Chapter 1: The Lie

I am supposed to have a baby for this couple; the Sterns, and I just found out that I am pregnant, but once I saw the first sonogram of the baby, I knew I would not be able to give it up. I told my husband, Rick, how I felt and we decided not to tell Betsy and Bill about the baby, instead we will tell them that I have changed my mind about being a surrogate.

So the next day I called them and told them, that I had changed my mind. She took it rather hard but I knew I had made the right decision. I hated the fact that I had to lie to them.
