Chapter 8 The music in the club was pumping, her head was spinning, and her body was on auto-pilot moving her to the beat that was pounding within her entire being. Somehow, maybe she knew the bartender, Haku managed to order a round of shots for both Naruto and herself. They were about 7 shots in each, and it only added to the feeling of the dance club. With every shot Naruto felt herself becoming one with the beat of the bands playing, she had completely let loose. Naruto and Haku sang at the top of their lungs, dancing on the hot and sweaty dance floor. Her entire being was slick with sweat, but she didn't care. Every bounce, every sway, every bead of sweat, was only adding to the moment. She didn't even care when passer-by's stopped, and danced with her. It only made the experience more fun.
Before long though, she found herself being pulled along by Haku toward the backroom. Naruto gave Haku a booming smile when she stopped them in front of the door. Haku gave a gentle smile back as she asks "You ready to meet the band?"
"You better believe it!" Naruto replied pumping her arms into the arm.
Haku opened the door which relieved five people squabbling with one another, paying no mind to the girls that just entered.
"God damn it Darui, how could you mess up the mixing for song three." One of the others snapped.
"Stop riding my ass Konan, you want shit done a certain way, why don't you do it yourself." The one she had called Darui replied. She was about to lay into him when Zabuza noticed they had entered and made his way to grab Haku around the waist and trailed kisses down her cheek.
"I missed you, these people are unbearable." He muttered to her, Naruto smiled at her friend before walking in further. Stupidly drunk Naruto tumbled a little before making it to her destination, the couch. Sitting, she beamed a smile to the person to her left before speaking.
"Name's Naruto!" She exclaimed extending a hand toward him.
"I'm Jugo." He replied smiling at her taking her hand in his.
She leaned toward Jugo, and moved her hand over her mouth to whisper "Don't tell anyone my secret, but I may or may not be ridiculously drunk right now."
He let out a chuckle. "Don't worry your secret is safe with me."
"See, this is why we can become super amazing friends." She replied high fiving the poor drummer.
"Since when do you babysit Haku?" Naruto blushed before jumping up.
"And just who are you calling a "baby" asshole!" She thundered back. Haku covered her mouth to hide her giggle, and Zabuza just rubbed his temples.
"I don't see anyone else under age here." He replied wickedly making Naruto's blood boil, she was about to lose her cool. She went to take a step toward him, but her foot got caught in one of the many wires on the floor. Before she could steady herself she yelped and fell forward.
"Ouch." She muttered before she realized she had fallen atop of the bassist and was now staring into his annoyed green eyes.
"Yo, Gaara! You and the girl okay?" Jugo asked witnessing the entire thing.
"Would you mind getting off of me?" He snapped with blush forming on his cheeks. Her mind caught up with what he was saying and she flung herself backward so she was no longer lying atop of him.
"Sorry." She muttered staring at the floor as blush dusted her cheeks.
"Naruto..?" Naruto froze; there was only one person that voice could belong too. Un-fumbling herself from the cords, and Gaara, she managed to run (fumbling more) across the room to who that voice belonged too.
"Tachi!.." She exclaimed capturing the eldest Uchiha into a hug.
"How much has she had to drink?" Itachi asked the band members wrinkling his nose at the stench of alcohol coming off of Naruto.
"Hell if I know." Gaara replied finally standing himself.
"My apologies, I'm the one that got her drunk." Haku fessed up with a bow.
"What are you apologizing for, you're not her keeper, not your fault she got wasted." Zabuza defended Haku. "Man thought you were going to bail on us again."
"Yes, well you know how life goes… Ouch, Naruto stop pulling my hair." Itachi tried to fend off the drunken girl tugging at his hair.
"But… it's so soft." She muttered tugging some more. Itachi sighed picking her up and setting her on the couch beside Jugo yet again.
"Watch her; I'm calling for someone to come get her." Itachi stated to Jugo before walking away.

Sasuke sat at his computer, trying to concentrate on his homework for the next day, when his phone started buzzing. Figuring it was nothing important, seeing as it was only Itachi, he sent it right to voice mail. A few minutes later his phone started buzzing again. Annoyed Sasuke frowned, debating turning his phone off, so he could focus on the essay he had due for third period biology. After thinking it through, he once again sent Itachi to his voice mail. Sasuke figured his brother got the picture after being ignored a second time, and turned his attention back to the computer. Too much his irritation his phone went off once again; reluctantly knowing perfectly well that he wasn't going to be able to ignore Itachi, Sasuke answered. "What the hell do you want?"
"Now Sasuke, that's not a polite way to answer your phone." Itachi replied to his little brother. Sasuke was fuming at this point. Not only was his brother calling him at an unreasonable hour, he could hear the music of a dance club, girls yelling, and giggling from the background.
"If you have no reason for calling, I'm going to hang up." Sasuke snapped.
"Always so impatient aren't we Sasuke. Anyway, I have a very drunk Naruto with me in desperate need of a drive home, are you available?" Itachi asked smoothly, and Sasuke groaned realizing the loud girl from the background was the one and only Naruto.
"Yeah, where are you?" Sasuke inquired.
"The club where I use to play with "Mist", remember it?" Itachi said calmly.
"Yeah I'll be there in fifteen." Sasuke hung up, and gathered his keys.

When Sasuke got to the club he called Itachi seeing as the bouncer wasn't about to allow him inside. Seeing as it was the most popular dance club in down town Konoha it wasn't much of a surprise. How Naruto managed to get in amazed him. Sasuke waited by the side entrance having a quick smoke before Itachi finally opened the side entrance door.
"How wasted is she." Sasuke asked his brother taking a final drag of his cigarette before stumping it out.
"Oh, I'll let you see for yourself." Itachi said standing to the side allowing Sasuke entrance.
"S'suke!" Naruto yelled almost trampling the youngest Uchiha to the ground.
"Watch it dobe." Sasuke said trying to steady himself and the drunk blond that fumbled into him.
"Good to see you again Sasuke." Haku giggled gathering up Naruto's things before handing them to the young Uchiha.
"Who're you calling a dobe?" She puffed out her cheeks in annoyance.
"I take it you'll handle it from here?" Itachi asked Sasuke.
"Yeah, I'll get her home, thanks for calling me." Sasuke stated as he wrapped his arm around the slender girl, and started guiding her towards the door.
"Maybe I don't want to go home yet!" Naruto protested failing to get loose of Sasuke's grip on her and ended up falling backwards with an "ouff"
"Now are you done?" Sasuke asked offering his hand to the intoxicated girl.
"And what if I'm not?" Naruto challenged refusing the hand attempting to get up on her own. She was in a weird legs and hands on the floor, ass in the air stance when Sasuke lost his patients with her. In one swoop she found herself tossed over Sasuke's shoulder. "Just wh- 'hiccup' the hell you think you're doing teme!" She hollered, embarrassed to be thrown over his shoulder like a child.
"It's late, and we have school in the morning. I'm not waiting here all night while you figure out how your limbs work." Sasuke shot back walking with Naruto over his shoulder toward the door. There was a roar of laughter coming from the band members of mist at the scene, or it could be the fact Naruto continued to slap his ass with all her might and making a fuss in hopes he'd let her go.
"I'll see you tomorrow at school." Haku said with a smile waving to Naruto, who was too busy steaming a line of insults at Sasuke has he walked them out the door.
Sasuke finally gave in now that they were outside and set Naruto down on her feet, which caused her to tumble forward into him. "Dammit Sasuke I could have walked." She barked and hit him on the arm, then stepped back from the boy.
"Get in the damn car." Sasuke said unlocking the car and opening the door for her. She childishly stuck out her tongue at him, but complied. With a sigh Sasuke shut the door after Naruto was safe inside the vehicle, and made his way around to the driver's side. Naruto puffed her cheeks in annoyance as she battled with her seat belt. Sasuke watched in amusement as she cussed and made death threats to her seat belt. "Need some help?" Sasuke finally asked. Blush made its way across her already flushed face and she nodded in defeat. With a smirk on his lips Sasuke leaned over, and fastened Naruto's seat belt for her.
"Thanks. Thanks for coming to get me." Naruto said when Sasuke was back on his side of the car. Sasuke started the car, and then pulled out of the packed parking lot.
"It's no problem." Sasuke muttered back focusing on not hitting the car that parked way to close behind him. Soon enough he managed to get out, and they were on their way. "I'm just amazed that they served you in there."
"Haku probably knew the bar tender." Naruto stated refusing to make eye contact with Sasuke.
"It's still irresponsible." Sasuke sighed looking over to the sobering blond beside him. "Well I can't exactly bring you back to your parents wasted, what do you say we stop at a twenty-four hour diner, and get some food in you?" She seemed to perk up at the mention of food.
"Can we get Waffles?" Her eyes where dancing.
"Sure, we can get anything you want. It's a bit of a drive, but there is a late night waffle house I know." Sasuke suggested.
"Oh man, today keeps getting better, and better." She exclaimed.
"Oh, you mean making an ass of yourself drunk is a good time." Sasuke teased, she flushed.
"What the hell do you know about fun? You seem to always have a stick shoved up your ass, asshole." She retorted, as Sasuke smiled in amusement.
"You're right. Picking your drunken ass up at-"Sasuke quickly glanced at the clock. "1:00am isn't what I'd consider fun."
"Then why even bother." Naruto crossed her arms in annoyance.
"I'm just that great of a friend." Sasuke teased her further, earning a slap on the arm. "Hey don't abuse the driver."
o-O-o-o-O-o
They walked into the cozy little diner, which Sasuke had explained his family frequented. Naruto looked around while Sasuke spoke to the waitress, who was giggling and batting her eye lashes at the youngest Uchiha. While gazing around something shimmering caught her attention. A whole new feeling of warmth filled her heart when she noticed Sasuke was still wearing her earring. Blush crossed her cheeks as she fiddled with the bracelet around her left wrist. Soon enough the waitress walked away, only briefly to grab there breakfast menu, and walked them to a small booth over toward the far end in the corner of the diner. She sat opposite to Sasuke as the waitress handed them the menus. "If there is anything, extra, I can get for you let me know." She smiled sweetly hinting at Sasuke she was willing to give him her number.
"Thank you, we'll let you know when we're ready to order." Sasuke dismissed her. Naruto watched as she retreated, she didn't miss the rejection blush that graced the waitresses face.
"You don't have to be rude Sasuke. That poor girl is probably going to go cry in the back, and spit in our food." Naruto scolded and Sasuke raised an eye brow.
"If I acknowledged her advances, even turning her down, she would remain persistent." Sasuke explained over his menu.
"Still doesn't mean you need to act like a self-absorbed asshole." Naruto muttered looking over her own menu.
"Have you decided on what you'll have this morning?" A female voice interrupted their bickering causing both to look away from their menu surprised.
"I'll have waffles with everything on it!" Naruto stated excitedly handing their waitress back her menu.
"I'll just have coffee, black, and no sugar." Sasuke told her handing her back his menu as well.
A few minutes later, after a long deafening silence between the two, Naruto was the first to speak. "You're really not going to eat anything, now I feel bad for ordering so much food." She blushed.
"Its fine, you need to eat more than me to absorb all the alcohol you consumed." Sasuke explained eyeing the girl across from him.
"I'm not even that drunk anymore." Naruto defended herself as the waitress set Sasuke's coffee down, and a huge plate of waffles in front of Naruto. "You sure you don't want to share?" Naruto then questioned wiggling her eye brows. With a sigh Sasuke picked up the fork from his side and cut into the waffles, taking a bite.
"You happy, I took a bite. Now stop whining, and feed yourself." Sasuke muttered before taking a sip of his coffee.
"Fine… fine. I don't get how you can drink coffee without milk and sugar though. That my friend is disgusting." Naruto stated while shovelling some of her waffles into her mouth. She was anything, but lady like which caused Sasuke to smile. Before long Naruto thoroughly cleaned her plate, and shot a smile to Sasuke. "Man, was that good."
"I'm glad you enjoyed it. Anything else I can get for you?" Sasuke offered, and she thought about it.
"No, thank you though." Naruto's smile was beaming, which caused a small smile to dance at the corner of Sasuke's mouth.
"Alright than I best get you home." Sasuke than stood chucking a fifty onto the table, and motioned for Naruto to follow him.
