The info broker was lying lazily on the bed staring at an enraged Mai.

"What's wrong Mai-chan?" purred Izaya, "You look tense."

Her day had started off as just another day of job hunting. A few hours later, she went back to the apartment to find that she had a visitor.

"Well if it isn't Mai Kunishi"

She looked up and saw the Yakuza hotshot from the other night standing in front of the apartment building.

"I don't have time for you" Mai sighed,

"I should say so " smirked the hotshot, "You took on three more contracts this morning."

Her eyes shot open and she turned to look at the smirking Yakuza boss.

"How on earth did you-"

"I'm the one who gave them to you"

It didn't take her long to figure out what happened but it didn't make sense. Izaya had talked about letting her expose herself so why did he tell him? Had he gotten tired of waiting for her to reveal herself? Oh well, one thing was certain, she was going to kill that info broker.

"Alright, so why are you still here? Surely you didn't stick around just to tell me that."

"Not at all." Laughed the Yakuza member , "I came to make a proposition."

"Oh, and what might that be?"

"I want you to work for me. I want you to work for me and only me."

"And why would I do that?"

"You're far too dangerous to be left alone. And I can pay you far more then you currently make." He sighed, "Plus you're cute and I like your style."

"I'm flattered but I'm going to have to pass."

"Alright" He said as he handed her his card, "But if you change your mind, give me a call.

Mai stormed through the building into Izaya's room with every intention of ripping his head off.

"WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO SELL THAT INFORMATION?!"

"Well I am a information dealer." Smirked Izaya as he moved off the bed, "You never said I couldn't sell it"

"You're a smart man Izaya. " Mai Glared, "It was more then obvious that I wanted that to stay between us."

,Izaya just chuckled and moved towards her "You look so stressed, Mai-chan."

As angry as she was, she was more then a little unnerved by this. He stepped forward and she stepped back. This pattern continued until she was pinned to the wall by the mischievous man.

"W-What do you think you're- AH!"

He wasted no time finding her weak spot and the pleasant tingling sensation quickly flooded her body.

"This isn't over Iza-AH!"

"Are you sure?" purred Izaya, "You look a little distracted to me."

His hands crept along her frame and came to rest at her hips. At this point, the wonderful mix of sensations had consumed her. She couldn't help but let out a moan as his fingers began to massage her hips. An hour later, the two found themselves panting on Izaya's bed. He snaked his arm around her waist and pulled her close.

,Mai sighed and laid her head on his chest "I think I hate you."

"No you don't" Izaya said with a smirk, "In fact, I think you love me."

"Only because of your drug."

"No" he hummed, "I think there's more to it than that."

"What are you talking about?" she groaned,

"The drug is called Affection, it brings your fondness for me to the surface and magnifies it."

He was lying. He had to be, twisting the truth was his specialty after all.

"Oh please" Mai scoffed, "If that was the case, that would mean…"

"That's right" Izaya whispered in her ear, "On some level, way deep down, pass your irritation and your ice glares, you actually like me."

"You're full of it."

"If you don't believe me" smirked Izaya, "See Shinra Kishitani, he's the one who gave me the drug. Here's his address."

I had heard of this guy, he was a very skilled underground doctor. If anyone could supply Izaya with a complex substance, it would be Shinra Kishitani. He handed her the slip of paper. From the looks of it, his place was ten-minute train ride away.

After making a quick stop, she made her way to the station. The building was far nicer than she thought it would be. She had expected a black market doctor to live in a rundown building on the rough side of town but she was pleasantly surprised. A man a little older than her opened the door. He had brown hair, glasses, he wore a lab coat and an unusually warm smile for a guy in his line of work.

"Im guessing you're Shinra Kishitani?"

"That's correct" smiled the doctor, "How may I help you?"

He invited her in and she explained her situation.

"Well, that would explain why Izaya wanted it." Sighed Shinra,

"Why would you sell him something like that?"

"Well, he offered a nice price and it seemed harmless enough." The doctor shrugged,

"I see" sighed Mai, "Do you have the antidote?"

"I'm afraid not. The only thing you can do is let it run its course."

Of course it wouldn't be that easy. Izaya wouldn't have mentioned Shinra if it would end his fun.

"How long does it take to run it's course?"

"Four to six months, depending on the dosage."

Four to six months, that's how long she would be stuck like this? She had been with him for a little over a month now. She couldn't imagine staying like this for another three to five months! Even now, she was craving the info broker.

After a few minutes of tea and polite conversation, Mai was back on the train. This was insane, when had she become so pathetic? She had grown tired of his game but not of him. It was time to flip the board and start an entirely new game. But for now, there was work to be done.

"Mai-chan" hummed Izaya as she walked through the door, "You're back sooner than expected."

The sound of his voice alone seemed to soothe the cravings. Everything would be ok. So long as he didn't touch her, she could control herself.

"Hello Izaya" she said getting off my phone, "We need to talk."

"Aww, straight to business. That's no fun." Izaya replied, "But now I'm curious. What do you want to talk about, Mai-chan?"

"What would it take to secure the information you sold today?"

"My, my that's rather vague." Smirked Izaya, "As you know, I'm in the business of selling information. To secure all the information I've sold today would be-"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about."

Those big brown eyes he loved so much had turned to stone. There was calmness to her that he had never seen before. This was the kind of calmness that came with a truly angered woman. Izaya couldn't help but smile. Mai was getting serious. He had waited a while for this. He couldn't wait to see what the ex-waitress had in store.

"You need to relax, Mai-chan. I only sold that information to one client."

"Only one?"

"Yes, he was the only one to ask the question so he was the only one to get the answer."

"I see" Mai murmured, "So how much would it take to keep you from selling it to any other clients?"

,Izaya chuckled and got up from the couch "All you needed to do was ask."

"Well, that was easier then I thought it would be. Thank you Izaya." Said Mai as she walked to the door,

"And where do you think you're going?"

"I have an appointment across town."

"Is that so?"

This was getting dangerous. As the conversation carried on, Izaya had been closing the space between them. She walked a little faster to the door but Izaya seemed to sense her panic and quickened his pace as well. Her hand was on the doorknob when she felt his finger run up her back. The strange tingle started to spread through her body. But she had just enough strength to open the door and quickly close it behind her. On the other side of the door, she could hear Izaya's laughter.

"I see" Izaya laughed, "You think you can overcome the effects of the drug by avoiding physical contact. How cute."

He had a point, avoiding his touch might help but it wouldn't be enough. But oh well, she had a plan in motion.

It took a five-minute train ride to reach her next destination.

"Mis. Kunishi, I've been expecting you." said the Yakuza member from this afternoon, "Shall we get down to business?"
