If there's any typos, or whatever, poke me plz! No beta, and for once I haven't bothered to go over it 100 times before posting, so yeah...I just really wanted it off my to-do list, so it might seem a bit rushed, but that's because it is... orz (also, I'm totally procrastinating cramming for exams. Why else would I be finding time to write this, huh.)

Hildegarde watched with mild fascination as two humans seemed to be trying to suck each others' faces off on the thing humans called a TV. It was the weekly drama Oga's mother had introduced her to. She had to admit it was rather interesting to watch these apparently entirely fictional scenarios play out. It was a marvelous way of studying human behaviour and customs without having to deal with the actual humans. That was simply below her.

Humans were still insects, and would always be. Well, with a few exceptions. She could respect the strong ones. But then there was Oga's family...she wasn't really sure what she thought of them really. The sister, Misaki, had the aura of a strong human. Hildegarde had felt her killing intent on one single occasion, and it had made her blood sing with approval. The parents however, were a disappointing pair. Especially when they had produced two very adequate specimens of humans.

But back to the TV and the drama. There were so many strange things humans tended to do, and this very instance was one of them. She'd caught that it was a thing they called "kissing", but truly could not fathom the appeal. It seemed like such a dirty thing to do. Mix saliva with another being? Yuck. Yet it seemed to be a very popular thing to do among humans.

Seeing this now though made her think. It reminded her of something she'd seen somewhere else…

She turned to Oga's mother who was happily watching the same show from the other couch, calmly sipping her tea.

"Are there any rules to this kissing thing?"

"Eh? Ah, hmm...not really? You do as you want, but make sure you don't do anything your partner doesn't like."

"I was more thinking of the social rules around it."

Oga's mother took a moment to think. "Well, there is always a time and a place for it…"

"What're we talking about?" Misaki barged into the conversation by flopping into the couch beside Hildegarde.

"Kissing." Hildegarde replied simply.

"Ho-hoo." Misaki gained a glint in her eyes. Hildegarde wasn't sure if she liked it or not. "So what about kissing?"

"Is it normal to kiss beings one would call friends?"

Misaki blinked rapidly, seemingly taken off guard. "Uh. No, not normally." She frowned.

"Then who would you normally do that with?"

"A boyfriend or a girlfriend, depending on what you fancy." A smirk made its way onto Misaki's face again. "In your case, it would be Ta-"

"But didn't you just say you don't normally kiss friends?" Hildegarde interrupted.

"Ah, well yeah, but those words mean lover really, just a bit more of a casual way of saying it."

"I see." Hildegarde pondered for a moment, running through the things she had noticed the last few months in her head. Finally satisfied with the puzzle pieces falling into place, she naturally reported her findings to the two with her without further thought. "That makes Tatsumi and Toujou lovers then."

Tea is sprayed across the coffee table, just as it's kicked on its head by a stray leg from Misaki.

"WHAT!"

Hildegarde frowned at the mess in front of her. Was that really necessary? "They keep disappearing together, and when I find them they're usually either busy trying to suck each others' faces off or-"

"Waitwaitwaitwait! Hold up! You're saying my little pipsqueak of a brother has been making out with someone else!? And you seem ok with it!"

"Why wouldn't I be ok with it?"

Just as Misaki is about to erupt again, there's a curt "We're home" from the hallway before Oga strolls in with Lill' Lord hanging off his shoulder.

"TATSUMIIIIIII!" Misaki vaults over the back of the couch and launches herself at Oga. Lill' Lord sees it and swiftly jumps ship to a broader shoulder who strategically takes a few steps back from the brown haired teen to avoid getting pulled into whatever is going down.

"What the-Fuck off, sis! Get off me." Oga snarls.

"What is this I hear about you cheating on Hilda with this Toujou? Explain yourself!"

"Like hell I am! I'm not cheating on anyone. Least of all that Demon of a lady–"

"HOW DARE YOU CALL BEAUTIFUL HILDA-CHAN THAT! I'LL SCRUB THAT FILTHY MOUTH OF YOURS WITH STEEL WOOL AND SODIUM HYDROXIDE!"

"Says the one with the filthiest mouth of us all?"

"That's not the big issue today! Today you're gonna explain why the fuck you're apparently fooling around with Toujou when you already have someone like Hilda."

"Back the fuck off things you don't understand!"

"I understand plenty! I also know for a fact that you will never ever ever find anyone of Hilda's calibre willing to be your wife ever again, so don't you fucking throw this opportunity away with–"

"Tatsumi. You already have a girlfriend?" Toujou, unable to reign in his curiosity, blurts. "Why didn't you–"

"I'm not done! You stay out of this!" Misaki hisses at Toujou, glare hot enough to scald a phoenix. "Who are you again?"

"I'm Toujou."

There's a moment of ice cold silence.

"No way...No fucking way!" Misaki whirls on Oga screeching with enough volume to make the roof lift off. "When the fuck did you turn gay!?"

"I'm not–?"

"Then why the hell do I hear you're sucking faces with this guy!?" She points a quivering finger at Toujou.

Oga rolls his eyes skyward and grinds out, "Just cuz I've been making out with one guy doesn't make me gay! He just happens to be the one person that's been interesting enough so far!"

Hildegarde idly wonders if Misaki's brain has short circuited. The empty look in her eyes seems to point in that direction. Oga's mother seems to have completely tuned out the conversation, having gone to put the table back in place, wiped away the spilled tea, and gotten herself a new cup of the hot leaf juice to accompany her while she went back to staring at the TV.

Upon glancing at Toujou, Hildegarde finds that he is also sporting a strange expression that she can't say she can remember seeing on him, or anyone else before either. Interesting.

Oga on the other hand doesn't seem fazed at all, and just walks past the frozen Misaki, adressing his mom instead. "Ma? Got any food we can reheat or something? We're starving."

A hand suddenly grabbed Oga's head from behind, a menacing aura flooding the room. "Not. So. Fast...You're not getting away from me 'till you've explained yourself–"

"What's going on in here? I've been hearing a lot of shou–" It was at this moment that Oga's father decided to show up through the other door, and found himself getting an eyeful of a very very tall and broad guy kissing his beloved son long and hard. There even seemed to be a little tongue involved. The poor man's soul flew out the window in shock.

"Does that explain enough?" Toujou growls when he finally lets go of Oga's lips, and doesn't wait for a reply before he drags a hissing and spitting Oga out through the door they came in through, and disappears up the stairs. An irritable "What the hell was that, Tora?" fading out as they moved further away from them.

The livingroom is eerily silent for several long minutes, till Hildegarde uncrosses her arms and huffs lightly. "Good. At least that clears things up." A small smile alighted on her lips. "This little incident has been very informative. Thank you Misaki. I am very pleased with this outcome, knowing Lill' Lord now has not one, but two, very powerful parents to raise him to become a splendid Demon Lord."

And with that she left the three to their blank stares and blown minds to ready Be'el's afternoon milk bottle.
