"Is she still sleep dad?" I almost jerked awake at Julie's voice.

A/N: Sorry for the long wait, I won't make up excuses as to why. But let's just say life caught up with me. So here you go Chapter 20 of the one I want.

Previously on The One I Want...

"Yeah, Ranger is Aunt Steph awake?" this time my eyes popped open at Mary Alice's voice.

"Babe."

"I Love you, so what's this chocolate smell."

"What's going on? I'm I dreaming again." They all looked at me

"NO! and about time you're awake too, the breakfast was getting cold!" exclaimed Julie.

"Yeah! Ella made chocolate chip pancakes!" Mary Alice shouted as they both tore out of the room towards the kitchen.

I felt a slight jolt of pain as Carlos picked me up and carried me to the kitchen. The smell of chocolate aroma was stronger as I we came closer to the silver platter.

"Good morning, darling girl, how are you?" Ella spoke softly to me while putting strands of hair behind my ear.

"I'm a little confused, but I'll be OK." I spoke softly and Carlos's grip on me tighten just a bit.

I knew he was silently questioning why I was acting shy and reserved, I just couldn't get my hopes up. I didn't know if my mind was so messed up that it would play this cruel joke on me. I was surrounded by everything I could ever and did dream about, I didn't want it to slip through my fingers. I loved these people in this room and to think that I could actually be dreaming again would really set me back.

I silently watched them while we ate breakfast, it was as if nothing really happened. I caught Carlos shooting glances at me throughout breakfast, but everything else was normal for a change.

This could not be possible, I had spent days in a coma dreaming up this fantasy world only for it to turn out to be unreal. I wouldn't be able to handle anymore, it's as if I cannot trust my own mind anymore. I used to depend on my "spidey sense" and now I wouldn't know what to believe.

"Alright girl it's time for Stephanie to get back in bed, why don't you guys go see if Ella needs any help." Mary Alice and Julie ran towards me quickly kissing me on the cheeks and running out the door.

Carlos carried me back into his bedroom and deposited me softly on the bed, "Babe do you need anything?" he softly asked.

"No, so are you going to tell me how you managed to get Julie and Mary Alice?"

"It was really easy actually, the truth got around Trenton about Terry, Val, and Joe, and yesterday your dad came to me asking to take in Mary Alice because Val had fled with Angie leaving her at school by herself."

"She did WHAT!" I jolted in pain.

I couldn't wrap my mind around Val's logic, to think that by leaving the child so similar to me that she would somehow escape her sins. Because believe me that is exactly what she would be thinking.

"Oh my god, I hope this doesn't effect MA in anyway. She's going to be so heartbroken when she finds out about this.

"Come on Babe, you need your rest and MA is going to be fine she has her Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Carlos." Carlos gently tucked me in the bed and kissed my forehead. That Uncle Carlos didn't go unnoticed.

My nap was dreamless, I didn't sleep well. Everything that happened this past week was really taking a toll on me.

But one question I repeated asked myself, Was this finally happening, was I really getting my Forever?
