Spiderman: Ninja Chronicles Update

To the multiple fans I've been amassing over the years, I would like to apologize. Until further notice, this story is on hiatus.

Now I kind of guessed you all knew that, being that I haven't updated in so long. But the truth is I kind of lost interest in Naruto. After the Five Kage Summit, I felt the series went right down the crapper. Sasuke and Orrochimaru's rehabilitation was half baked and kind of hard to believe. Mostly from the snake, seeing all those filler arcs from the original series hasn't helped convinced me. The whole thing about hiding a war from Naruto was a little much. Plus Kagura showing up at the end confused me a bit. Although that part I can look over being I don't know too much about Japanese mythology.

And yes, one of my biggest complaints was Naruto marrying Hinata. Don't judge me, I'm not that petty he didn't hook up with Sakura. The main reason is the lack of development and the amount of hypocrisy. All it took was a damned scarf and he fell head over heels in love with a girl that he forgot existed on multiple occasions. Plus all the people fawning over Hinata and hating Sakura for doing the same thing, trying to grow but failing in the process. Granted, in the first few arcs Sakura was a bitch, but she grew up over time.

Another thing is I hate is Boruto in general. I feel they're trying too hard to duplicate the success of Dragon Ball Z way too hard. Plus Boruto is a total ass, making Naruto himself look well behaved. Although despite my hatred for her father, I do like Sarada as a character. Personally I wish that kid was made the main character for the series.

Now, to the main reason as to why I'm doing this proper excuse. To those of you unaware, Stan Lee has passed today, and well, it hurts. One of the greatest legends of all time has gone, and he helped form several of my favorite fandoms. Among them aside from Marvel Comics are Super Sentai and Kamen Rider.

So, as sort of an apology, here's a preview for what's to come for my planned story arcs:

Song of Shriek: Tayuya of the Sound Five was revealed to survive her death. (Common belief she did) A nomad tribe found her and healed her. The process amplified her vocal cords, giving Tayuya the ability to scream sonic blasts. Naruto as Spiderman nearly blows his identity fighting her.

Showdown with the Sinister Six: Six of Spiderman's old enemies, Doc Ock, Man-Wolf, Beetle, Shriek, Mysterio, and Hydroman, band together and fight the web slinger.

Clash of Carnage: Naruto's headache get worse, revealing that his separating with the symbiote extracted part of the Kurama's chakra. The fusion created Carnage, a self-sustaining chakra eating monster. To make matter's worse when Naruto gets too close to Carnage, he passes out.

The Spider-Verse: A multi-part story arc. Danzo is revealed to be in possession of a Thunder Shard, a lightning chakra infused stone given to Minato by A in a failed attempt to kill the Fourth Hokage, claiming it was a peace offering, but intended to blow up. It's stole by Wolf-Spider, Naruto's villainous and poison using Spiderman counterpart. In Wolf-Spider's dimension the council became impatient waiting for Tsunade after Hiruzen died, and gave the job to Danzo. In this timeline, Naruto was sold to Orrochimaru and experimented on. Among these experiments included manipulating spider DNA in humans. This infusion gave Wolf-Spider his powers, including four giant spider legs that can leave behind a powerful toxin. Upon escaping, he killed Kakashi and took his Anbu Mask, using it as his own. Having grown bored of torturing his former friends and comrades, Wolf-Spider decided to make a deal with the demon Dormommu, with the intent of using the Siege Perilous to escape dimensions and wanted to use the Thunder Shard to power the Siege Perilous, and is given an army of Mindless Ones. With the help of Dr. Kimyō (the Ninja Chronicle counterpart of Dr. Strange), chases him throughout dimensions. In actuality, Wolf Spider wants to steal the DNA of other Spiders to become a Spider-God, but needs the DNA of the Mainstream Marvel Comics Peter Parker to do so. In his quest, Naruto was to meet others Spidermen, including the one from MTV's Spiderman and help him return to his role as a hero. Another was to be Omoi from the cloud village that essentially became his world's Miles Morales. Also one was going to be a Road to Ninja Naruto who became Scarlet Spider.

Return to the Leaf Village: After stopping Wolf-Spider, Naruto reluctantly returns to the leaf when it's discovered Mr. Negative has set up shop, forcing Spiderman to fight enemies old and new. In this arc, Spiderman was going to team up with other heroes like Iron Fist, The Fantastic Four, and the X-Men, (Wolverine included), occasionally to stop the villain of the week.

One such part was going to include the last few episodes of the Twelve Guardian filler arc from Naruto Shippuden. Naruto would discover that Electro had survived his encounter prior and was sent to the leaf village via a generator from Ozcorp. Due to the Root's orders Spiderman can't stop Kazuma in time and limelight goes off as planned. However Electro absorbs the attack becoming more powerful than ever.

Another plan was to go with my Sasuke is Venom idea. Itachi returns to the leaf to reunite with Naruto, hours before his death. The symbiote would return, grown stronger in an attempt to bond with Sasuke and kill Naruto. Itachi jumps in the way and temporarily becomes Venom before jumping off. In doing so, the trace amounts of the symbiote fuse together with the multitude of medications Itachi took, turning the rouge Uchiha into Anti-Venom. With his help, Spiderman and Ant-Venom beat Danzo, who wanted to kill Itachi as a means of tying up loose ends.

The last few chapters of the arc was to be a hybrid of Maximum Carnage and Spiderman No more. Ino helps her new master Red Skull, whose identity I will still keep secret because I can't give everything away, tries to kill Spiderman with a homemade serum. The attack works part way, removing Naruto's Spider powers. In this event, Kiria arrives and helps Naruto cope, at the same time both Carnage and Pain attacks the village. Eating one of Pain's transceivers, Carnage would have discharged a colossal wave of chakra, turning him into a giant. The explosion not only would have restored Naruto's powers, but copied them into Kiria, turning her into this world's Spider-Gwen, with the extra ability to create energy spider legs on her back. The two team up and stop Carnage.

The final story arc of the fanfic was going to be: Mr. Negative's End Game. Negative revealed to create a device to destroy the village boosting his own powers and kill the Elders for their role in his imprisonment in Weapon X. As a means of stalling for time/ killing Spiderman, Negative creates a brand new, teched out Sinister Six, forcing Naruto to call on the other heroes he's met. While fighting on the machine, Green Goblin would have showed up and mutated into his Ultimate Counterpart.

Upon returning to Blaze City, both Naruto and Kiria are offered to join a new team of Protectors: The Avengers.

I honestly don't know if I would continue into a sequel after that, or just left it alone.
