The Contract

Shavari had the contract. She had been promised payment once the deed was done and she had proof she had fulfilled the bargain. She was to kill the one who had infiltrated the embassy and had accessed confidential files. Shavari was a Khajiit assasin and a thief by trade. If the bounty was high enough she answered its call and offered her services. This bounty was 200,000 septim. That much could buy her food, skooma, and other luxuries. But the bounty was from the Thalamore. From Elywynn to be more precise. The high elf ambasador had placed a bounty on a dragon born's head. Normally Shavari despised the Thalamor and what they stood for. Those damned elven alumidi or whatever they called themselves had allied themselves with the imperials to cull Talos worshippers and to dominate the storm cloaks and Nords.

But money was money. The Elven woman had met with the Khajiit in a secluded area knowing full well the khajiit would not attack.

"We have an agreement then…you'll be paid once this 'dragon born' is dead and I have proof. And as an added bonus you will get your lifetime supply of skooma. Fail me and you die. Your whole family dies. You will get the pleasure of watching them die before you meet the same fate." Elywyyn warned.

Shavari swallowed and narrowed her eyes, ears flattening slightly. She did not like this…'woman' threatening her family. Shavari had not seen her family in years and doubed the elven woman would go through with her threat but did not doubt that the woman would kill Shavari if she failed.

"I kill this dragon born and you pay me." Shavari repeated it. Elywynn closed her eyes sighing and restraining from killing this cat outright. Khajiits were so stupid in her opinion. Still she had heared of Shavari and the Khajiit was good at what she did. "Yes. I believe the target will be in Riften. You will engage and terminate the target by whatever means necessary. The usual cautionary limits have been lifted and there will be no reprocussions."

Shavari nodded grinning a feral grin. She set out to Riften immediately to wait for the dragon born. She stalk and watch. Hoping that no damnable humans got curious about her and hoped that their children wouldn't bombard her or 'hug the kitty'. not that she hated humans. Didn't trust yes. But not hate. It wasn't long before her target appeared with their Housecarl Lydia.

She would kill Lydia too if the woman was foolish enough to get in her way. Shavari readied her dagger and stalked quietly behind the dragon born. This would be an easy kill or so she thought as she readied her dagger for a quick job.
