PROLOGUE

"Raven I have to tell you something important."

"Sure thing, Alexander."

"I have to go to back to my birth home."

"Raven say something!"

"Why?"

"To fight for my family and regain the crown before someone else snatches it."

"How long do you think you're going to be?"

"That's the thing. I don't know when I'll ever be back."

"What about us, Alexander?"

"Huh? What about us? What's going to happen between us then?"

"I don't know sweetheart. Maybe you can stay at the mansion until I come back."

"What if that war takes years and not days or weeks?"

"I don't know."

"We have to break up Alexander."

A shocking expression on his face indicated that was the last thing on his mind and the way she spoke that sentence even brought tears to her eyes.

"No I don't want to, Raven. You mean the world to me!"

Raven got up of the attic's cold floor and shook her head and sniffled trying to show that she didn't want to do this.

Her back was to Alexander.

"It's...Over...Alexander!"

Tears was flowing down heer face fast as she ran down the stairs and ran to her house.

Alexander was heart broken.

He stared at the moon from the attic window as he packed his stuff.

Raven was in her room crying into her pillow.

Alexander left before the moon completely went away.

Raven awoken and quickly gotten dressed and ran to Alexander's house to talk him out of leaving.

Jameson told her he was gone.

She was devistated.

Trever walked past her while she was on the curb crying her eyes out.

"Raven? Is that you? What's wrong?"

Trever sat next to her.

"Why do you care?"

"Because I've never cry so something have to be wrong."

"You don't have tosit her like you care."

"I do care. I've cared about you since we were kids."

"What?"

"I love you! Basically. Come home with me so we can talk."

Raven and trever been dating since then.
