Hello ! I made this poem a while ago to deal with a friends' sudden passing. I just altered the wording a bit to fit the story. Enjoy !

Thunder Roars In The Night
The Sky Flashes With Light
Clouds Shedding Their Tears
The Wind Blowing Forth My Fears
The Ground Soaking Up My Race
My Vision Blurred By Tears On My Face
My Legs Beginning To Burn From The Run
Not Stopping Until I'm Where We Begun
The Storm Booming ; Reminding Me Of Her
The Broken Promise of Protection I Didn't Honor
Trying Not To Believe What The Trees Are Saying
Hoping Your Alive Is What I'm Praying
Running Farther ; I Have Only Myself To Hate
Leaving You Behind For Your Incarnate
I Didn't Think It Would Lead To This
I Shouldn't Have Left My One Gift Of Bliss
Deeper Into The Forest ; I Know She's Nearby
Recalling The Rough Words That Made Her Want To Die
Running Faster And Faster ; The Distance Seems So Long
My Heart Pounding ; I Know Something's Wrong
Finally I Reach The Forest's Edge
The Well Of Time Just Ahead
Frantically My Eyes Search The Clearing
Crying Her Name Out In Hope She's Hearing
Suddenly I Spot Something On The Ground
Diminishing My Hope That She Is Still Around
With Every Step Closer I Feel A Chill
The Storm Abruptly Going Still
Before Me, A Bloody Message On A Stone
Writing She Could No Longer Handle Being Alone
Her Lifeless Corpse Resting Nearby
The Light Forever Gone From Her Eyes
Dropping To My Knees ; Crying Without Restraint
Filling My Soul With Her Once Sorrow And Hate
Looking To The Sky ; Screaming Out In Pain
She Was Gone And I Had Taken Her In Vain
Lying On The Ground
For Miles There Was No Sound
Just The Beat Of My Heart
Knowing This Pain Was Only The Start
This Torture Won't Leave Nor Will It Ever Be
Until The Afterlife And Kagome's Next To Me
