So after I contemplated whether I should continue... I decided I will. The amount of comments were pretty sad but it is to be expected. At this point, I'm kind of 'eh'. I didn't edit because this story is no longer in my high priorities.

There will be 28 chapters maximum because that's how much the story has left to burn.

Chapter 23: Addicted

"So talk." Sebastian moved forward to catch Ciel's red lips in his, but the shorter man moved to the side and stepped away from him.

Ciel cleared his throat and when he saw Sebastian stepped forward to him, he held out a hand to keep the other away from him. At least to keep him a few inches away and not smashed against him.

Yet instead of keeping his distance, Sebastian grabbed his hand and pulled gently to bring the hand to his mouth and pressed a kiss onto the palm. "I missed this, Ciel." He continued to press more kisses until he reached Ciel's wrist which he nibbled on the bone that protruded slightly.

The arm was snatched away which made Sebastian glance up to see a flushed Ciel. He was blushing, and he cradled his hand to his chest before he pursed his lips once. He sniffed and tried to gather his wits. "I'm serious. We need to sit down- "At Sebastian's step towards him, he backed away again. "- Away from each other and talk like adults."

Ciel, watching the older man, went to sit on the squeaky chair which was Sebastian's. He gestured for Sebastian to sit down in the guest's chair which gifted him a raised brow, but the man sat down anyway.

"So what do you want to talk about? I take it that it has to do with Spears, cake, and us." Sebastian leaned back and crossed his legs to regain a more regal appearance. It worked and Ciel wanted to grab those long legs and pull them apart, so he could go in between them.

He shook his minutely to straighten his thoughts. "Not exactly but it does have to do with us." Ciel sucked the inside of his cheek before he scooted the chair inwards and placed his arms on the huge desk. "I think we didn't understand what each other wants and so that's why all this- "he gestured between them, "- bullshit has happened."

Sebastian frowned but nodded slowly. "So, you want to go back to the previous deal? I don't know if that is a good idea anymore. We both want different things so I'm not sure how that would turn out. It has already combusted and we were both left angry."

"That's the thing! You don't understand. I don't just want a fucking 'deal'. I'm not a piece of paper that you could sign off!" Ciel stood up making the chair fly back a few inches. He walked around the desk and grabbed Sebastian's collar and held tight. "Look at me as an actual person and not just one of your other students!"

Sebastian stood up and pushed Ciel away just hard enough for him to stumble back into the desk. They were back to square one. "I do look at you more than just a student! I let you get away with so much shit. Any other student would be expelled already." He sighed and looked away. "The thing is, I don't know how to keep the students under control to where they would actually mind. They just don't listen with physical punishment."

Ciel opened his mouth in surprise and pure confusion. "What the fuck? Are you serious right now? Are you that scared of actually failing in controlling students? What the hell did you do when we were in that stupid 'deal'?!" Did Sebastian still punish them like always?

Caught in the lie, Sebastian tried to backpedal. "No. I just sent them to the director for him to deal with. Usually after a visit from him, they were too… " He tried to think of the best word for how they looked when they came back from the director's office. Traumatized could fit, but it was intense.

With a cocked brow, Ciel filled in the rest. "You mean the director actually scared them into acting right? You mean he actually did what YOU'RE supposed to do?" He threw his hands up in frustration and pushed Sebastian back. "Why are you so difficult! Just say if you want this or not? I'll leave as soon as possible if you don't. But…" He stepped forward and looked away to the side and stared at a wall. "If you do want this, want us, then I'll stay, and we can work this out."

He risked a glance under his lashes and was met with a shocked man. Sebastian was staring at him with a straight mouth that let no emotion pass by, but his eyes were a different thing. They spoke volumes; they told of want and impatience. He sighed and closed his eyes before he flopped down in the chair. "I do want you, but- "

Ciel interrupted him. "No buts. We either agree or we don't. What will it be?"

Sebastian with eyes still closed dragged a hand over his face and left it there to provide cover from Ciel's probing eyes. After a silent minute, he parted two fingers to allow a peek at Ciel. With a sigh, he spoke with defeat. "Has anyone told you that you talk too much?"

With a smirk, Ciel approached Sebastian's slumped form and crawled into his lab and draped his arms on each side of Sebastian's neck. His hands dangled over the back of the chair and still, he pressed closer until his chest touched Sebastian's. He brought his face closer to where he knew his breath tickled the other's lip. "I wouldn't be a good future business man if I couldn't wear down my opponent." He pressed a quick kiss to Sebastian's and sat up with his legs still entrapping the other man's. "Plus, my father always said to use my charms and persistence to get what I want, and I really wanted you."

Sebastian seemed surprised to hear that Ciel really wanted him, and he ignored the slight feeling of being seen as a toy. He knew that Ciel didn't mean it and that would be something they would have to work on in the future. "Well, I'm glad your father taught you well. I'm yours until we get tired of each other." He wrapped an arm around the smaller male's neck and yanked him forward to kiss him deeply.

He only stopped giving Ciel kisses when he felt hands pressing against his chest to get some room between the two. He let go and looked up at Ciel who was scowling at him in slight annoyance. How the honeymoon lasts.

"What do you mean when we get tired of each other? Even if you tire of me, you're mine. I will wear you down like I did today to convince you that I'm really what you want." He smirked and ran a hand over Sebastian's forehead to brush back his bangs to clearly look into his eyes. "You have no way out, Michaelis. You've just made a deal with the devil."

"And then I told him that begging for me didn't suit him and that he should stick to his dark and mysterious shtick."

A roar of laughter and hands slapping the table was applause for Ciel as he told a rather untrue recount of what happened between him and Sebastian yesterday.

"We then kissed and made up and I went back to my room. You saw me when I came back, you guys. You get the idea what happened." A devious smirk crawled its way to settle on his face. He pushed away his binder as they relaxed on a rare break time after lunch.

They were inside a rather huge student lounge, but it made sense since the teachers and instructors had one as well. The had less windows and were less in width but they reached from bottom to the ceiling and provided plenty of sunlight in case a student wanted to study.

The area was one of the nicer areas of the entire camp and the floor was carpeted and had chairs with tables and couches against the walls. One of those couches were occupied by them all and they even managed to snag another couch and pushed them together to create a super long couch. The windows were directly behind them, so the sun didn't fall into anyone's eyes and blinding them.

Ciel stretched out and elbowed Finny away because he was too close before he turned sideways and placed his feet in Joker's lap and used Finny as a prop as he leaned his back against the other's shoulder. "Wake me up when our break ends. I have a feeling I'm going to need it for Spear's fill in at 1."

Surprisingly the group let him doze off while they chattered amongst themselves. Joker did eye Ciel's feet but left the little imp where he was. No point in arguing since he would lose it.

A good 15 minutes passed before a loud shout of Ciel's name had him sliding off of Finny's shoulder thus losing his balance and he landed on the ground with a pained groan.

He rubbed his back and he stood up with trembling legs as he tried to calm his heart. He looked at Alois who had entered the area like a hurricane. "Did you have to yell? I'm pretty sure god heard you."

Alois stole the seat that Ciel occupied which left him with no place.

"Anyway, I have some news that pertains to you! I saw a certain someone snooping around Michaelis's office and thought you might want to know."

That straightened Ciel up and wiped the glare off his face that he had pinned on the blonde idiot. "Who was it? That kid who's name I've forgotten? I was sure I dealt with him earlier." And he had. He hunted him down and pinned him against a wall and told him to stay away from the dean or else he would ruin his family's fortune from the roots. It worked since the kid turned white as a sheet.

Ciel figured he should feel bad but if he wants to keep his place by Sebastian's side, he had to take care of the extra pests that were following him. Maybe in time, when the relationship wasn't so new, Ciel would feel more comfortable with his place by Sebastian. However, that wasn't today.

"No, it was Landers. The new instructor. I was walking by to go find where Claude had run off to when I saw him stepping into Michaelis's office." Alois tried to put his feet in Joker's lap like Ciel had, but his feet were shoved off. He shrugged and slouched into the couch. "You might want to go and check it out. I'm pretty sure Michaelis wasn't even in his office so why would Landers go in there?"

Ciel frowned and hummed. "True. Alright, well since my nap got rudely interrupted- " He threw Alois a glare which the blonde ignored with a roll of his eyes, "- I'll go see what that bastard is up to."

He turned on his heels and made his way to the office; he would catch what that sneaky shit was up to.

Ciel glanced around and saw the usual crowd of students milling about the hallways and it would be obvious if he just walked into Sebastian's office. It would surely get back to the man and he would become suspicious what Ciel was doing in there with no invitation especially since he wasn't there. Their relationship was still shaky, so anything could break what fragile trust was being built.

He had to do it anyway. That bastard could be after Sebastian's job and that just wasn't allowed. Trying to walk as non-guilty as possible, he made a steady walk to the door. He stopped at the door and thought. What if Ash was in there still?

Oh, fuck it.

Ciel barged in and saw…

Ash siting in Sebastian's seat and staring straight at him with his hands crossed under his chin.
"Well, look what messenger brought?"

Ciel jerked back in confusion before he adjusted himself. "What are you doing in here? Se- Michaelis isn't here. He's probably teaching since Spears is off today for a 'break'." He still felt a bit guilty once he heard that Spears wasn't here today. The man was probably sulking somewhere, and it was his fault.

Ash just chuckled deeply and slowly stood up and made his way towards him. Ciel wanted to back away but he wasn't far from the door so he would be cornered.

"Hmm…" Ash brought a hand to his chin and looked up to fake ponder before he glanced down. He ran a finger just under his bottom lips as he brought his hand down. "That's interesting that you know his schedule. Tell me, do you know something that the other students don't?"

Ciel only glared and said nothing. The silence was basically an admission for Ash and he knew it when he eyes twinkled and he smiled. The smile was as fake as a doll's face and it creeped him out to see that it was aimed at him. He pushed away from the door and got into Ash's space and practically spitted at him. "I don't know what game you're playing, but when it comes to games, I. Always. Win." He enunciated those last words to show that he meant business.

He side-stepped the other man and walked towards the desk. Without glancing back, he spoke in a calm and falsely cheerful voice. "Don't try me, Landers. Now get out before Michaelis gets back and see that you're in here with no business."

A laughed stopped him and he looked over his shoulder to see Ash covering his mouth and a hand over his stomach to hold in the obviously fake laughter.

"What are you giggling about?"

Ash straightened up and wiped a fake tear away. He gazed across the room and blazing eyes were met with icy cold eyes. "You, boy. You're worried about the wrong thing and it's going to explode in both yours and your pet's face. See you around, boy." He waved and opened the door and stepped out. Be he shut the door, he spoke out. "Oh, and give Michaelis my best wishes."

With that, he left with nothing more to say.

Ciel slammed his fist on the desk before he swiped Sebastian's papers on the ground. He glanced down to see nothing important, so he left the papers there. "I hate that man."
