Based on something Tyrese Gibson said in an interview. I'm on a roll today! Must be the shot the doc gave me lol. I don't own four brothers.
We're brothers. Not even by blood, but by choice...
It might not always seem like it, but I know enough about the world to hold on to what I've got, we all do. Maybe that's why we all fit so well together despite being so different. We all know what it's like to be alone, to stand alone and have no one behind you backing you up. We haven't talked about it, but it's an unspoken rule in this family. We back each other up, no matter what.
I know other foster children who ended up with each other in the same house, and they barely tolerate each other. I pity them, cause they'll never know what it's like. We didn't just become this, we chose to become a family.
Being the youngest Jack gets teased a lot. He hates it, but at the same time accepts it for what it is. I feel kind of sorry for him at times when Bobby goes to far with the gay jokes. So I sneak him a drink or two now and then, or I used too, until Bobby found out and started raging about him only being 15. Honestly he can be a little uptight at times. I mean, Bobby at 15 had to have been a sight right?
If Jack's the moody youngest brother with a tendency to end up in trouble and Bobby's the head of the family, and the one with the most dangerous ideas of course, then Jerry's the logical one. He tries to stay out of trouble, it dosen't usually work out for him since we're his brothers, but he tries.
And then we have...me. I'm the guy that get things done. And I'm hot as hell. No seriously, I'm all business when someone is messing with my family, but other than that I'm actually a funny guy. I'm kind of in between, I have no problem giving Jack a drink and make sure the kid is having some fun, but I'm not above keeping him in line if Bobby for some reasons not available (yes, like being occupied with jail).
I love being a part of a family, even though we would probably never say it like that, we all feel the same. And we have a reputation in town that usually protects us, for the most part anyway. When we walk down the street most guys look the other way. They know it's stupid to mess with us, we've proven that more times than I can count. Everyone in this town knows who the Mercer brothers are, we made sure of it a long time ago. Even though we weren't born brothers, we chose to be, somehow that makes it even more important to us.
Angel's thoughts... I'm so stuck on Bobby and Jack I sometimes forget the other brothers, but I think they deserve some time too right?
