This fic is based off the drawing of the lovely and talented Muchacha10 on deviantart. Sorry it's so short!

"Help! Help! This evil dragon has me captured, help!"

Prince Kurt struggles a little under the fierce claws of the dragon, frowning as he realizes he cannot move. The dragon casts him a stern look as if to say 'nice try' then turns its nose back towards the door, watching for anyone coming to save the young prince.

Kurt sighs. He always seems to be stuck in these situations, captured by monsters and dragons and evil thieves. He wishes he could free at least one hand, to fix the crown that was starting to slide down the side of his head.

"Help is on the way!" a voice suddenly calls from outside.

The dragon's head lifts up, its mouth curling into a fierce smile as it readies for battle. Kurt watches the doorway anxiously. Then, the doors burst open and there he stands; the brave and honorable Sir Blaine, his sword hoisted high in the air, his guard hat standing tall.

"I'm here to save you, Prince Kurt!" Blaine shouts.

"Be careful, Blaine!" Kurt screams.

The dragon blows out a fiery breath that Blaine dodges, somehow. He rushes towards the beast and leaps from the floor, managing to land on its rear end. The dragon roars and swipes at him but he dodges again, running up the dragon's back, closer and closer to Kurt.

Until, quick as a flash, the dragon's free claw scoops Blaine up.

"Blaine!" Kurt screams again.

"Let go of my friend, foul beast!" Blaine yells, struggling in the dragon's clutches, his sword dropped somewhere onto the floor. Kurt can only watch helplessly as Blaine thrashes from side-to-side. The dragon holds Blaine in front of its face, licks its lips and starts to open his mouth.

"Hey ugly!" Kurt yells, and he kicks up his feet, rocking his body enough for the dragon to look over at him.

It's enough time; Blaine bites down on the dragon's hand and he's dropped in surprise as the dragon cries out, wiggling its claw and glaring down at the floor. He moves towards Blaine quickly. But Blaine is faster and grabs his sword, slaying the beast in one swipe.

He frees Kurt from its clutches and the Prince wastes no time in straightening his crown before he throws his arms around Blaine in jubilation.

"My hero!" he crows. "How can I ever pay you?"

Blaine grins. "How about milk and cookies? I'm hungry."

"Blaine," Kurt rolls his eyes. "That's not what heroes get when they save the Princess! Haven't you been paying attention to the movies?"

"Uh…no? What do they get?"

Kurt flushes. "They…they get a kiss."

"From who?"

"From the Princess, Blaine!"

"Oh!" Blaine flushes now. "So…you kiss me now?"

Kurt nods. They don't look at each other, Blaine staring very hard at the floor. Then Kurt suddenly leans in and kisses Blaine's cheek very quickly. Blaine turns, if possible, even redder.

"Thank you for saving me, Sir Blaine."

"You're welcome, Prince Kurt."

They grin at each other, blushes slowly fading, until a knock on the door makes them both jump.

"Sorry boys," Kurt's mother smiles at them from the doorway, "But I just made some cookies. Do you-"

Before she can even finish, they're throwing down their toys and bolting out of the room. She chuckles softly, and glances back into the bedroom. Kurt's giant plush dragon is off in a corner, a sword lying haphazardly across it. She sees the British guard hat her parents had sent back for him while on their European vacation and Kurt's birthday boy crown right next to it.

She shakes her head; those boys and their imaginations.
