Summary: Omake for RaF. There's a pretty little five-year-old girl wandering the halls of the Vongola mansion, and no one knows where she's come from or why she's there. One-shot. Ficlet.
SkyGem: Well, I was dutifully working on the second chapter of "First Date" (which is coming along quite nicely) when this idea came to my mind, and I just had to get it written right away! So you'll just have to wait until tomorrow for that! Oh well. I hope you all like this adorable little ficlet.
Disclaimer: I don't own Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
G was on his way to Giotto's office when he saw her; a cute little girl wearing a cute little dress with a cute little hairstyle that was held by a cute little bow. At first, his brain didn't register what he saw; he merely smiled at her and went on his way, so accustomed to seeing adorable children around the house that he didn't realize that this adorable little child wasn't supposed to be here.
It wasn't until the redhead had opened the door to his best friend's office and was halfway in that he realized what he had just seen.
Giotto, having noticed his friend the moment the door opened, frowned a little when he saw the expression on G's face. "G?" he asked.
His storm guardian ignored him, immediately turning to run back into the hallway.
Alarmed at his friend's actions, Giotto immediately jumped up and over his desk in his haste to follow G to wherever it was he was heading.
Running after his friend, Giotto almost crashed into the man when he suddenly stopped in the middle of the hallway.
Irritated at his actions, the blond was about to ask him what was going on when he saw her.
"Who…?" he asked, trailing off in confusion.
"I have no idea," replied G, slowly following after her. "I passed her in the hallway just now, but didn't really pay attention to her. I smiled, and she just smiled back and continued walking, as if this were an everyday occurrence for her."
"…Is it?" asked Giotto after a long moment of silence.
His expression becoming irritable, G growled, "Of course not, you idiot! I've never seen her before in my life!"
Shrinking back a little, Giotto looked at his friend reproachfully. "I was just asking," he said with a pout.
"Whatever," said the redhead, "now let's go catch her! Who knows who she could be!"
The two men set off down the hall, and in seconds, they'd reached the little girl.
Grabbing a hold of her small shoulder, Giotto turned her around and was met by pomegranate red cheeks, cute little dimples, and familiar brown eyes that he would recognise anywhere.
His eyes widening at the sight before him, he took in the cute little dress with the ruffled skirt and the flower designs on it. The person in front of him really looked like a girl, but those eyes unmistakably belonged to…
"Tuna fish!" shouted the blond overdramatically, bending down to hug his –ahem- daughter. "What has she done to you?"
SkyGem: Three guesses as to who "she" is. Anyways, that was really short, and nothing much happened, but I absolutely loved it! Please do leave a review and tell me what you thought.
