First, a rant:

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, FANFICTION DOT NET? You have a list of characters I can choose as the central figures of my stories. That's quite a nice little feature. BUT VECTOR PRIME ISN'T ON THE LIST. Vector SIGMA, who appeared in about ten stories in the entire franchise (and that's counting multi-part episodes as more than one appearance), is on the list. Astoria, G1 Powergilde's one-time "girlfriend," is on the list. The Diagnostic Drone, a sparkless, but snarky little whipping boy from Beast Machines, is on the list. Igor, a severed head from DOTM, is on the list. The CYBER RAPTORS, mindless animal drones from one episode of Beast Wars, are ON THE LIST. VECTOR PRIME, A MAIN CHARACTER IN TRANSFORMERS: CYBERTRON/GALAXY FORCE, THE KEEPER OF SPACE AND TIME, THE CHARACTER WHO SET THE SERIES INTO MOTION, THE ONLY CHARACTER TO DIE HEROICALLY IN THE ENTIRE SERIES, IS. NOT. ON. THE. LIST.

Fanfiction dot net, I have one thing to say to you:

YOU SPARKLESS SPAWN OF A GLITCH.

Ahem.

The following is from my freshman year's dreaded poetry assignment:

Guardian

All is lost
We can never win
All our hope has gone

We're trapped in this prison
There is no escape
Unless I pay the price

The ultimate sacrifice
To free my comrades
How could I?

My temporal powers
Have faded away
But this knot of time I must untie

I cannot, but I must
And as I turn back the hands
I can see the way

"Now my life has meaning."
For I have laid it down for my friends
And it has been my honor

"I finally understand the true value of time.
For it is the bonds between us
That give time its meaning."

This poem is based on the Transformers: Cybertron episode "Guardian," in which Vector Prime, the "keeper of space and time," offers his life to allow his fellow Autobots to escape from the prison of an alternate universe by reversing time and unsealing the bridge between that universe and theirs. The quotes are spoken by Vector Prime.

And, finally:

SHAME ON YOU, FANFICTION DOT NET.

Shaaaaaaaaaaaame.
