HalfafanD: And guess what?! It's getting a total re-write! LOL! See what I did there, with the... and the...

*deafening silence*

*clears throat awkwardly*

Anyway, yeah. So I probably mentioned this a few times (both in this story and others), but this story is broken. So I'm re-writing it. The plot, the story, the details, everything. I got WAY too off-track with this one so I'm putting the train back on it's tracks. I hope you guys don't mind but this story wasn't going anywhere beforehand, trust me.

But enough with the train references and terrible jokes! On with the story!

Disclaimer: I do not own Danny Phantom or Total Drama Revenge of the Island.

Total Drama Phantom!

"Two hurls down, eleven to go. Who will be eliminated next? Tune in and find out on Total. Drama. Revenge of the Isl-"

The host on the televised program never managed to finish his sentence, seeing as the TV was quickly shut off, curtesy of a certain goth teen.

"There just wasting their lives competing for money from that Chris guy. He's so cruel to them with all those challenges." She scoffed.

"But Sam, that's what makes it interesting. He creates these nearly impossible challenges to attract viewers." Her friend said back, leaning over to look at her. "But yeah, it would be nice if they went at least a little easy on them." He then glanced at the third of the bunch who sat between them. "What do you think Danny?"

It was a lazy summer afternoon, and the Phantom gang decided to watch some TV. Normally on a lazy day like this, there was always some ghost. But today was completely ghost-free.

By now, Danny, Sam, and Tucker have all graduated their sophomore year and now were officially Juniors. Or at least they will be once the next school year starts.

And in that past year, Danny and many of the other ghosts have fallen into a sense of normalcy. Sure ghost attacks were a regular thing and Danny always showed up to stop them. But for ghosts like Ghost Writer, Undergrowth, Nocturn; they were all one-time incidents. Danny had patched up relationships and became friends with many of his old enemies, such as Ember, Jonny, and even Poindexter. He even made it a self-tradition to attend the Christmas truce party.

As a result, not as many ghosts passed through the portal to go after Danny or wreck havoc on the town. So in turn he now had a lot more time to spend with his two friends, both socially and for homework and study nights.

And today was one of those days. It was summer vacation and no ghosts have attacked all day. Danny himself even knew that Skulker was running a maintenance check on his battle suit with the help of Technus, and the Box Ghost was out on a date with the Lunch Lady (Ew). So the halfa had the whole day to himself and his friends.

It was actually Tucker who suggested they watch the show. He said he had watched a few episodes from the last three seasons and found it to be a pretty funny show. But once they got a few minutes in, Danny was starting to wonder if his best bud's humor changed since he last saw him, because it almost felt like the poor teens were being tormented.

"I don't even know why we're even watching this," Danny commented.

Sam shrugged. "I don't know. I guess it's because of how bizarre the challenges are." She guessed.

"Yeah, but not bizarre enough. At least to us anyway," Tucker said smirking.

Danny chuckled. "Yeah, maybe they should have ghosts in their show." Danny joked. The three lightly laughed.

"Yeah, maybe you should join the cast," Tucker stated, his laughter doubling. Once he got his chuckles down, he looked up to see that neither Danny or Sam joined in his laughter. "What?"

Danny gave a nervous chuckle. "I don't think that's a good idea. I mean, I know when it comes to ghost hunting and keeping my secret we've already got it down pat. But I'll be all alone up there, with cameras watching my every move."

"Yeah, it's a whole other ballgame," Sam agreed. "Besides, you know how Danny is in the spotlight, especially as Phantom."

Danny playfully glared at the smirk the goth threw his way. "I'm not that bad."

Tucker snickered. "Dude, you addressed Mr. Lancer as a citizen in your cheezy hero voice last week."

Danny's cheeks burned, recalling the incident. Mr. Lancer had gotten into the fold when Skulker was a bit too excited about his new upgraded missiles.

"Well excuse me if I was trying to uphold my secret, I just don't want Danny Phantom to attract too much attention. Everyone treats him as a celebrity nowadays, I'd rather avoid scenarios like that."

Sam placed a hand on his shoulder. "That's just fine Danny. Frankly, I'd be worried if you enjoyed being treated like that."

"Yeah man," Tucker joined in. "I was just thinking hypothetically. There's no way you'd actually end up on the show if you don't want to."

"Yeah," Sam agreed. "You'd have to submit a video to compete and even then it's a matter of being chosen. And the series is already in mid-season now."

"Guess you're right," Danny gave in. "But it is a funny thought, though." He then waved a hand over his head dramatically. "Danny Phantom: Total Drama contestant. Will he survive Chris's crazy challenges?"

"Is that a trick question?" Tucker quipped.

The three friends then fell into a fit of giggles, finding the idea way too hilarious. Danny Phantom, a ghost teen hero who was used to dealing with one kind of crazy, try and compete against a whole other brand of crazy.

Unbeknownst to the trio, a tiny spy camera was perched on the wall, suspiciously shaped to look like a Plasmius ladybug. And the person on the other end of that camera, miles away in a neighborhood called Ultraposh Water Heights, sat Vlad Masters. The man grinned as he observed the teens on screen.

Technically, Danny had somewhat patched things up with the billionaire too. Since the numerous crazy incidents when Vlad took office as the mayor, about half-way through his sophomore year, after a particular fiasco involving ectoplasmic goo and pink glitter, Danny finally had a chat with the man and they both agreed to re-instate a new truce.

They couldn't bother each other every single day. Danny had both ghost attacks and school to deal with, while Vlad had to attend meetings, both as the mayor and a businessman with many companies under his belt. There was no way either could handle the extra pressure added by the other.

So the two agreed to tone down their behavior. Vlad would ease off on the evil schemes and Danny wouldn't go pester the man. If either of them had bothered the other already that month, then they had to wait until the month after the next to try again.

And as far as Vlad was concerned, he hadn't messed with Daniel in two months. Smirking, the billionaire pulled out his cell and dialed a number, placing the phone by his ear as he muted the TV.

"Yes hello. This is Vlad Masters," He greeted. "I'm calling with an offer for your show. I believe I have a way to make it even more interesting."

HalfafanD: YES! Finally getting to this story. I'm putting myself through serious mental strain for you guys. Dozens of sleepless nights brainstorming with several MORE dozen Dr. Pepper bottles downed and fingers flying over this keyboard. I think I broke a few pieces. LOL!

Anyway, hope you appreciate this new re-write. Please review, no flames.

See you guys next chapter!
