Pursued academia.

Seven…

Beautiful girlfriend.

Six…

Friends.

Five…

Four…

But you can't escape it.

Three steps…

Not destiny.

Two steps…

"Sam?"

One...

The yellow of his eyes shines in the lamplight as she screams.

She is raised to the ceiling, a mirror image of the mother's path all those years ago.

Sam's fate is sealed.

After all, nothing can crush the light from your soul like watching your family burn.
