Disclaimer: I do not own One Piece.
A/N: It's short, but I like it.
The last was Usopp and when he chose the 'winning' stick, the sniper screamed in agony. Robin giggled at the sight of the long nose cursing up to the skies as to why he was the unfortunate one. The child, even after two years, seemed to dislike entering a new unexplored place.
Her, along with the two winners, were grinning at their luck. Everyone who picked the losing choice was envying the four, except Nami and Chopper. They preferred the safe Thousand Sunny. Luffy already ran up to Sanji to demand his lunch, and was promptly received without excessive orders. Zoro was standing next to Robin, looking all calm and whatnot, but she could see that the man was excited as well.
Hmm, he's smiling more than usual...Robin observed. Is it the whole idea about meeting samurais? There seemed to be more in the meaning of Zoro's smile, so she thought deeper. Was it the fact that the belligerent cook wasn't going with them? That could be, but Zoro wouldn't smile that wide. She carefully inspected the swordsman without being all too suspicious. When she looked where Zoro was staring at the whole time it finally clicked.
The swordsman was looking at Luffy. It all made sense now.
Everyone was separated for two years, and this included the 'secret couple' (which wasn't a secret of course since everyone knew) of the captain and the first mate. Plus, this had been the first time Zoro and Luffy went out from the whole group. The last time was when they were in Water 7/Enies Lobby, and that was quite a long time for a happy lovey-dovey couple.
It was two years and finally their date. How sweet.
"Huh?" Zoro raised an eye at Robin. She unintentionally mouthed out 'how sweet' and it was caught by the keen swordsman. She clasped her mouth ever so gently and widened her eyes in minute surprise.
"How...sweet it is to enter such a dangerous and thrilling place."
"Keh, you're crazy woman."
The End
