"Why did you drag me over here?" Drake wondered as he tried to remove his arm from the seven year old.
Aiden pointed at the small fluff ball on her bed. "Cara needs a bed."
"And I'm here because…why?" Drake shifted his pack and heard his own Exceed mewl.
"Kitty wants a pretty bed." The blond pointed to an iron scrollwork doll house swing her best friend made her for her birthday.
Drake sighed and palmed his forehead. "Flame, Cara will outgrow the bed by the time I finish it." His red eyes looked at the violet color Exceed.
"Kitty should have a pretty bed." Aiden insisted.
"Kitty likes your bed." Drake huffed back, grimacing when his Exceed joined Aiden's on her pink bed.
The blond pouted but her eyes sparkled when a new thought came to mind. "Drake~"
Red eyes rolled, "No."
"But…" Aiden's lower lip quivered.
"No," He stated gruffly. He loved his best friend, but he did not like having his magic training double or triple when his father found out he had played a girl's game. He still felt sore from the training.
Aiden continued to pout with tears threatening to spill, leaving her best friend with only one option left to make her happy again before her father and brother smelled her tears.
Drake sighed and rubbed his neck. With a moan he resigned himself over to the mercy of his father if the iron mage found out. "I'll play house with you."
Aiden squealed in delight and smiled, jumping up to kiss her best friend's cheek before searching for her house play things.
